- Another great event from NWCC run with the valued assistance of a local landowner. A challenging road, steep with significant drop offs on the outside and high shoulders to the tarmac making getting a wheel in the dirt a bad option. A chicane was included a few years ago to reduce speed into the 90 degree corner following the feature and ultimately restricting top end speed in the top straight. This was my best run despite the misfires at the end and good enough for 5th outright from 40 entrants and 38 starters. More power required to be more competitive.

You are driving it like a kart. I don't think that you should be doing that, mate. You should be more gentle with the wheel.

So much movement on the steering wheel, just calm down you don’t need to be so jerky with the wheel, you throw it into the corner then because you don’t want to spin you correct the action you’ve just caused straight away. You need to be a lot smoother on steering, this way the car will be more settled in the corners, watching this is like watching someone have ago on a sim for the first time.

Nice driving mate! What is causing the misfire for you? The ebov delay is very noticeable in this vid.
Thanks. I'm still learning the car. Wish I could pinpoint the cause of the misfire. I don't think it is an ecu cut after looking at the logs of the control diagnostic channels. Unless I missed one. I have changed plugs and increased ignition coil cooling. I'll see how it runs this weekend at the Lake Barrington Hillclimb.
@@RamosRev how much boost are you running? I’ve noticed a few people discuss valve float being encountered fairly early, that could cause a misfire. Also possible the ebov timing could be screwing with it, remedy that first and try run stock boost levels.
@@jasondoulkeridis6202 I am basically running stock boost. I have changed the curve so it does not tail off as much as standard. Hoping it runs properly this weekend.
