Thank you from Oamaru south island New Zealand. Mine just fell off after 12 years. Lucky it dropped on soft soil. I was going to use butyl tape which was specd to do same job apparently. Anyways I'm going to pre install a cheap glass vacuum handle to the inside of glass then tape like you then rush inside to gently tether rope to handle and sinch up till cured.
Awesome video! I’ve got the same ARB canopy on my 2009 Hilux SR, and I noticed you resealed your side window-looks like you really know your stuff. Quick question: the black frame on the right-hand side of mine is peeling, and the shiny metal underneath is showing through. I’ve got another canopy with a good frame, and I’m wondering if swapping the window frame over is a good option. Do you reckon it’s doable? I’d need to keep my current glass because the tint matches. If swapping isn’t worth it, do you think painting it would work? Any tips for matching the original black finish? Cheers for any advice!
Thats right, the sealant substitutes the rubbers that were there. And thank you! This was the first time I tried this style of how to. I have a few more I have uploaded since 🤙

Do you know if you can swap the hole slide windows out and replace with the ? Butterfly ones eg lift up to get stuff out of tray easy lol ..
You certainly can, the whole frame comes out by undoing the bolts from the inside.
