Losing a parent is an extremely difficult thing to go though. I'm from the USA and I grew up eating cow tongue and most everything I have seen Sonny show in different countries, just different spices. I love pigs head, feet and chicken feet too. There's not much I don't like from being raised on a farm.
I love how everyone is standing back looking at Sonny as he rates the food . Like ""DOES HE LIKE IT!! ""IS IT GOOD , I love this content & the culture . We need people like Sonny to show Diversity & Union Thanks for all you do .
Mpisi is my favorite guest he's had ever. He's so friendly and has such a cheerful spirit. I love him rubbing his prized bunny fur blanket he made and pressed it to Sunny's face. He was so proud of it 💕 1:27:42
I noticed a lot of parallels with the stuff my family would do in the south, such as eating, singing and a lot of drinking. I love seeing the life of someone being celebrated when they've passed. It's like everyone coming together to bring back the energy that person brought to them. The food definitely seemed a tad weird but honestly it looked pretty good.
The goats blood looks bad, but it is actually very delicious. Once you have had it the taste stays with you and you crave it. I haven't had it since I was a child, but there are days I just want to eat it.

Truthfully, I’ve watched this episode many times and it really moves me each time. I sympathize with the beautiful host, for losing her mother and I send her my most heartfelt condolences. Losing a parent is an extremely difficult thing to go though. I couldn’t think of a better or more graceful way for her family to honor her and celebrate her life than what they’ve done here💕🙏🏻Excellent video, Sonny!
Thank you Sonny for finally coming to Zimbabwe,I am a huge fan of you and for all my time watching you I never thought that you would set foot in our Country.A huge thanks from me and as I'm sure from many Zimbabweans as well for visiting our country
To give us all, an hour and thirty-three minute video had to have taken so much time, energy, patience, passion, etc... Thank you so much for the entertainment, Sonny & Crew. I just love how this channel reminds me of Anthony Bourdain❤️🙏🏽. Many blessings
Thank you Sonny for visiting our beautiful country and for this awesome video, it really brings out the beauty of our country Zimbabwe and her cultures. I love your interaction with everyone and that's awesome. Gracia really knows her Shona culture and she sold Zim very well. Everyone else who was guiding Sonny, I say thumps up, you represented our beautiful country and our food. Watching this video 'from Cape Town made me feel like I am home. Proud to be Zimbabwean

I hate that youtube takes away from these educational videos on how other cultures live and survive. Absolutely love your content !
I have to say this is one of the best episodes you've done! With all of your guides/co-hosts doing such a fantastic job each bringing something great to the show. Definitely piqued my interest in Zimbabwe!!
This is awesome!!!
Thank you for visiting our country and showing the world the diversity of our dishes and hospitality. 🙏🏿❤️💜💙
An infusion of food, culture and a good sence of humor 😂😂I love this program so much🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
This was really heart warming Sonny and team, you highlighted Zimbabwe's way of life and food very well.
I love how she really loves and adores her country and tradition ❤️ I also love her sense of humor 😂

i’m venezuelan and cow tounge is one of the dishes we eat depending on what town you come from…i’m glad you liked it!!! i would loveee to go to zimbabwe and try their food! it lookes really yummy‼️ this videos was super fun to watch!💕💕
I'm from the USA and I grew up eating cow tongue and most everything I have seen Sonny show in different countries, just different spices. I love pigs head, feet and chicken feet too. There's not much I don't like from being raised on a farm.
You are welcome
These people are beautiful. Gracie and Sonny together are hilarious 😂. So fun
As a foodie from Minnesota, this looks so delicious and fascinating! I would absolutely try! what hospitable lovely people!
One day i will invite you to zimbabwe... Watch this space
@@longinamakumbe6118 I would be so grateful! Culture is amazing

As 🇬🇭 Ghanaian Zimbabwe is a dream for. I love Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and Zimbabweans
thanks for loving us, we love Ghana also .our former first lady was from Ghana
I think this is the top 5 best episode yet. I love how open and engaging he is. I don't even think it's for the cameras because we're only seeing 20 or 30 min of his 24 or 48 hour journey.
Makes me want to go back to my village now
When you bought Vincent a new cow I almost cried, you guys are so kind. Good karma will come back💕
One of the best documentary about Mother Africa Zimbabwe. Viva Mother Zimbabwe. Viva. Viva Zimbabweans. Viva.
It's beautiful to see communities get together and welcome outsiders to experience their culture.
Proudly Zimbabwean 🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
Hey there!!
Reminds me of home🇸🇿🇸🇿....its so green. And the young lady is such a lovely and pleasant host💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you Sonny you just made my day. I came from Zimbabwe two days ago but i miss home already! Thanks for buying Vincent a cow that was very symbolic.
The fact you are always trying to learn every aspect and be involved in the process is my favorite part of this channel. You, your team and the fans that invite you to experience all these amazing things are incredible. Keep doing what you guys do.
africa is so huge, so many countries look so different. zimbabwe, goreous. the weather just looks nice on this day, just beautiful. makes all the people look beautiful. dang.
I love the humble way of living these beautiful people take part in. Hard work, food, family, celebration, and living within your means. I truly want to visit this place one day. Thank you for sharing this blissful experience, and for buying that gentleman his cow!
Thats sweet, which part you want to visit?
Really really love everything about this mini doc about Zim. Real cool. From the edit, camera shoots to the presenter’s personality. Love it
I m enjoying this documentary, proudly Zimbabwean. I m loving the fact that the food is being prepared and cooked and no flies are attracted in the process. Very smart.
I've only known a bit about Zimbabwe from it's money inflation and other little things. I thank Sonny and his team for introducing me to different cultures especially to those with little worldwide attention.
My personal fave was Cuba.

It really shows that you know little of it from your comments you surely need education
I can watch Sonny 24/7 in the background. This show doesn't get old, it's colorful, informative and Sonny is hilarious. Another great vid!
This is most of the best series so far. I really loved how welcoming Mpisi and his family were and the simplicity of the guy who lives almost completely off grid. Vey great documentary.
Mpisi is almost 80 and has the energy of a teenager… insane… guy seems like an amazing human being full of wisdom
I love the way he speaks too, id listen to him just talk about life all day.
when he says he walked 10 miles to school when he was young I believe him.
love Zimbabwe!! 🇰🇪 🇰🇪 🇰🇪 🇰🇪 🇰🇪
Umm that's the wrong country that's not how Zimbabwe's flag look like
Garcia is so amazing and Zimbabwean 🇿🇼 people are so welcoming and have a great culture.
Sonny bless you and your crew. Thanks for being kind and thoughtful and showing this to Vincent by purchasing a cow for him.
Please continue the great work. I've been watching you for years. I plan to continue. Bless up 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Their culture and traditions are like the Kisii people of south western Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪. Our host is so beautiful 🌹🌹❤
I am Kuria and I was relating with the first host because that's exactly what we do at home. From the impromptu village party to the tripe being cooked. I could close my eyes and think I was home. Even how they cooked the brown saadza...ugali.
Kenya and Zimbabwe what is the difference? No difference
I loved this one❤❤❤. (Sonny dancing was hilarious. ) But he connects with everyone. Love his energy and enthusiasm. Zimbabwe is amazing. ❤
Gracia was awesome!!! She was a perfect host..,. She needs her own platform.
Zambia and Zimbabwe have very similar food, so this was a trip down memory lane for me! Great video and the sound engineering was pretty good on this one too! Great content - Thank you!
Most if not all southern countries have the same food culture.
We do
Lots of love your way Sonny for buying Vincent a new cow.
Love the dance off. Uncle and Sonny were getting down. Awesome documentary full of great people and food and lots of laughs. Great job Sonny and the BEFRS with another awesome view of another country and food perspective. Was fun to watch. Great video
Everybody looks so happy just to be alive, I wish more people were like this here. Every day should be a celebration of life.
9-5 stresses you out
Except the cow and the goat
yes and all together. Even in the "home restaurants" they're all sitting around like friends/family. I've never had this and have always felt like I need it.
Great Show Sonny!!!
Waal, Vincent is great! -He speaks eloquently and is full of wisdom. He is well endowed with Indigenous technical knowledge which he uses to support his family. This reminds me of the African proverb which says "When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground."
I am inspired!!!
Thank you so much for buying Vincent a cow. I'm sure it means the world to him and his wife. Seems like such a little thing from America but is so important to them. I have learned to respect other cultures from your show and has opened my eyes.
Another great video from the best food channel. You never cease to entertain.
