Flight Duration: 37 minutes
This video is part of my "South America Trip 2013" series. Routing was:
Charlotte-Atlanta-BuenosAires-Santiago-Atlanta-Charlotte.
The MD-88 is my favorite airplane, especially in the Delta livery!
I like it too, it is and remains the only low-bypass jetliner I've flown in!
LOVE THE VIEW AT 17 : 50 beautiful shot of the trees and the landscape
Nothing like MD engines sound.
Excellent shot of the Korean Air A380.
OOHHH!!! That is an awesome sun dog!!!! That is a rare treat! They are at their best on clouds but if you look carefully you can catch them on any surface, even pine trees. Thats way too cool!!!
This was the final leg or trip back home, I guess. Atlanta Hartsfeld is always a mega-busy airport. I have used it once and enjoyed it very much!
loved the view on final approach into charollete loved the foliage of the trees
Nice video. Flew Delta MD88 couple weeks ago will surely miss this aircraft. Subscribed
Your videos are the best. Really smooth landing.
That MD88 next to you was the plane that overran the runway at Laguardia on March 6th 2016
LOL I looked up that registration and then i found it out lol
Thanks for a great video. Just heard they’ll be retired this summer.
I liked the video where you flew over Charlotte Motor Speedway. that was really cool.
Just flew on one with really loud brakes and smelled like burning oil the whole way i do not know if i like the Md-88 but I love the engine sound !
That Korean Air A380 plane is huge
I like the AirTrans in the back round. Nice video
Hits hard after the retirement
Md 88 and 717-200and 757s are my favorite planes reliable
Oh my favorite plane the A380 and in the Korean Air too amazing
I took the same flight but it's from charlotte to Atlanta. Also got on to one of those Korean air A380 from JKF new York to korea.
Nice Video I see This Day In And Day out I work For Delta And the Korean A380 Is The Prize Catch Glad you got it in your video But we Haven't Seen the A380 In About Three weeks They've been running the 777-300ER's Not sure why.
How long was that flight? I am going to guess about 30 min.
Nice sky
Things are always nice at a hub for the airline in question . I think Delta uses more MD80 series aircraft than anyone.
wow how old is the md 80 wow still in service that's when they built planes to last
The A321 is favorit
That was so fast taxiing.
I loved this video it reminded me when my wife and I flew on a md-88 in 1995 on our wedding day going to Ft. Lauderdale from Pittsburgh
Extra points for KAL A388!
Haha just saw you said 37 minutes in the description. Sorry bout that.
What camera do you use? Nice videos btw sub for you!
I use a Sony HDR CX760V camcorder. Thanks !
This is no MD-88! There's a visible jet engine under the wing. The Mad Dogs use fuselage mounted jets exclusively. Jet is visible at 7:50
+Stark News That's a stall fence, I think. It's known as a "vortilon" and it helps make low speed handling of the plane easier.
Every time I fly on a md88 my knees start hurting after an hour is incredibly cramped on these planes.
Have you ever flew to wichita
nice takeoff

@Hunch0 yep!
Delta 747 getting towed.
Is this the one that crashed at LGA?
No, this is N939DL, but the plane that skidded of the runway was N909DL
