This episode was amazing in all terms !! However, one observation is that they hinted Luke presenting himself again on Ahsoka's Series that is coming out and maybe there they will show when they meet for the first time and have a real discussion about Anakin. That would be awesome!
It's funny Hector brought up making another Anakin Skywalker, when he was originally rejected because he was already too attached to his mom. By ignoring their own rules and accepting Anakin, they were ultimately proven right. He was too old and too attached to be trained as a Jedi. Now, that "attachment" lead to him turning back to the light, but it was also after 3 decades of genocide.
First thing I thought when he said that. People focus on Anakin and forget they had hundreds if not thousands of Jedi(for hundreds of years) that the ways of the Jedi worked for. Saying well this outlier or two went bad means the whole system is wrong is silly. He and others think this because they are attached to the characters like Anakin, only showing how attachment can and does cloud one's thinking.
@@supremeio5930 it sort of worked as many Jedi fell to the dark side because of the no attachment rule . Not learning how to have healthy attachments directly lead to the down fall of the Jedi as they were seen as strange or aloof by the common people and why the purge wasn’t seen so bad by most . If Anakin was taught how to have healthy attachments and relationships he would of never of fallen to the dark side
@@jewsco ?? Again hundreds/thousands more over centuries DID NOT fall to the dark side. Those that fell couldn't live up to the Jedi code of no attachment, because THEY were weak not because of the rule. No what lead to the fall of the Jedi was them going AGAINST their own rules and training a boy they said was TOO OLD because he would not be able to let go of their attachments. And they were right. People "accepting" the Jedi purge because they were seen as "strange and aloof" doesn't have anything to do with their code and only speaks to those people ignorance. No if the Jedi had followed their OWN RULES and not trained him he would not have fallen to the dark side. Even with what you deem as "healthy attachments" the idea that Anakin with his weak will would not have gone dark after his mother was killed is NONSENSE and only shows that people that think this are letting their attachment to these characters blind them. Anakin going to the dark side is because Anakin couldn't and never would accept "no attachments" the very reason the Jedi council DID NOT WANT TO TRAIN HIM originally. It is solely on Anakin he fell.
Finally, the full scope of the SWU is being explored in live action. The well is deep, and beyond simple fan service, it opens up so many exciting possibilities and great storylines. It looks like the future of SW is safe for now. It can’t all be TV though, what are the implications for future tent pole franchise movies? It’s fascinating that still, in 2022, the real appetite is to expand characters’ stories that are now dead for the most part from the original trilogy. Literally no one is interested in seeing what happens to Finn, Po, Rey or Kylo Ren, a testament to the failures of the producers’ vision. What’s also interesting is that SW’s ongoing success comes from emulating serialised sci fi like Buck Rogers, which influenced the New Hope.
When they're done with the Pyke Syndicate conflict, it opens another plot point for Boba: facing Crimson Dawn. The showdown on Tatooine is just the beginning of something greater, Boba is gonna need to perhaps go to Nar Shadda or Nul Hutta to deal with the Hutts, bec having the Hutts on your side changes everything. Din is going to go to Mandalore while Ahsoka is going on a trip to find Ezra and Thrawn. I feel like this entire theme will be packed in the Obi-Wan Kenobi, about the Force, his relations and experiences with Mandalorians and bounty hunters, crime syndicates and unexpected entities
Loved this episode so much and the musical cues are fantastic. The theme that Ludwig Goransson composed for Luke in that episode of Mando is called "A Friend" and it's awesome!

Watched the patreon full length yesterday and I'm sitting in an airport on a layover like yeah, I 100% gotta watch the edited version too. You guys are a blast to watch Star Wars with.
That would be SO SWEET. Even IF We still end up in that atrocious ST era, IF We have more Skywalkers in existence, post-The Fall of The First Order, I'll be happy. I'll just simply ignore Episodes VII thru IX, and pick up the story 40 or 50 years later.
@@anthonyyoutubefan7567 Really, imagine if the makers of Star Wars ignored the Prequel era, just because the movies weren't well-received. We never would have gotten Ahsoka or Cad Bane or the rest. But no, keep denying there's ANYTHING of value in the sequel trilogy. I'm sure you're right about that. *eye roll*
@@hectorminator Except, Hector, George Lucas was running Star Wars, when The Prequel Trilogy existed. He's responsible for whatever issues SW Fans (including myself) have with that trilogy's rendering. Therefore, no one was going to ignore it...since it was his story. He owned the company, the technology, studio, the IP. I still have negative feelings about The PT...however, I now consider The PT to be more so The Clone Wars, w/ the 3 movies as its outer shell, because the better stories (and characterization) tend to exist within The Clone Wars series (and now The Bad Batch). HERE'S THE DIFFERENCE: The Sequel Trilogy that We got, between 2015 and 2019, was NOT GEORGE LUCAS' Sequel Trilogy. He's said as much, himself. If the creator of this IP doesn't really consider those 3 movies to be his official telling of The Skywalker Saga, why should I, or anyone else who enjoys Star Wars? (And, I really enjoyed The Force Awakens...but, after TLJ and TROS, I can no longer watch it, since it just leads to nowhere good and satisfying.) And, okay, Hector...tell me: From what We're receiving from Jon, Dave, and Robert, how does ANY OF IT emanate from the narrative trainwrecks created by Iger, Kennedy, The Lucasfilm Story Group, JJ Abrams, and Rian Johnson? None of these characters have connections to anything from The ST...That's why this new block of storytelling is working for the vast majority of the fanbase. It's basically its own ST by proxy, and probably sanctioned by The Maker, Himself. I'll put it this way: There is WAY MORE classic-yet-original George Lucas-style storytelling going on within The Favloniverse, than there ever was during the making of Episodes VII thru IX. Hell, it's 2022, and there are STILL comics and books being released, attempting to explain the inexplicable, with regards to those 3 films that were welded together. End result: Box Office and merchandise talks. The Mandalorian Saga is doing better overall business than The ST. Nothing from those 3 films has caused a universal stir like Baby Grogu, Darksabers, white lightsabers, and all things Mandalorian. It was a great reaction from you 3, BTW...
@@anthonyyoutubefan7567 Well, you really wanted to write an essay, lol. It's pretty clear you're dumb and didn't see what's awesome about Last Jedi and I don't have the energy (and you don't deserve the energy) to explain it to you. Juts know your logic is bullshit because if it takes GEORGE LUCAS to enjoy a Star Wars thing for you, then you're not allowed to enjoy Mandalorian or Boba Fett, because although he certainly visited the set, he had nothing to do with those shows creatively. You just like them because you think they ignore the Star Wars you don't like. And you didn't get the point of my comment at all.
Yo, salute to you Hector!!! I've watched a bunch of different reactions for this episode and you are the ONLY one who caught to reference to Lone Wolf & Cub at the end when Luke is making Grogu choose between the light saber and the Beskar armor. Also there is a short fan made web comic by an artist named "Princepsed" about when Ahsoka and Luke meet for the first time and they talk about Anakin Skywalker. I wouldn't be surprised if Filoni drew inspiration from this as a number of people tagged in the initial post. You can look it up online, just have your tissues at the ready.
Let's talk about the fact the Boba fett only made a cameo IN HIS SHOW🤣 the book of Boba fett and how about cad bane he looked so amazing in live action👏 😍
It’s only called boba fett because if it was called mando season 3 then people woulda been pissed if mando didn’t show up until episode 5. It’s basically all the same just different titles depending on who is the main focus. Ashoka will probably have 1-2 episodes dedicated to mando/boba/Luke/ thrawn/Ezra.
You need to start looking at the future of these stars wars stories differently, this obviously was the most pivotal episode ever, showing so many iconic characters crossing over their story arcs!! Bloody brilliant method which the MCU has used also and they didn’t make the number 1 movie franchise in the world for nothing!
Luke, returning Grogu to Tatooine, and getting drawn in as Fett's calvary, is the kind of full circle role reversal, and awkward reunion, I want to see. "Sorry about the pit thing Boba." Give us some Master Skywalker in action. This is what we always imagined.
This was a great episode. Loved the interaction between Luke & Grogu. Did you notice that the Jawas had the skull of the Krayt dragon that was killed in Episode 9 of the Mandalorian and the bar in Mos Pelgo had the rib cage of the Krayt dragon?
I like that these post-ROTJ shows aren't doing a stright "strike the sequels from canon" like a lot of vocal Star Wars critics wanted, but they're taking stuff and bridging gaps to make the changes that were made seem more cohesive. Luke giving Grogu an ultimatum saying that he'd be forsaking the Jedi way makes his rant in TLJ about how the Jedi system is flawed that much more powerful. It shows some real character growth which wouldn't have happened if these shows didn't exist. These are about far more than filling in bullet points of context about where Boba was or how he survived, but it's about bridging these characters in a really cool way.
I've never seen Cad Bane before, but his voice gives off huge Lee Marvin vibes. Like from "The Man who Shot Liberty Valance" and other Westerns he was in. Cool villain. I wonder if he sees in an infrared or other spectrum with those eyes, so he can see exactly where to put the shot. Make him even more deadly than a humanoid.
I have admit that this 56 year old dude wept guys! Wept for what Star Wars means to me, wept for what I was seeing on-screen and wept for what delights can only come moving forward in all of Star Wars! It's as if someone found a giant Star Wars dot to dot book and Dave Filoni said,"Give me that, I'll fill in the dots!" I was physically and mentally melted after this. A happy goo of Star Wars!
Man-Oh-Man! I love you guys! You are just like I was with my friends (before Covid) when we would get together. It makes not seeing them over the last couple of years a lot easier to deal with. Thanks!!
Bryce Dallas Howard gave us episode 5 as the appetizer, Dave Filoni gave us episode 6 as the main course. Cad Bane was the dessert. What a great time to be alive.
You three are the only reactors that feel pure and have respect for the cast n crew / Tech etc. and of course the lore of star wars. You guys are the best 👌✨
Dave Filoni is a wizard. I've watched the sequels, but I felt nothing at all, it was empty, hollow. I keep watching the Mando and Boba and I have emotions I thought I would never have again watching a Star Wars show. This is wizard.
Glad I'm not the only one who sees the sexual tension between Cobb and Din 😂 Then again Pedro and Timothy are the type of actors that have sexual tension going with anyone on the screen at all times 😂
Grogu is the lead of the future. I think because he can live so long, all this mandoverse stuff will eventually lead to a time after the sequel trilogy and grogu will meet Rey at some point
Something set when Rey is in her 40s with a Palawan or two, and Grogu is there and old enough to be talking and doing more force things could be really interesting. Maybe Finn could be in it as well as a Jedi. Finn teaching Grogu, that would be a great duo. That could help redeem some of the junk in the Sequel Trilogy.
An important thing to keep in mind about Grogu is he is not an old man. He is a toddler, who ages slowly. It took him 50 years to be 3 years old. That's why more than one Jedi trained him at the Jedi Temple. They got old.
Very cool that Bryce gave you a shout out. I really enjoy watching your reactions. It reminds me of how I, my younger brother and brother in law would be if we lived closer to each other and watched together or had an online watch party.
Can you imagine how fast the war would be over if Boba hired the Jawas? The Pykes would get out of their vehicles looking all badass, they'd look away for 2 seconds, look back all their rides are up on blocks, pieces scattered all over.

There's no way this isn't a false test to see if Grogu makes the same choice he did when Yoda gave him an ultimatum in ESB.
@@scienceandponies They might not be able to do that bcs Last Jedi already pointed out, that Luke is frustrated with Jedi dogma and that it needs to die.
As Vader would say "Impressive."
I'm gonna put aside my feelings on the fact that Boba hasn't seen much screen time the last few episodes because BoBF S1E6 is seriously some of the best Star Wars I've seen in a long time. I was smiling and in tears for most of first half of the episode. That ending was bonkers
i feel the same. if this series even had 10 to 15 episodes, having two dedicated to others wouldn't feel so weird. THAT being said, i enjoyed the hell out of this episode, it was so good.
I believe there was quite a number of grown aśś men crying whilst watching this episode
:P
Wow, this is fast! But I’m not complaining. I was waiting for your reaction. Love this episode so much. I cannot even function after I watched it.
This episode was one of the greatest episodes of all time it was nice seeing ahsoka Tano and Luke Skywalker had their moment when ahsoka told Luke you're just like your father and made the entire Star Wars community get emotional at this scene and also it was nice seeing Cin Drallig and his padawans trying to protect grogu during operation nightfall they did amazing job making Cab Bane First action live screen.
This Episode was amazing…freakin’ Cad Bane ya’ll! What?!?
Love how Filoni just tied all of this stuff together and it’s beautiful! Here is what I want to see in the Ahsoka series…WHEN she finds Thrawn, we get BOTH Ezra Bridger and Eli Vanto. Now we’re starting to tie some of the great stories from the novels in, too.
Damn, I love this stuff.
The droid sounds to bleep the F's! So good.
Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational Starwars universe.
"I'm an old friend of the family" - That line hit me more than anything
Been waiting for this all night. They are gonna shit themselves over Cad Bane.
Bro! I thought the SAME THING! I could not wait to see their reaction
this episode was literally the avengers of star wars LOL
(cobb vanth better be ok... I need that cowboy BACK)
I loved how you were all so fired up about all the fan service and moments, even BEFORE Cad Bane showed up.
Also cracked up at Adam's unedited comment at 13:37. Missed one there. 😀
That was my one-time PG13 approved f-bomb.
@@HeroesReforged It was totally justified to keep that in. I think we all were saying it anyway.😀
Adam's reaction to Ahsoka and Luke interacting made me tear up! Love you guys. Best guys! 💕
The way Adam's eyes lit up when he saw that silhouette in the distance. That's how I reacted as well! Love it!
the look of terror on cobb’s face is explanation enough of how dangerous cad bane is. and also, cobb is 10000000% alive. cad nicked him in the shoulder. if bane wanted cobb dead, cobb would be. bane never misses.
8:42 the catch in Pedro's voice there...man that's some beautiful acting. We can't SEE his face and yet we know what it looks like in that moment.
Adam nearly quoting Anakin...
"My heart is beating!" 😁
This episode was so satisfying!!!! Enjoyed the reaction guys!! 💪🙏🏽
This episode is some of the best Starwars stuff I've seen in years. The sequels we've never got back in the 80's. 😢😊🏆
This episode was amazing in all terms !! However, one observation is that they hinted Luke presenting himself again on Ahsoka's Series that is coming out and maybe there they will show when they meet for the first time and have a real discussion about Anakin. That would be awesome!
This episode was insane! It was like a pilot episode of Mando S3
Whoaaa. Great point!!
@@supremeio5930 Thank you!!!
@@pnut3844able If by retcon you mean erase, they won’t.
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys; your channel is one of the big influences on me to start doing my own reaction videos for these episodes and for future series. It's great the way your level of fandom comes out everything, and you don't even bother to play it cool - you just freak out like the rest of us. Keep 'em coming!
Watched the patreon full length yesterday and I'm sitting in an airport on a layover like yeah, I 100% gotta watch the edited version too. You guys are a blast to watch Star Wars with.
The whole star wars community coming together in one voice , to scream “ Kill the Deputy instead!!”🤣
If Leia shows up and tells Luke she and Han are expecting twins and we just multiverse this without talking about it, I wouldn’t be mad.
lol nope
(And, I really enjoyed The Force Awakens...but, after TLJ and TROS, I can no longer watch it, since it just leads to nowhere good and satisfying.)
And, okay, Hector...tell me: From what We're receiving from Jon, Dave, and Robert, how does ANY OF IT emanate from the narrative trainwrecks created by Iger, Kennedy, The Lucasfilm Story Group, JJ Abrams, and Rian Johnson?
I've seen several people do that. Except in LW and Cub case-it was Daigoro dying, or going on the trail of hell with his father. Bit different here.
This is the Star Wars you've been looking for.
Those smiles in your thumbnails radiate joy and happiness.
Loved all the reactions…especially Adam’s reaction. 😂
I literally just finished watching the episode. I'm so excited for your reaction!!
HA! When Adam said with 10 min to go that he thought he might have a heart attack, I thought….give it another 5 min, partner. #CadBane
Thanks!
Very kind of you. Thank you!
@@HeroesReforged Thank you for the content. I am a fan.
I like how they bleeped out every f word except the one for Cad Bane lol
I have admit that this 56 year old dude wept guys! Wept for what Star Wars means to me, wept for what I was seeing on-screen and wept for what delights can only come moving forward in all of Star Wars!
It's as if someone found a giant Star Wars dot to dot book and Dave Filoni said,"Give me that, I'll fill in the dots!"
I was physically and mentally melted after this. A happy goo of Star Wars!
I didn't even know who Cad Bane was when he showed up, but the show effectively translated the fact that he is pretty effing terrifying.
Thank you for acknowledging the lone Wolf and Cub reference!
I cried during this ep. Almost thought I'd have a heart attack w/ last two eps. Thanks for what y'all do. Take Care!
You three are the only reactors that feel pure and have respect for the cast n crew / Tech etc. and of course the lore of star wars.
You guys are the best 👌✨
Gentlemen, this is how you do a fanservice...
There are even references to dune with the phrase "the spice must flow"...
Master piece.
Today's Book of Boba Fett episode was like a little Multiverse Of Madness happening in Star Wars.
Dave Filoni is a wizard. I've watched the sequels, but I felt nothing at all, it was empty, hollow. I keep watching the Mando and Boba and I have emotions I thought I would never have again watching a Star Wars show. This is wizard.
"This episode could end right now and I could die happy" if only he knew what he was about to see
Glad I'm not the only one who sees the sexual tension between Cobb and Din 😂
Then again Pedro and Timothy are the type of actors that have sexual tension going with anyone on the screen at all times 😂
I like that Bane uses designated parking while on the job.
Imagine force ghost Anikin telling Luke not to repeat the mistakes of the Jedi when it comes to Grogu.
Ughhhh I want a dooku with young qui gon show
Grogu will choose neither, therefore he earns both.
5:20 "If you learn the ways of the Force, you can have ALL the frogs."
Boba Fett and his team are in for rough days when Cad Bane is involved
I'm so dig'n you guys and the love. Emotional rollercoaster, right? 😆. I've been giddy for days!! Subscribed.
The reaction to seeing Cade Bane has me rolling 😂😂😂😂 SAME
Can you imagine how fast the war would be over if Boba hired the Jawas? The Pykes would get out of their vehicles looking all badass, they'd look away for 2 seconds, look back all their rides are up on blocks, pieces scattered all over.
Hey! Boba had a cameo in his own show! AWESOME!
Adam is me, my brain melted by the end. So many things I've always wanted to see, heck my brain can't process Ahsoka saying the words "Master Luke"
When Hector said the Lone wolf and cub reference i was so happy.
If Mando and Grogu do not get to hug each other again, we riot. RIOT.
