This is the story about Team Origen's run in the 2015 world championships. From being in the challenger scene months before, Team Origen went through significant hurdles in worlds to end at the 4th best in the world.
Correction: Neils picked Jinx for the first time in his competitive career in the SERIES against Flash Wolves. I however conveyed that he just picked it for the first time in game 4, when he did pick it first game 3. The Jinx pick was meant as a takeaway from Flash Wolves.

Nice video. Have to disagree on the part where you said most analyst agreed on LGD being the favorites/in favor of winning the whole WCS, tho. Sure, they were among the top teams and one of the teams in favor of winning, but almost every pro player and analyst had SKT & EDG ranked higher, seeing as both had an overall better year coming into worlds. Most people in general had SKT ranked as the #1 team even though they lost to EDG in the MSI.
I hated the juggernaut patch and then the disabling of gragas really messed up pnb but man 2015 world's was so great.
Oh the great momories... the SKT brick wall would just kill any hype at all . With the dream team of faker bang wolf, benji and marin .. hey Origin did fantastic but when legends walk in to get down to busisness you get to know your place quick smart. Imagine being kt rolster .. they knew how worlds how it would end before it even started during that period. Skt built a graveyard of dreams for so long during them years.. almost not fair.

4 years later but the meta shifted BIG time from the finals to worlds. Also fnatic was really screwed with that gragas bugg making the champion unpickable and it was reignovers best champion. I mean it was the year where EU could make finals for the first time but hey they did it in 2018 and 2019.
Up next: the best Worlds run the west has ever shown? I'd love to see a report on that

I do want to say actually if you payed attention that season it was already known by all diehard lol fans that NA was gonna bum at worlds and that Origen was the reall deal. Monte Cristo, European casters and that final in Europe should have been enough for any veiwer to know that Origen was a strong team.
