I got my beauty whilst on holiday in Vegas....Citizen Watch Southside shopping mall...great folks ...took their time to help out filling in warranty etc...really professional while helping my missus choosing hers...( I'd already set my mind on this one).... Dont get me wrong....we're just a hard working couple that every few years enjoy a treat....we can neither afford or would wish to have a multi thousand pound/dollar watch....and after the compliments I've had on my F150 I've no reason to wish for one.... Absolutely fabulous watches...
Thank you for your help! My husband LOVES his new watch! What a gift this is. Thanks for your help in setting it! Keep making these vids, they are helpful!
GPS Location and Time Reception consumes a lot of power, no matter what device you take for example, you expect GPS to be always active and not use power? Come on man! GPS reception and Time Reception feature serves it's purpose when it is required, that's more than enough, even for watches that are being release today. The price for a precise time up to a mere second is just one push of a button, how much more do you want? How many times do you need to change the time and how many time zones do you change in a month? For me, it's the best watch I will ever own, and if you don't think it's worth it, just don't buy it :)
@@Ajab-Khan I bought it. I change time zones a couple of dozen times a year. Have a couple of citizen waveceptor watches that have served me fine for years. Just wanted to take the step up to GPS not realising it is not automatic. Thanks for the post btw.
Sold my Citizen Atomic watch to buy this. Wish I kept my Atomic. Why? 1) Atomic adjusts automatically for daylight saving. 2) I didn't have to point it to the sky every few days to calibrate. 3) It was half the price. The GPS makes for only nice 'Jewellery'.
Anyone notice how Seiko appears to copying this watch with such models as the Seiko Sportura GPS Solar watch 8x22-0AC0 / SFF077J1, and the SEIKO SSE105J1 ASTRON GPS Solar Novak Djokovic Limited watches. This Citizen model CC3005-85E, and more importantly those with the F150 movement is considered the perfect travel watch. The Seiko's do have a higher price point, but it's definitely not better than a Citizen.
One MAJOR flaw of this watch … not adjusting for daylight savings time. What good does it do to adjust to local time in a foreign country if it's still going to be an hour off. And good luck remembering how to adjust for DST (SMT) even in your local time zone.
Not every country, state or province uses DST so how the hell would it be able to do it automatically lol its reading what time zone your in not what province or state your in ....
It’s not that difficult to do, pull out the crown and press one button. The reason you have to do it manually is because eventually the DST will be phased out across the US
I send my back its really hard to see the numbers and I didn't like the fact that I doesn't illuminate hour and minutes all the way also it was kind of heavy
I like my F150 watch except it’s really ugly and has a mineral glass crystal instead of sapphire. Why can’t Citizen watches sold outside Japan be beautiful?

I am very happy with this watch! It is always correct and is very beautiful! The best watch I have ever had in my life.
Complex and intricate technology
Now I have a promaster diver eco drive and I love it
Excellent watch.

I just bought the CC3038-51E version of this watch waiting on delivery.
Is there any noticable difference to the citizens cc3005-51e?
When I did the RX-GPS OR RX-TME once received the second hand is 12 seconds behind my other watches
So, you still have to mess with the watch to get the time at your location? Why won't this thing do it automatically at such a high purchase price?

@@ScragNath I guess the issue with GPS being power hungry or making it use less power is yet to resolved :)
@@UwUKris thank you, appreciate it :)

What am I missing, why the need to calibrate every few days? I'm used to an atomic Casio so I never worried.
@@jappleton0901 the GPS needs pointing to the sky every few days. The atomic watch does not.

Ready manual or watch video stats you have to manually set day light savings for each time zone.

I guess this watch wold be useless in NYC with all the tall buildings.
Because you mention that ALL TALL BUILDINGS it seems to me that you're in the roof top which is very nice gps signal out there.
