Beautiful. I have the exact same Satellite with a black face & bezel which I love for its super-fast synchronization. If I had to do it all over again, I would get the blue face, but I did get a spectacular bargain on the lightly used one I have now.
I’ve had this model for four months now and I love it. Can’t beat it for accuracy. The main comment I have is about the blue dial color. If you are expecting a true blue dial….you will be disappointed. Under normal light conditions, the dial will appear to be black or gray black. It’s still a great looking watch though.
Hi Josh. Which Blue Angels version did you buy? I got the version with the blue leather band. I'm getting a lot of compliments on it regularly. It is an incredible watch. I also ended up buying Seiko orange monster with rubber strap. I got the Japanese version. Thank you.

Which diver version are you interested in? I just purchased a new Orient Mako USA and the Citizen Blue Angel's Chronograph this week. Both are great watches.
+MAVS DAD WATCH REVIEWS I agree with your comment about the Seiko being more refined than Orient. I prefer the Seiko Skx007 over the Orient Mako USA. I didn't like the hands on the Mako USA as much as the SKX, the movement seemed a little smoother on the SKX and I didn't care for the extra crown on the Mako. I purchased the Citizen Eco-Drive CB0030-56E in Titanium a couple of weeks ago and that's a phenomenal watch also. It has a large clean face with the functionality of an atomic eco drive with Perpetual Calendar. It is a good watch also if you want something that you can wear on any occasion. New subscriber. I enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work!

The fact that you need to take the watch outside to get a GPS signal is not practical. What's your thought of that? Thanks gain for the great review.
Truthfully, I wish this watch would update 6 times a day. Truth is it will update after 6 days of no sync. Still, this isn't bad. It's a great product.
If it did update 6 times a day, then the battery would be hard to keep charged, especially if you are talking about the RX-GPS mode. Running that 6 times in a row will usually take the battery down one level.
Does your update on its own after 6 days? I have the same watch and I'm struggling to get it to update on its own at all. Seems to be only updating when I force it.. I know about the 4 conditions and I'm meeting them all and it wont auto update.

I would assume that after the first try was successful it doesn't try anymore. When I said "6 times" I meant that it tries after 6 days if it hasn't received any time info.

In my opinion, this is kind of a useless "auto update" feature. I feel like they just want to be able to say it auto updates. It's true. This is amazing watch. I really like it a lot,but there is no alarm. Not even one. Why Citizen? ! You and me,we know why, but you can tell also to the others.
Samson the Astron is of much better quality, in my opinion especially the clear coated crystal. however, the Astrons band is made in China which kind of put me off. this citizen is completely made in Japan which I opted for. got the black version though.
One more thing, the crown does have a useful function, if you pull it out to the first setting the second hand goes to the city of your current time zone, you can then just turn the crown to make the second hand go to whichever city you want to change the watch to, push it in and your watch will automatically set to that time zone.
Is it possible to wear the Rubber strap which comes in the model Citizen satellite Wave CC3007-04E or CC3005-18E in CC9015-54E.??? Anyone pls let me know.
Anyone notice how Seiko appears to copying this watch with such models as the Seiko Sportura GPS Solar watch 8x22-0AC0 / SFF077J1, and the SEIKO SSE105J1 ASTRON GPS Solar Novak Djokovic Limited watches. This Citizen model CC3005-85E, and more importantly those with the F150 movement is considered the perfect travel watch. The Seiko's do have a higher price point, but it's definitely not better than a Citizen

You are correct. The RX-TME needs only ONE satellite to give a TIME update. The RX-GPS needs TWO or MORE satellites to give a TIME and TIME ZONE LOCATION update. That’s why it takes longer to process than the RX-TME reading.
Sold my Citizen Atomic watch to buy this. Wish I kept my Atomic. Why? 1) Atomic adjusts automatically for daylight saving. 2) I didn't have to point it to the sky every few days to calibrate. 3) It was half the price. The GPS makes for only nice 'Jewellery'.

Can you “power off” the watch when not in use in order to put less wear on the mechanism over time? do you just stop the watch?

It has a 23mm lug width actually. An odd size for aftermarket straps.
