Another good source for rebar is that leftover sprue after you get your minis off of them. No cost at all instead of the cost of cocktail sticks. It’s worked for me at least.
That is a really good idea Jay! I think they turned out great and they have the look of highly damaged concrete. Thanks for sharing this very helpful tutorial.
Thanks, yeah I would do that more often but sadly I am short on space, which means my previous stuff is normally stored in the loft / attic, so getting it all down for a vid can be a pain in the back side. But it doe smake he scene look a bit better. Thanks :)

Thanks, yeah I like showing that actually simple, quick stuff, actually can fit in sometimes just as well as complex stuff. In the uk we have stuff like this used as road blocks some times and I saw one, and I was like, yep that will be interesting.
They are mainly just good for quick and easy scatter for warhammer 40k I think, don't know if it would suit being added but be interesting if you did :)
I only mentioned it in text but I did cheat a little and after I did the brush strokes I actually sanded it back down as I deffo over did the first time. I didn't want my incompetence to ruin the idea of the video! Thank you though.
yeah exactly, I sort of thought I'd be a bit quicker but yeah 30 mins worth of effort, whack it on a table and you have something decent, can't ask for much more. Easily done with scrap xps as well.
These would be perfect for the Gears of War board game as ‘chest high’ walls. Great video! 👍
Heh I hadn't even thought of Gears, but man I spent so long ducking behind things like this in those games. Nice thought :)
Turned out nice looking
Simple, easy, quick, like going on a date with me!

I had never really thought of it, as I play Legion I don't have that much in terms of sprue!
Looking great and quick. Such good ideas around here!
Thank you kindly, I like the result for the speed!

Thanks, yeah I really liked them for the effort put in. I'm always trying to show things can be done quickly or cheaply, ot sometime sboth!
I like that you added them to your previous terrain pieces. This stuff is great!!

Nice quick and dirty build. It's the kind of thing that would look good on so many different boards, too!
Yeah I think so, it's just generic scatter that should work anywehre!

Great method of damaging them with the scraper. Will use that one. Thanks.
A knife or metal ruler would do, I just wanted speed!
also thanks.
So simple, but so cool.

Looks good, ill have to give it a go myself :)
If you have the foam, it's just so easy! Thanks :)
Nice one mate, I like them. Will definitely remember that technique if I do anything they will work with 👍👍

@@TerrainMadeEasy can't hurt to try - will give it a go at some point
@@smallscalestuff Brill :)
Another nice build. I think they look great. You definitely did not overdo the brushstrokes

@@TerrainMadeEasy Shh! We won't tell anybody
@@CampaignTerrain Heh I forgot I did it when I was recording the voice over, but the end result it wasn't obvious, so made a little note an dmove don!
Rather effective for the level of effort :)
