The fat chocobo mounts, when ur on them, to make them run u dangle gyshal greens from a pole in front of them, when u fly, u dangle a slice of cake …….now all I can imagine is the fat choco doing cake farts…. Which would explain the knockback
I also haven’t touched dawntrail story at all. Been now stop pvp’ing since early access. I came into it thinking I would main viper in pvp, tried picto first just for the heck of it and haven’t stopped since. Picto in pvp seems weak at first cause of long ass casting but you begin to realize the more you paint, the more damage. Just focus groups. Only downside is in a 1v1 situation. Surviving it is easy because of defensives and being able to kite but needed burst is too distant to really get a 1v1 kill
No idea where the cake comes from, but the chocobo summon animation itself looks almost exactly like the fat chocobo summon from the original FF7.

not sure how to play this in pvp lolz but tryed to mimic what your set up is
whats the other keybinds?
What other keybinds? Everything is displayed on screen other than when I have left and right triggers held. That pulls up mounts and return/teleport.
Did you quit XI?

I finally jumped into the MSQ to take a break, not impressed with it so far. A lot of people seem disappointed with it as well.
