We'll maybe keep an eye out for an extra fine heifer calving next February😊
Don’t think I’m going to calve them, don’t have the time to be there whilst doing my new job!
I was lucky enough to have spent 2 seasons buck rakeing grass into pits ,with a county at 19 ,no cab straight through exhaust ,you slept well aftea a dauy on it .Great memory that was 47 years ago .
I bet that was a hell of a 2 seasons!
Some machine...
@@BackMyPlace At the time Hell now realise was the best time of my life .
Great to see Gus enjoying Dandelion jumping. 😊
My late Uncle that farmed in Hampshire had Ford County tractors but can't remember any model numbers if I ever knew them.😊
I think the popular ones were 1174’s!
Phil is a wonderful mentor for you! great guy
Thank you!
Top man is the Doc!
Awesome
County worked well for that wouldn't.
Like to use it in a confined space.😅
👍 For cleaning and oiling up the machine
Enjoy your holiday 👍👍
You need about 4 acres to turn it around! 😂
That slide rule calculator thing for the vicon brought back memories, not used or seen one for 20 years but was so accurate to use..👍
Old Skool...
It did the job! ☺️
What a great video Josh, its made my day and brought back many memories seeing the County and the good old Vicon Fertiliser Spreader complete with Wagtail. Many an acre I used one of these and no bulk bags in my day, just bags on your shoulder heaved in. Great to see Abi and Dr Phil too and of course the star of the show Mr Gus!
I’m sure it’s done that for a few people! At least I hope it has! A pleasure to be able to enjoy it!
Thanks for watching
Good video Josh you will get a nice crop of silage from those fields
I hope so!
Nothing better than a bit of weekend finance free farming! That county looks an amazing tractor. I’ve got the same GPS, it’s pretty accurate except around large trees
Had the best time out in the county! Such a buzz!
Great to see the county out working 😁 granted, not sure I’d want to spend a day working her but for a an hour or 2👌. If the cattle enterprise doesn’t work out, I’d suggest planting some burdock… dandelion and burdock would sell well😆😁👌
I agree! A couple of hours of fantastic! Haha yeah we have a few!
Nice idea...
Hi Josh what a good old bus. A big difference from big boots, I had a do in a ford county in the day tractors have come a long way and a lot of money. Have a nice holiday take care.
She’s a honey! Great for this and the hedge trimmer! Thanks John!
Nice to see the old girl working
She’s a honey!
Which 1❤😂😂
Great video nice to see Dr. P. Great drone footage Abbi good to see you in the county josh 👍👍👍
Thanks Sandy!
Thanks Sandy
Nice one team. Cutting did you say....looks ready.
Good to see Dr Phil, why the crutches-is that why no videos recently?
He’s torn his ACL in his knee!
@@BackMyPlace very painful, wish him well and say we miss his videos!
Yep.. bad knee.. Got some Dr Phil videos in the can... but not got around to posting! To busy with the boy Josh
@@BusywithDrPhil sorry to hear, look forward to future videos when you are back in full health!
Haha the maths at the beginning looked like hard work, I bet there’s an app on line for that! As always great video, love the drone footage
There is an app that is much simpler! You have to remember we are country bumpkins and make everything seem hard! 😂
Good video enjoyed Abbie's drone footage good to see Phil is on the mend we have a wee vicon shower but I'm not as fancy as you guys I sow with an MF 135 but she does have the same cab and ear muffs are definitely necessary 🙂
I would spread with the 395 but I have no way of loading into it then! It’s great fun in the county anyway!
Rattlin'
You definitely need a clip on mic if you’re recording from the county Josh 😄
Ordered and on the way!
A great video Josh and great drone footage by Abbi That county is a beast of a machine i taught you'd have to do the spreading with no Gps that would have been interesting county tractor and no modern technology
Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one
Thanks John! Just a little guide with the gps! Don’t want to be wasting the fert!
@@BackMyPlace 👍
Straight lines save money!.. thanks for watching
What are the lights you can see from the cab of the county. On the bonnet
That’s the guidance lights for the gps, showing you how far off your guide line you are
Another comment for engagement
Cutting 3 weeks after fertiliser is not ideal????
The amount we put on works out at such little nitrogen it will have been used by the plant well within 3 weeks. Commercial farms would put much more on and wouldn’t be able to cut that early
@BackMyPlace A good wilt in the sun will also help. Best of luck with with new adventure
Whats the gps app youre using in the county?
Ooooh now you’ve caught me out! It might be field bee, but I’m not 100%. I would have to ask Phil to be sure!
@@BackMyPlace that looks about right in the play store, thanks!
She's a honey, you wouldn't say that when you've spent 16 hours straight on it, 🥴
She is! No I would agree! 😂
What breaks my heart is to see a county in such a disgusting, filthy condition, the queen of tractors deserves better
She’s in her working clothes! The best ones for her!
First
What grass that's nearly all dandelion 🤣 fert spreading with a county bit over the top guess got to use what you've got, but mate counties are crap 🤣
We do have a lot of dandelions! 🤦🏼♂️ she’s a honey!
You look like the lad from JM farming on RUclips
Funny that! I’ve heard he’s a top bloke! Great haircut too!
