Hello Friends! This week I am starting my Halloween dreams, and getting a head start on what may be what I wear to the Saint Louis Ball in October. I have been talking about wanting a witchy 18th century round gown for years, so I figured what better time to pull out the Scroop Angelica pattern and give it a go! This build will probably be 2-3 videos and here is the first part in which i make the majority of the bodice!
If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and if you are new here, please subscribe and leave me a comment down below to introduce yourself!

I prefer long videos (over 30 minutes) which do not need to end in a completed garment. Intricate sewing and good tailoring are not fast food. Looking forward to Part 2!
Noted! Thank you!
Agree 👍
Me too!
Yup!
Me 38th apparently
I really enjoy the weekly vlogs because it gives us a sense of how long it actually takes you to do these things and knowing that you are experienced at it and it still takes a long time and helps us I think to not feel like we're just super slow.
Right! I can't imagine how any single person could complete a dress in a day!
My grandmother had an interesting prohibition story. More correctly, she was an interesting story. (As a young girl I thought it was normal for a grandmother to teach one how to set up a distillery - in case she ever needed to know. Later discovered that it was decidedly abnormal.) I like seeing you post every week even with projects that take weeks to finish. ...and yes...I watch to the end. Congrats on the new cats. Challenging but so very fun.
I love how much you were smiling while saying you were allergic to new kitties lol
Hahahaha well, they delight me, despite my suffering.
I'm knitting a waistcoat for my husband. I'm using handspun yarn and a pattern from 1890. He's not a vintage fashion kind of guy, so when he said he wanted one I didn't give him time to change his mind. He wants to be able to show off his granddad's pocket watch properly. I watched to the end.
Yes, made it to the end. And I actually like multipart “here’s what I did” videos. They give me something to look forward to waiting for the rest. 😊😂❤
💖💖💖
I registered for a costume course at a local community college! Made it to the end of your video and feeling good about it. 😊 I love the weekly content instead of per finished project because it gives me realistic timelines. Thank you.
Oh I’m very glad to hear that!
Wishing my city had community college sewing classes!!!
The music choices on this video are a VIBE, lol! The dress is looking great, btw! I have no problem seeing multiple episodes of one project :)
I’m so glad you like them!
I enjoy your videos and there is always something to learn despite having sewn for 43 years. Costuming is sort of new to me. I made most of my kids' costumes as they grew up and clothes for the prom and other dances.
I drool listening to what's going on on CA. I grew up around Monterey and SF until the early 80s. Really I'm seriously envious.
Slow progress in sewing the knit top and gauchos. I cut out the pattern for a wing-tip shirt and will make that right after sewing the knit top. As both are beige, I save time and not need to change threads. The shirt is being made from muslin with a slight texture but not too bad and the opacity is what I wanted. I should have both done by Saturday.
I saw a Black Snail wrapper dress circa 1860. I plan on making the working version in black. My sons had it printed and then traced my size and cut it out for me. They told me that they would pay for the cost of the black linen or wool fabric that I've been eyeing.
To the end! I loved Artemis and have listened to it several times. I’m contemplating starting a 50s style dressing gown. A local art supply store has some gorgeous yarn dyed linen that I think would make such a nice summer dressing gown, and it would be a huge upgrade from my current polyester bath robe that I’ve had since college and that has a hole melted in one sleeve from a popcorn making incident this past winter.
I watched all the way to the end while finally sketching a quilted vest that I've had bouncing around in my head for years!! I love having chatty sewing content to keep me company while I work on my own stuff :D
I usually prefer to watch people do things without background music. But I love how you work so hard to find unusual, whimsical music. I like the music you pick. I'm re-reading John Dies at the End. Then I will probably re-watch the movie.
What?! Finish a project in one video...nah take all the time you need, Noelle. I love long and short videos as long as I get my Noelle time.
xoxo's Sandie
💖💖 thank you!
to the end! Always. Longer content makes for better background noise working on my own sewing.
I say that like I do a lot of it, haha. I've made maybe four garments total ever in my life? But I just went to the renaissance faire for the first time, and made a little bodice thing for it, and now I have an itch to make more. Threw an absolutely horrendous skirt together from an old bedsheet, inexplicably got compliments on it? and now am stealing everyone's old sheets. I really credit you, Morgan Donner, Bernadette, and Rachel Maksy for finally giving me the courage to use the sewing machine my grandmother got me as a graduation gift... ten years ago now? It's so helpful to see experts still running into problems and points of confusion, and then working through them, and you and Rachel especially have been key to helping me get past my perfectionism to just... dive in and try the thing. Now I'm trying to figure out an inconspicuous and removable but sturdy way to attach a dragon to my shoulder for the faire.
“Why am I like this?” = because you are creative and so can see all possibilities with the fabric. It’s a good thing. 😊
💖💖
I have a linen gown that’s shot blue and red. Marvelous color!
I have two worn out shirts shot blue and red waiting in my fabric stash to do something worthy of their glory.
Congratulations on the new felines! Back story on them and pix would be fantastic. And the gown is going to be great glad you are just going for what you really wanted, not just another practice which you don’t need.
To the end! 🎉 always to the end 💜
I recently saw videos from two different channels making the same dress - I estimate one took 2-3 weeks & the other 2-3 months, based on number/frequently of videos & comments about timelines. From my tiny little phone screen they both looked spectacular, the biggest differences I noticed was that the slower one fit better & had more detailed trim - it wasn’t a big difference in the videos, but I’d guess it would be more noticeable in person. I know the algorithm doesn’t reward it, but I enjoy multi-part project videos more (no matter the project). Somehow they always feel like the person enjoyed the process more. It also feels less wasteful in a way.
Side note from the middle … I feel like there are 4 requirements for a dress in a day: (1) limited interruptions/breaks, (2) a fairly simple pattern or something you’ve made before, (3) machine sewing everything, & (4) all of the decisions made before you start. 😅
I do English paper, piecing quilts. I use these rectangular magnets that hold the two layers of fabric together while I make small whipped stitches. You might find these useful when you’re sewing your English stitches to put the pieces of lining and fashion fabric together. I do so enjoy your sewing while you’re talking and your RUclips channel overall. Keep up the great work!
TO THE END!!!!!! yay! 1. Excited to see the dress! 2 would rather have the process no matter how many episodes. Things take time, yo ne!
💖💖
To the end!
I have been watching a bunch of stuff on Netflix lately (which is not normal for me). Saw Queen Charlotte, finally. Watched both Ebola Holmes films, which were so much fun. And a great idea for my youngest daughter as a book series that I didn't know about. Also watched most of Vox Machina with my son. It is hilariously fantastic. I have decided the next time I get involved in a book and dice game, my character will need to have a codpiece of holding. I imagine it will work similarly to Link in Zelda games (except in front, rather than in back), inspired by Scanlon and his incredible disco ball style codpiece. Link has an inventory but you can never tell exactly where all these lovely items are kept. When my son was still in diapers he had filled one with change and small toys and told us it was his inventory just like Link had. That may be TMI for some people. If so, my apologies.
Looking forward to seeing how this comes out. I, for one, rather like longer projects that are episodic. I enjoy watching the process over a number of weeks. Beside which, the videos can cover more when they are grouped in a series like that, rather than super edited to cover the whole project.
I'm still hand quilting a quilt I made about 7 years ago. It's obviously my least favorite project; and doesn't see the light of day for 1-2 years at a time. It'll get done before I die of old age-- maybe. Not a great lover of handwork, but I really admire it. :)
I watched to the end because I love these partial-project blogs just as much as a fully self-contained project vid. 🙂
💖💖💖
Such lovely colors. I love the combo of purple and black and halloween (the bestest of the best holidays)! I look forward to it!
I spent a few weeks relistening to a few series by Amanda M Lee (one of my favorite authors, which I'm sure you can tell from how many times I've mentioned her, if you recollect).
I made it to the end of the video ^^. I'll comment on the next thing when I get there ^^
Wow i hadn't finished watching the video and you commented 😅
Enjoyed the video just fine. Like others we are good with a part 2 and 3 if needed for a hand sewn costume. You do you...thats why we're here after all 💗. A solid C is busty 😊 enough. At about 27 min I did a freeze fram and enlarged to see pattern markings and it is like a commercial pattern. That green ruler cool. Im still on my quest to read through the bible in a year. Im at Judges so lots of wars! Interesting so far lol. As for sewing ive been in a good rhythm of 1.5 hours a ( late) night on a tshirt quilt for 5he past 2 months. This one has 27...29 shirts! Dont know if you want to hear about repairs too but i hand sewed the elastic on my nieces UGG slippers new too! Mentioned she might want to go easy w them as basically once elastic is cut it starts to break down. I used buttonhole twist so that baby it Attached! 😂
I’ve always loved longer videos. I listen to you while I sew too. You know I’m always rewatching them. I’ve been binge watching you for 2 days.
I always watch all the way to the end. Have been watching for quite a while now, but don't comment much. And not everyone expects to see a finished costume in one video. I wouldn't mind 30 minute videos 3 times a week. Maybe turn your costuming hobby into your full time job. With movie and book/audio reviews on the side. Also more of the interviews that you did with others.
Watched to the end. While knitting on a shawl. Simple stuff to do when tired from unpacking hundreds of boxes. Yes the move is done, only the settling in to do. Three time zones, 6 days, 5000 kilometres and we are in the new house. I was reading at night on the drive James White's sector general hospital series, an omnibus of his short stories set in a hospital in space.
Keeping tiny humans alive and crocheting a dress for an expat friend's tiny human (they live over there in your area) :) Watching my youtube subscriptions new uploads and resting after two quite active days.
Love to hear about the kitties (I saw that bit at patreon) and you having nice time with them
I prefer long videos. Part or why i subscribe to this channel is to see how the work is made. Especially when i dont know how to do a part of it . Thank you.
Awesome, thank you!
To the end. Never a problem. Currently listening to Laufy's song I Wish You Love. I'm plowing my way through the end of the school year laundry. LOTS of towels and mostly my clothes because I have a massive wardrobe (and still nothing to wear.)
Also, NOW is the perfect time to be making Halloween stuff! I found some purple, yesterday, that I need to get.
To the end. And lawsy that purple lining is a glorious color.
Thanks!
I have been tending my garden, preparing for the rush of canning season, mowing my neighbors' yards(one set just had a baby, and the other's mower died). And I was gifted a crap ton of jalapenos and banana peppers, I'm canning the jalapenos sliced and whole, and pickling the banana peppers sliced and whole tomorrow. Oh and cooking little known dishes from Julia Child's first 2 cook books.
That all sounds like a lot of fun!
To the end! Watching Silo on Apple TV+…enjoying it a lot! Hate waiting for each new week’s episode. Very bingeable…if only we waited till they were all out!😂😂😂
Oh I wish I had waited also!!!
Always love watching these videos as they often confirm something that I (on my own) doubted was right. I have just made a pair of 1790's short stays and made the eyelets by hand (yes I do now have some lessening of sensation in my fingers tips - you can't wear thimbles on all your fingers). But I was concerned that the eyelets were too small, but seeing the size of them on here has given me the comfort I needed - thank you :)
Aw, I smiled so big for you every time you mentioned your new kitties! I know it can feel like a big step to bring in new ones after losing a soul mate kit. But come on, woman! How can you be telling us about new kitties without giving us a glimpse!?
Nice tip on the wax! I've never really bothered to get any, but maybe I will. If you don't have wax on hand, you can also fold the string over the needle and pinch the fold in the same way, which will help with splitting. I do this all the time with yarn. Practically all of my vintage needlepoint kit instructions show this method.
And I was able to watch to the end today! Because I am behind on all of my projects (some needlepoint, knitting a sweater, then sewing a Barbie outfit for myself), and I'm trying to finish a bonus thing for a video I'm hoping to upload tomorrow, so I really needed someone to sit and stitch with. Honestly, I don't know how you do weeklies in the first place, never mind when you finish a whole project! Sometimes I can finish a (much smaller than a dress) project in a week, but then I need another whole week just to edit it. The takeaway: you are at least faster at hand sewing than I am at video editing.
I LOVE the purple inside! It always brings me joy to have pretty linings with my projects, so I am glad you’re adding that to yours! This will be a great Halloween costume! And right now, I am sewing some men’s Civil War shirts for a friend and a wool 18th century gown for myself. Your videos are always great to sew to 😊
I actually like “serialized” sewing videos. I’ve been watching Cathy Hay make the same amazing gown for months now, and I keep coming back. I just started watching your channel, and I will be back for more of this dress! Thanks for the podcast recommendation. I cannot imagine handstitching an entire dress. Criminy! I do not have the patience for that. Kudos, and yes, I watched til the end.
Love the choice of fabric!
- I just finished re-watching Jun Jiu Ling, a period c-drama.
- I am listening to some Ricardo Arjona (a singer from Guatemala), Shania Twain (Canadian country icon), and La Bolduc (famous 1920's-30's singer from my native Québec considered our first singer-songwriter)
- I recently finished writing a Fanfiction in the "Eternal Love of Dream" fandom on Archive of Our Own (AO3)
- I am working on a new chapter for my over 1000 pages long fanfiction in the Jupiter Ascending fandom (also on AO3)
- I am working on an order of cloth toilet paper and period pads
- And I have to sew a gift for my sister-in-law's baby shower this Sunday.
To the end. I am trying to motivate myself to start my next project, which is a suede pirate coat. I've only made one full costume prior to this and that took me ~8 months to complete. Can't wait to see how your costume turns out!
I've been finally beginning to overhaul my underpinnings to actually hit 'go' on an Italian gown I have had Ikea sheets for since...pre pandemic. Which means another pair of stays to bind.
Made peace that I am not the same size I was 7 years ago, and sewing to embrace that now!
Love your long-format videos, it's like a virtual body-doubling buddy when I am in these long projects!
Sweet new cats, will you introduce them???? I am very much looking forward to see the finished dress, but don't stress yourself out trying to get something done in a week, I enjoy watching the process, as long as it takes. Always to the end! Transformers, interesting, I have been hoping to see guardians of the galaxy.
To the end. I am still Spring cleaning. I use the spring weeks to do decluttering. Been watching The Hoarder’s Heart and Clutterbug to keep me motivated. Suffered a health scare in winter and discovered the hard way I am allergic to doxycycline. Been told end of July before I really feel better and get my voice back. Been listening to Dresden files and the other shorter series by the same author. Also, watching some of your older videos when I miss hearing what you’re up to. Of course your travel and museum videos are always great to watch. Keep up the excellent work you do. Never rush to finish. Better to release multiple videos. Murphy’s law always gets you when you hurry.
"Pin it to a ham and haul ass" might be the best sentence I've heard all week. Also, I always watch all the way to the end of your videos!
Hahahaha 💖💖
Long or short videos, I'm always amazed by your seemingly effortless abilities.I love seeing your thoughts process in action. As a visual learner, it makes more sense. Agree with the movie review and the babbling is welcomed. Reminds me of get togethers with crafty friends
I watched to the end! And I don't care if you finish a garment every week--you show parts of the process that some just jump past. So you do you and don't worry what other people are doing. :)
Thank you!
This is a lovely project. Personally, if it's a short project, a single vlog is great. But, for a more involved outfit, I prefer more vlogs because we see more of the process--what's involved, mess ups, adjustments, etc.--with the various parts. CONGRATULATIONS on your new kitten family members!!! Recently read, Kelcey Wilson-Lee's "Daughters of Chivalry: The Forgotten Princesses of King Edward Longshanks" and completely enjoyed it. Am now reading Nick Barratt's "The Restless Kings: Henry II, His Sons, and the Wars for the Plantagenet Crown" and am enjoying it.
"pin it to a ham and haul ass" is the best thing I've heard this morning. Thank you for that. lol - I also enjoy longer videos, because I like to watch my favourite costumers while I work. You're basically like my version of murder podcasts.
ps. to the end n_n
All the way to the end, every time. I like the suspense of seeing how far you get each week. Also I appreciate the agony of every hiccup and snafu, having been there myself. Your vlogs encourage me to keep going. Thank You.
To the end! I enjoy week by week vlogs as well, like Lady Rebecca does as well, you get a much better sense of how long things really take.
As for what I am reading, I just finished The Brothers Karamazov for a bookclub, it took me a month and a half 😅 Next few book choices are going to be short for sure.
Days late but got to the end! Totally never mind when a vlog isn't a complete project. Sets you and the viewer up for realistic expectations!!
There’s no “late”! Everything on RUclips can wait for you!
I'm just babbling at this point....lol! To thecend, always grateful to see seeing content. X
I so enjoy your videos. I watch most of them to the end. I appreciate that you don't hide how long it takes to make things. I like your spirit and your energy. Please keep posting.
Thank you so much!
I don't mind cliff hanger vlogs I also don't mind long vlogs I just love to watch said vlogs. Thank you for what you do
Yay! Thank you!
I watched to the end.
I just finished hand sewing a top for my holiday on Friday because I was too lazy to service my machine
To the end.
Weekly vlogs are cool! But i do know the feeling of wanting to wrap up a project into neat sections. But I do encourage weekly vlogs even if it stops and starts at chaotic places, because that's very accurate to how the sewing process is in real life.
Not much sewing happening here right now. Was intending to seam rip up a dress to make it fit better until I realized I have reinstall the zipper if I change the waist, so now it's waiting for me to not feel daunted by that.
I did make a pair of iron age shoes last week tho. But it's a really simple design, barely any sewing and took less than an hour.
All those shot fabrics were so gorgeous! Can't wait to see the finished dress in another episode or two. And yes, I made it to the end, including the so-called babbling. ;) I've been in the middle of a 3-show run here in WA (3rd one is this weekend! woo!), then heading into my first actual farmer's market with a couple of quilt commissions worked in. I may not be much of an online content creator myself, but it's always nice hanging out with you and my other favorites while feverishly stitching and weaving at all hours. I finally watched 3 seasons of The Equalizer with Queen Latifah
oh i keep wondering if i should watch Grantchester! I hope your farmers markets go well!
@@Costuming_Drama I think you would like it. It is a lot like Foyle's War, but set after WWII. It hits subjects we still deal with now head on.
I'm copying my tissue paper patterns on to print paper and trying to get some stuff together to make my own wardrobe
I am absolutely in love with the concept for this project! That purple black combination is a spooky dream. 🎃🐈⬛It's getting me excited for all the ones I need to get wrapped up in time for Midsummer Scream next month! *squee!* I've been listening to my friends' new podcast, "By Pumpkin's Light". Been really enjoying listening to other Halloween-loving creatives who have different origins of their Halloween passions and where that has taken them today. :) Down below to the end. ;)
I love the longer content as I pop you on while I sew, craft, or clean. Your voice is the perfect tone that I find motivating to get stuff done. "The End!" 🥰 I'm currently gathering patterns for a video series that will probably start on tik tok, in between getting my daughter's dance costumes finished for competitions in 3 weeks
I'm a quilter and therefore very familiar with projects that take more than a week to finish, lol. While I've never sewn a garment myself, I feel like we have a similar way of working (I may have adapted your whiteboard task-list ;)) and watching/listening to your vlogs is the closest thing to a sewing buddy for me, since I don't have one in rl. So yeah, I enjoy every episode, till the end!!^^ Aaaand I'm most likely hand stitching while watching, because it's my favourite way to sew
To the end, always to the end. I love to watch your videos.
Yay! Thank you!
Love that step 1 of the to do list is cut out the pattern and step 2 is read the instructions😀. I read the instructions at least twice before I do anything! And still make at least on egregious error per project!
You are smarter than me 😂
(Also, those aren’t ordered steps… they are just things to be done….)
To the end! I am watching you whilst sewing myself a new banyan, because Summer! I have also decided to take the train off of mu Regency dress because mucky and I have to get it done for Sunday as I am going to a Regency Picnic in Chawton House grounds near Alton - one time home of Jane Austen.
The order of operation list has really helped me. Not just in sewing!
Oh great!
In knitting, when one gets a new set of circular needles with a long, unruly cord it’s recommended to dip it in either a pot of simmering water or to give it a good bath with a hot kettle in order to soften the plastic and straighten it out. I can’t see why it wouldn’t also work for plastic boning.
Watching this from a lighthouse in the Shetlands before I head out to try and find a not-too-well marked broch (and hopefully see some seals). I opted NOT to bring any small hand work with me under the belief that I would totally get computer based stuff done instead (spoiler: NEWP) and watching you hand sew is making me seriously regret that!
I like watching slow and realistic progress with detail over super-cuts of massive work chopped into one video so I love the weekly vlog format!
Making: some writing [monograph stuff], some digital design, and in a few days the inside of a small cabinet of curiosities
Reading: book about early modern women doing alchemy/chymestry/medicine; assorted archaeology articles
All the way to the end. And I might say that I started at the beginning of your videos and have now caught up to your new releases. So I have doubly made it all the way to the end. I’d like to propose that we call the comment section-The Underrealm. Just a thought.
Looking forward to part 2, it is nice to see a realistic vlog of how long it takes to make a garment. I was hand sewing whilst watching, making an alteration to a dirndl skirt that I made some years ago, but then lost inches around my waist so I had to take it in but it has a side zip with the pockets in the side seam line.
Yeah, sometimes to do lists need to include every step in order to get done
Indeed they do!
As soon as you showed the purple lining fabric, I was like “oh, I hope she does a black dress with purple lining and purple accessories.” So I was very happy with your choice, lol. I am so excited to see how this project turns out! Also, thank you for always doing really long, detailed vlogs about your projects. I love seeing the whole process that goes into this type of creation.
Also, Artemis is so good! I just re-listened to it recently, and it is probably one of my favorite audiobooks.
I need to finish the skirt for my hobbit outfit and then start my sorceress outfit, both for Costume College BUT . . . I just got an embroidery sewing machine (Brother SE1900) so I've been rather distracted. Stayed to the end! Have a great weekend!
To the End!
Oh Noelle! I just love your sense of humour! The ragtime for cutting out was such a perfect mix of chaos, speed, and determination. Perfect.
Love your choices. Always, always a source of pleasurable entertainment, learning and companionship.
Recently finished rewatching the complete Bones series. On to Midsomer Murders and reading Patricia Cornwall.
Oh vibes is so good! 💖 and thanks! I’m glad my chaos music is still entertaining people!
To the end! I'm in between a bunch of things and am on the verge of chucking all in a box and discarding of said box. Still not sure how serious I am about this. I like the color combo you've chosen for the dress, and also enjoyed your movie review.
Watched to the end! I love your long videos, they keep me company when I’m sewing.
Today you kept me company while I hand-sew 7 buttonholes on a pair of 16th century pants ^_^
Wonderful!
I use my tailor ham as a clapper too!
Made it to the end. Thank you for keeping me company while I put binding on a quilt. 😊
💖💖
Your videos are the best for hand sewing too regardless of how much of a project you complete
💖💖
To the end 😂 I'm excited to see this finished! Love a witchy black/purple combo.
This really make me want to start mine. I have a bustle to finish first, though 😒
Enjoyed this!
I just got a pacemaker last week, so I'm still sort of recovering. I have a bunch of knitting out... and three sewing projects... Just managed my first "shopping trip" (bus in, taxi out, who knew buying salad could wipe me out so fast!). Am rereading The Goblin Emperor. Trying to rewatch a 40 episode Chinese drama: Lucky With You - am at episode 20.
"You can't pin it to a ham and haul ass." - That's Life Advice, right there. 🤩
Hahahaha
To the end...always!!!!!!!!
Black dress with the purple lining was my choice for you too! Did you say you got 2 new cats? Did I hear that right? If I did, what are their names? Currently walking the picket line. Spent the weekend with my mom on the Central Coast which was nice. Sewing a poet's shirt. To the end.
Pompo and Winchester! I have filmed a chunk of them for another video but I’ll just move that forward so everyone can see them!
@@Costuming_Drama yes please! We all want kitties in the videos.
Watched to the end while sewing my kids some snow pants. I’m sad that we didn’t get to play with the kittens too 😢 love sewing along with the chats.
Wonderful!
Going to a historical clothing fair "Beauty & Fashion" this weekend; hope to see Niki Leam there. So weird that I've followed so many costubers for years now, and this will be the first event I physically attend.
To the end! Today I've been processing apples from my orchard and from rouge picking in ditches and friends yards. Mostly smaller crab apples. Making apple sauce, juice, jelly, apple butter, apple cider caramels, and will do some cold pressed cider this weekend! And made my partner a carrot cake with apple sauce for his birthday this week.
That all sounds heavenly!
Hiya! I got to the end.
I'm new here, and am into sewing and such. I really want to sew myself some stays or a corset, but I have a hard time just building up my sewing xp as I have ME/CFS and have to spend most of my day just sitting around or else. Thankfully I am a good knitter, so I can do that too. I'm currently knitting a second sock. I'm not sure if I want to knit a sweater next, or continue on my sock trend.
I really enjoy watching your process - Your whiteboard and setup and such. It looks like a decent example of how to get stuff done.
I'm currently listening to low impact and free stuff on audible, mostly romance. Mostly due to the ME. Even a stressful book can set me back. But the books are a good distraction. I really love hearing what you're listening to. I really enjoyed Artemis, Did you read Project Hail Mary? That one was awesome.
To the end! I love all the babble, long or short videos are good, whenever you want to post. It's all good!
Yay, thank you! 💖💖
To the end. I wouldn't mind watching you make a hat again.
For some reason, I envisioned a goth Rugrats cosplay… this is good too :) ETA working on Halloween pillow covers… it’s always spooky season in my heart 🖤 EETA to the end, lol
That was my first thought, too! 😂
I like this format as well. You can show more interesting parts and have more time to show the process in depth.
TO THE END!! And looking forward to the next one! I've been thinking about the concept of sewing my wardrobe, and this is a good example of the HARD WORK that goes into it. I'm gonna go watch your goddess dress video, cuz that just caught my eye. Have a good week!
I was just thinking of you!
I saw some zombie fabric @ an in person craft & fabric store. Its not exactly the stuff I think you would work with, but, I still thought of you, with your zombie apocalypse stuff.
Ive been messing with resin and making silicone molds, it's been a learning curve!
Just finished Martha Wells' new book *Witch King* and it's good, deff recommend. As usual its a new fantasy world you have to learn, but she feed it to you slowly enough. I like the characters and the story was interesting.
Oooo that sounds fun! I would love to learn to do that!
To the end!!! About to start work on my shift, again. It's been a year! I'm determined to finish before summer is over 🖤✨
You got this!
Black and purple yasssssss!
I made it to the end, it wasn't a hardship lol.
💖💖
To the end always! You have been keeping me company while working today.
Long time watcher first time commenter. I love your videos I watch them as I am doing my hand sewing and it make me feel like we are friends sewing together. I sew for a living in my basement and often find myself watching sewing vlogs because it helps me feel connected. One day I’d love to see you and say hi. But alas I’m in Canada!
I am currently working on wedding dress alterations. And planning costumes for our community theatres Cinderella. The director wants regency ish silhouette. Aka “I really like the dresses in Bridgerton” 🤦🏼♀️. I’m deciding to be inspired by the regency silhouette but going whimsy with the colours and trims. So if you have any really good regency videos or regency patterns to suggest send me that way! I also love upcycling garments into new things so I’m using old prom dresses and brides maid dresses for patterns. Wish me luck!
Hi! Nice to “meet” you!! 💖💖
Love your white board. I am never that organized. I have a list in a notebook of projects i want to do. Working on it
To the end! :D
I also did a Ted Lasso rewatch! Just so good!!
