I love how when Grogu broke the training bot Luke said Good. It shows that he's training Grogu with true balance.
I hope Ahsoka's series gives us the one thing we've never gotten, Luke finding out who Anakin was from characters that he was intimately involved with. I didn't even realize that's what was missing until this episode.

Yeah, that was apparently a conclusion that Yoda came to after everything fell apart. And it was how Kenobi addressed things with Luke and Leia. Cal Kestis too, now that I think about it.
Before, every child born in the Republic was tested for Midiclorians and if they were above a certain number: straight to the Jedi for adoption unless their birth family refused.
Luke wants the prospective child to choose and the Force to send them. He couldn't handle the massive numbers of students anyway.

28:52 “Can you just imagine…” I love that through Ahsoka Luke could finally get to know his father in ways that Obi-wan barely touched on. Ben and Luke didn’t have enough time together, and the details were fast and shocking - not a navigator? A Jedi Knight in the Clone Wars? A great pilot and friend? That didn’t scratch the surface. Ben died, Vader revealed their relationship, and Luke was left all alone to doubt everything Obi-wan had told him. They had their chat on the log, but that focused on what Anakin became and the bombshell of the sister reveal.
So, through Ahsoka, Luke could finally hear how great his father was from the one who was arguably closest to him. She wouldn’t need to speak in certain-point-of-view obfuscations - she could tell him like it was. What a gift.

I know I am getting greedy - but can we all agree that we would not mind if Disney+ drops "Ahsoka and Luke meets for the first time and share memories of a man they both have been attached to" as a 60 minute episode 6 outtake on Friday?
In terms of two people being connected by destiny - that would count as one galactic-sized walk down memory lane while filling in the blanks for each other. Because I know they had this conversation as Ahsoka dropped the "your father" joke on Luke. I do not think I have seen either of them that peaceful in their own skins and minds and memories as during that tiny clip that we got. I want that "let me tell you about your father as a young man/let me tell you about your master at the end of his life" conversation.

This episode may even top Mando season 2 finale. Cameo & guest appearances all over from Cobb Vanth, R2, Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Cad Bane, Yoda's Green lightsaber & a 501st Operation Knightfall flashback. My jaw dropped when I saw my favorite battalion again. It was fantastic seeing Grogu training with Luke, like how he trained with Yoda & Luke teaching Grogu everything that he learned from Yoda, seeing Ahsoka again & knowing that Ahsoka & Luke know each other & she's probably told him all about Anakin. Seeing Luke do Saber training was awesome & I knew that was Cad Bane right away from the hat & trenchcoat & knew Cobb Vanth stood no chance. I freaked out seeing Yoda's green lightsaber again, as I always assumed it was lost after Yoda's duel with The Emperor. This episode was nonstop amazing from start to finish & I'm still trying to process everything I saw during the episode. Brilliant episode. Best content since Revenge of The Sith.
