  • Hey guys! In this video, I fly aboard an American Eagle CRJ-900 from Greensboro, North Carolina down to Charlotte, North Carolina. This route isn't the shortest route I've ever done, but it's pretty close. It was very interesting departing from GSO being the only flight leaving the day I flew...however the ground staff and airport employees did everything in their power to accommodate our flight and it showed. The flight itself was also very enjoyable with the CRJ-900 being in pretty good shape - as it was a relatively new aircraft. The flight departed & arrived early, unlike my previous flight aboard PSA Airlines, and the windows were clear as they're meant to be. Overall, I enjoyed the quick flight across North Carolina. Hope you guys enjoy!

I am a lifelong North Carolinian and have flown this route even back in the day when it was part of Piedmont Airlines when I connected in Charlotte on my way to Houston, TX. I love the views on this flight. Thanks for posting.

PTI Airport usually has way more people than that. But, seeing it's the late afternoon, there's usually not a lot of outgoing flights. Although, a handful of incoming flights.

It's not about how long the drive or distance is. It's more about connecting smaller cities to larger airports.

Too few customers, too big an airport. The airport is a key indicator of the poor economy of this area. Everybody's hung up on diversity & forgot to consider future economy. Gangs have become a huge problem here. Tax base is flat. Schools are average at best. Roads are average. People from other cities pretending to be born there. A real train wreck. Illegals brought into here in the 90's & 2000's by shady employers out of Maryland & Illinois take up majority of hourly jobs.
