- See how my new heavy duty toolpost drill performs on S316 stainless steel. This toolpost drill has large tapered roller bearings and can be used with an ordinary electric power drill to do milling and larger drilling work on the cross slide.

Great demonstration Mr Jordan. Thank you.
And a Hello to Rosie

Another great idea I'll have to save up for! Great to see Rosie doing a bit of inspection, loved the blackbird at the beginning.
I've just got my 250-000 jib type tool post installed as per your recommendation and you are right, it's made a huge difference to the lathe (Chinese mini) I was using the alluminium piston-type but it kept letting the tool holder move on the post. I have to say that buying from Bangood through the UK warehouse is fantastic, 3-4 day delivery! It's a shame they don't keep it stocked up.
I'm still trying to figure out a way to lock the main spindle on the Chinese mini lathe so that I can do indexing etc, I guess I'll have to make a disk and mount it to my locking spindle mandrill that I use for my polishing wheels coming out of the left end of the spindle, more left-hand threading...
Just a suggestion, maybe put a stop device to keep the spindle repeatable.
very impressive steve that drilled through that stainless with minimum effort and seems very ridgid and looks very accurite. once again steve you never cease to amaze me with your knowlage and expertice. thumbs up.
Splendid job. From my experience fully flooding with soluble coolant is far superior than drip feeding oil. It gives a better surface finish and much improved tool life.
Gday Steve, great setup, works very well mate, thank you for sharing another fantastic tool, take care, Matty
Hi Rosie
Very good set up & very quick cutting stainless steel as well, 👍🇬🇧.
Thanks Steve...You are in inspiration!...I wish you lived next door. I have so many projects that you could help me with as I lack the skill and machinery to accomplish them. Seems that Rosie approves of your metal working. Most chickens don't like the noise. lol
Great tool mate 👍
Real nice work, and interesting,
Thanks for your video and as for the chicken, it is very beautiful. So we easily cherish to animals. I hear her cackling frequently in your videos.
Brilliant!
That is great
That's what i like about you Steve when you build something you build it like a thank, great i have ordered a lot of things from banggood for my lathe i know when you say the tools are good i trust you because you really put them to the test thanks buddy.
Hi Steph22, I'm on the west coast of Canada and just wondered if you had any bad experiences dealing with Banggood? I'm thinking of ordering lathe tools as well.
I've never ordered anything from them....do you just sign up and pay with paypal....
is paypal the safest way to go?
do you know if Bangood has a warehouse in Canada? or shipping times.
thanks so much for any info you may provide. Tom
@@goldprogoldpro7809 Hi Tom never had a issue with ordering from banggood i always used my visa not sure about paypal, if you look at the item that your purchasing it will let you know if it's coming china or the US warehouse, i guess from the US will be faster, i hope this help you keep watching MR Jordan he really put those tools to the test if he says there excellent that mean they pass the test Thanks Steph
@@steph2211 Thanks very much for your reply. thanks to curly too.
I'll place a small order and see how it goes.
Good...👍🇬🇧
Thank you for showing, all your jobs and videos are excellent, however, I see now that you can do all this because of your helper ROSI. I see you have a good report with Banggood, in my case the order never got completed and I ended loosing $200.00 USD. Have a good and safe day.
Why did you forgo the flexible shaft in the next video?
what is the runout of the er20 spindle?
Do you have a video showing how you mount the coolant system to the cross slide?
Hi Alan I just machined a piece of pvc bar and put a magnet in the underside. I have just ordered the same motorcycle oiler and the other components to make the same oiler system for my Chinese Mini lathe. When they arrive I will make a new video showing it being made and set up. Regards Steve
@@SteveJordan Cheers Steve. I look forward to it.
Might be sellable. Now you need to do the same opposite on the mill.

You didn’t say there would be hot chicks at the end of this video! 🔥 🌶
Nice video! Aren't You afraid that the bird would eat some chips and get ill? I grew up with small birds but having my chip producing shop at home I don't dare to keep any free walking/flying animal here.'
Hi Stefan, I make sure I vacuum the swarf up as they have eaten one or two chips in the past. I normally clean up straight away after finishing a job or before I leave the workshop unattended. Regards Steve.
Sell me one!
If I had brought one of my chicks in ,she would have taken a BIG dump on my machine. Lol.
Your girls must be house broken. Ha ha. . the tool post did a good job, but I think your Bosch drill need a bit more torque.
I had a drill similar to that. When I was drilling a 16 mm hole in 1/2 inch cold rolled steel, the poor old drill went into Thermo nuclear meltdown, and burned up. Couldn't handle the strain. Lol
