Great looking watch and right up my alley .It's crazy how we rave about a quartz that hits it's marks but for some reason it's rare nowadays so great job citizen.
That is an impressive piece of kit.. I have just had my first experience with citizen, my father in law came home yesterday, he has been in hospital for 4 months with covid, I bought him a citizen eco drive as a welcome home present, nothing as complicated as this, but I am very impressed with it, built really well, second hand hits all the markers and looks great.. Hopefully he will be mobile enough to keep his regular watch, a seiko kinetic, powered up soon.
RX-GPS should get your time zone. DST/SMT has to be changed manually because it is not contained in the GPS time signal, compared to the atomic/"multiband" time signal.
Is the blue lume on the numerals and markers on the Citizen Promaster Land CC3067-88E watch equally vividly bright as the blue lume on the hour and minute hands on that watch or is it subdued in brightness compared to the vividly bright lume on the hour and minute hands on that watch? Digital photos and video can misleadingly indicate that lume on markers and numerals on a watch dial are equally vividly bright as the lume on the hour and minute hands on a watch when in reality the lume on the markers and numerals is subdued in brightness compared to the vividly bright lume on the hour and minute hands on a watch.
I purchased the Citizen model CC5006 06L Satellite Wave.. You would have expected that when daylight saving hour's kickin' that the technology of 2022 would allow the watch to adjust the time accordingly..Lol..but No so all the Hype is a waste of space...I have to manually set my watch to a different zone not my state to get the correct Time during daylight savings times...Go figure..my cell phone changes automatically you would think if this is a big selling point it would work on the same principles ..May be I should go back to a wind up Fob Watch and Two bake bean cans and some tight string.😆
Radio controlled watches adjust time every day at a fixed hour...do these also search for GPS signals at a certain hour every day to correct itself? Or should we do the sync every few days/months? I can see citizen says it's accurate upto 1 second every 100,000 years so without auto sync every day, this is just another quartz with upto +/-15 seconds/month.
I grabbed a Citizen World Time GMT Bi-Directional bezel in PVD, Eco-drive from the Promaster series and it’s a incredibly well built piece for a solid price from Japan. Can’t say enough about these Eco-Drive Promasters, especially in PVD w/ a stealth Erikas Originals on it. Big fan of these Citizens. Thanks for the video RR.
I agree. I have had many Citizen watches and they were all very solid. A friendly who loves Seiko sold me his SKX, and I’ll be honest, compared side by side the Seiko is not that great at all. On its own it is a wonderful watch, but I’m convinced in my opinion that Citizen watches even in the lower and middle tiers feel like very high quality items.
I have just got a citizen satellite watch with the same Module it nows exactly were you are in the world when you press the top button but you after to set day light saving time manually for your time zone if you press and hold the lower button it will update the time quickly in your zone you only have to set the time zone manual if you can not pick up the gps signal sum reason
Its nice but I'm more excited by the new Seiko Astrons that just came out. The SEIKO ASTRON SBXY017 with its Dual time zones and red, black and white color way is sexy AF to me. I sure hope simebody gets that in for review so I can figure if its worth saving up for.
I bought this watch almost 4 years ago in Tokyo. It a very good watch.

Citizen watches are so reliable, well built and will not let you down.....very nice watch!
I have a Citizen radio controlled watch( not GPS). And I love it. Although it only auto syncs at night. It still is a great watch.

The crown is large but good looking unlike on more expensive IWC or other

Great looking watch ... funny to say that it's "simple" in its "complexity" 😉
Thanks for sharing.
I got rid of my Citizen Skyhawk for some dumb reason. I love their upper tier pieces - generally underrated.

I almost pulled the trigger on the green one last year, and now I am thinking about it again
Do it. I love that watch. It's the one I wear most often. There's a peace of mind knowing it's dead on to the second accurate.

I just picked up one new from Sakura with the silver case, and rubber strap for $691. These are JDM models now. Outstanding piece.

If your a Costco member it’s cheap at 499.00. They have green and this one.
finally! been longing to see a video of this watch (aside from mcmahon's).
i just hope they also had the two pushers with screwin protection
I wanna get this watch to add to my citizen collection, but I'm going to shop around for best price. I'm a big fan of citizen watches.
That is some amazing technology!❤️
From the video “… here it is next to the much more expensive G-Shock...” ?!
I really like this watch
Congratulations on 50k subscribers , the time of the orange monster is come

I just wish it had an alarm.
I always love watching a Pro-master review. I've been wondering about this watch. Great review.
Very cool but I think I will wait for the price to come down.
now is the time
Price please?
Sakura has the silver case with rubber strap new for $691

Thank you my friend...
Chronograph function would have made it increadable
6:46 the price
Jeff is on a purge.
Alas It's not a Diver.
If they made it in silver and the other models were not a weird gaudy illegible design I would love to get one.
It doesn't have a light? Forget it. Buy a G-Shock.
Wut? lol. Sounds like this is much too sophisticated for you.
Much too thick and heavy for a quartz. I wouod like a slimmed down version of this, as it looks good.
It has a 44mm case and a GPS module...what did you expect?
Don't like black. Looks like it's made of cheap rubber, seriously.
