I try to minimize my waste so I would recommend using that cheap quality thread for maybe a basting or teaching your kids to hand sew rather than just tossing it. This video series has been wonderful.
Such a great teacher. 8 months later; Today is the day I’ve built up enough confidence to use my brand new serger I received on Christmas ☺️. Thank you for sharing.
I just ordered this machine & watched your video to prep for it's arrival. Wow! Great explanations and video angles. 10 minutes ago I was afraid - now I know I can do this. Thank you!!!
I got this serger at Walmart for just $25 on a clearance, the best deal ever, yet it has sat in the box. Since this Covid virus thing now and I wanted to make masks and found a video for making them fast with a serger, I got the serger out and noticed it wasn't threaded right out of the box and wasn't sewing a chain right either, so I knew tying off to put on the new thread was out, so with the help of the video above, I was able to do it (and I didn't think I could!). The discs that came with it for threading was useless as I couldn't enlarge the screen so I couldn't see anything. If it wasn't for the video above and how the lady instructing it showed it all, I would never had done it. Thanks so much!!!
Your video was great helping me learn how to thread my serger. The presser lift shaft broke and my husband repaired it for me. This is the first time ever threading it. I usually tie off. Thanks so much.
Your video is so awesome, with clear concise & easy to understand instructions, demonstrations and the whys and why nots. I was on the verge of putting my machine back in the box in the closet after unsuccessfully for 2 days attempting to thread it. Now maybe I can start to learn how to sew and serge!! Especially having to stay in the house these days. Thanks soooo much!
I didn't get the lower looper (blue) steps for 9, 10, or 11. I'll have to see another video on this, but I am happy that you all posted the series for this serger! thanks! I'll be back for the rest of the video and the other parts of this serger series
Thank you so much. I was able to thread it on my first try with your intructions. You made it seem so simple and it totally was. I'll continue to come back to your videos for help with my serger in the future.
Thank you so much. I watched other videos and still couldn’t get my machine threaded. I found your video and BINGO! I was able to actually see each step you were doing and follow along. Thank you so much! You are a great teacher.
I really, really grateful to you , for this precise threading video . I bought my serger machine on 2017 , by that time I had never found one like what you show to us until today. Thank you very much indeed
OMG! thank you, thank you, thank you. I was sooo frustrated with this machine and haven't used it at all. this video saved me. FINALLY I can thread this machine and start to actually use it.
Finally a excellent tutorial on threading.. I’m saving to buy this machine...I have a Elena and it’s so hard to thread looking forward to other tutorials
Your videos are not only great, but a life saver too!! I have a new Brother 1024D serger, and I'm just learning how to use it. If using the smaller spools of thread for the needles, do you just use "all purpose" sewing machine thread? I've only found serger thread sold online, that only come in cones, that are around 2000 or more yards. Thanks so much for your wonderful tutorials!
How do I watch your videos BUT only the serger brother 1034 VIDDOS ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ Every time I go to play them I have to Hunt Please help me Since you are SUCH A GOOD TEACHER ❣️❣️❣️❣️
I just got my 1034D and that lower looper has been a challenge! I was trying to get it into the part behind where the groove is (now that's a terrific description!). So I've watched some videos and some are saying that when the upper and lower loopers are threaded, the blue lower looper thread should cross over/on top of the green upper looper thread. You didn't do that. I'm wondering if it works both ways. tks!
great series!!! im curious why you didn't mention the little switches above the wheels intended to open the tension plates. its how the manual says you're supposed to drop in the thread while moving switch to the right to open the plates before dropping in?
Dear Sister, thank you so much for your explanation. It is very helpful. I have purchased recently this machine and the sound is so loud. Is there any method to reduce it? Please say something.
Help! Your tutorials are amazing...and it's why I could attempt to thread the machine...but having followed your instructions and everything being great, when I do my test piece the upper looper thread breaks every time after about three inches of serging. I am using Coats Sure Lock....is it the thread???o thanks!
Drop the tension on that looper and see if that helps. The upper looper comes very close to the blade. It could be that you're not quiet getting it into the grove.
I have a question, I recently bought the Brother 1034D and it didn’t come with the spool holders only the circle holders like you were showing for the smaller spools of thread. Do you know if you have to buy those separately? Thank you for your help
I am much less intimidated by my new serger since watching your video. I wish I had watched much sooner. Very nice job explaining the machine. The manual was not very helpful in my opinion. Thanks so much!
Confused - is this just a typo or am I watching the wrong video? The splash screen at the beginning of this video Says Btorher 1043D Series, not 1034D.
Watch all 33 episodes, order a serger, watch them again while you wait and you will ask yourself a week after it arrives "WHY did I WAIT SOOO LONG" BTW Threading is WAY easier than it looks.
I try to minimize my waste so I would recommend using that cheap quality thread for maybe a basting or teaching your kids to hand sew rather than just tossing it. This video series has been wonderful.
You can use it in the lower looper. It’s very forgiving about cheap thread

Great video I just received my Brother 1034DX😆 I wanted to know what thread 🧵 did you use in this video?

Just watched the video and was able to rethread it right the first try! Thank you so much for such a great video that was very clear to see and hear.
I agree, this was my first time threading and worked first time. Great tutorial.
Thank you so much, I'm a visual learner and this made it so easy

Hi, Can I use sewing machine thread on my serger if I don't wanna use all four same serger thread
where can i buy quality thread
Me gustaria que lo tramitieran en español
How do you get the thread through the needle so easily, particularly the right needle?
Not everyone can afford to purchase quality thread 🧵😒
Does anyone know why my left needle won't sew. It's just loose on the fabric.
What was the name of that thread you used?
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you so much

how many that machine cost??
If the lower looper thread isn't threaded through and under the upper looper arm will it stitch or does it need to be fed under the upper looper arm?
TLDR. you can skip to 5:30 where the threading actually starts.
Thanks so much for the video, it has been so helpful!
Sera q no lo pueden hacer el video en español
❤️❤️❤️❤️
nope notcworking for me … so frustrating!
