ANGRY3 the GR Yaris post-crash damage report

A short vlog style video shot in one take (and it shows) giving a run down of the damage sustained by the car following its recent accident which is linked here • ANGRY3 the GR Yaris da... . Honestly I think that a) I was pretty lucky and b) these cars are fundamentally pretty strong. The only items I have had to order new from Toyota were the rear upper shock mounts. The wreckers tell my the rally Yari go through them like they are going out of style. Other parts are second hand or new after market parts. I hope to start putting things back together next week.

Considering the force of that hit I’m surprised there’s isn’t more damaged! Cars are fixable & replaceable lives aren’t. Glad you’re well mate looking forward to seeing it back out!

Crazy to think if this was a road crash and an insurance job the car would likely be written off. Have you disconnected the air bags? If not, surprised they didn't go off. Also, what type of trailer are you running, looks nice.

Yes airbags removed or disconnected (bit of both). Futura Supersport lowering trailer. I love it. I agree that it would likely be deemed an insurance write off. Crashed road cars may be a good starting point for a race car?
