I have the blue version, I love it too.
Oh wow a blue! Is it kind of a bright blue or dark? I loved how this one has a bright green it really pops.
The coils/springs could be antennas maybe? But I think the GPS antenna rather will be a pcb one, so perhaps the coils are only decorative, indeed.
I think you could be right about them being antennas. Or perhaps help with reception. I'll research it more and post anything I find out. Thank you for the comment! (Either way they look cool as heck).
