why does your game run extremely smooth at 60??? i played XI for the first time, and it runs horrible like 25 - 30fps lol

doesnt work anymore. they disable beastmen seals from level 1 mobs

How I made 1 million gil with a level 1 sword (and at least a level 60 summoner that is geared implying that I've made gil in other ways before making more money).

how do u get your avatars to not have crazy aliasing (or whatever that thing is on horizon)?

Every time I try to play some iteration of this game, getting windower to work is the biggest pain. I follow all the steps, correctly, and it doesn't work. I've tried a dozen different times. All that happens when I click the HorizonXI profile in Windower is it closes itself and never launches.

I remember doing the Windurst version of the quest 20 years ago with 2 SMN/BLM and a PLD/WAR, with a friend who didn't get level capped coming along to clear out the zone rather than bringing sneak/invis. 2x Astral Flow with Shiva/Diamond Dust completely melted the 3 bosses in about 4 seconds.

magic always beats crabs faster then melee. i couldn't go back to lv75 era but i could play old style partys. SE just needs to remove the retail party XP penalty thats why trust win for XP'ing because no XP penalty.

Nobody worries about gil in Horizon. If they need gil, they just go print gil with clamming like everyone else does. I'd rather clam for an hour or two to buy a month's supply of these for inventory space than carry 10 extra tool types for the 3 times a year they're needed, outside of sneak/invis. These tools are for space saving, not for ele-wheel usage. They are used for the rare time you need to debuff something or for sneak/invis with a single tool. RDM debuffs are more potent than NIN and using the ele-wheel is just a severely gimped BLM. The only content that wheel is used is where you don't want to be engaged with dual wield because it feeds too much TP to the mob and you end up using a staff instead (Vrtra, Tiamat, Nidhogg, etc.) In exp parties, crabs are one of the few things that come to mind where it is good to use it but even then, you'll get far better results using Acid Bolts to remove its +DEF buff and nothing can remove its +Magic DEF buff until later in the game. If I recall correctly, NIN used swords in exp parties until somewhere around 50 back in pre-WoTG era too until you unlock Jin. Or maybe it was sword main and katana offhand.

This was the only way SMN could level back in Zilart and through most of CoP unless you found an extremely desperate party that needed a gimped healer because no other healers were available. BLM too once people started to prefer TP burn parties over the standard skillchain + MB party setup. I leveled BRD to 75 alongside a BLM friend during late Zilart era on mostly all IT beastmen pets and avatars. Threnody, Elegy, and Sleep them. BLM used their biggest nuke at the level, sleep, repeat. We had many viable 2 BLM + BRD or BLM+RDM+BRD camps too. You can also do goblins and hope they blow themselves up but it's much more luck based there.

this is great, one thing bother me is the stats being horizontally it makes eye and brain work too much compared to the other, usually stats are vertically. but looking at the option since other place is already filled... its understandable

Yes! This is way better than like 6-7 tabs and then sub-tabs. :) I'm guessing the top right are sequence nodes.

I support this I think theres a little too much information on screen at the same time, that can make people confused on what to focus on. Other than that it looks good, i hope they can redesign the UI be ause the current one that we have is very basic.

Big fan of the echo layout and being able to immediately see every echo's subs and level without clicking each one.

After more then 20 years of playing. Now i only learned about the macro command macroset and macrobook. And still strugging with the copy and paste within the macro menus. 🙈🙈😳

Hello, I'm trying to get back into ff11 as it was once was in 2006. It seen that you are also on Horizons, how was you able to get the settings work for you. I'm unable to get past the split screen, it somehow split my character into two screen as in a copy or mirror of each other.
