Playstation Portal Can't Log in.. TRY AGAIN?

- I accidently hit the input button on my TV which turned on the PS5 and couldn't log in from my Portal because it wasn't the last device that turned on the Playstation 5. I actually tried the Playstation media remote later, and my standard PS5 controller and got this same issue. This video shows what method I used that helped. You may not have this issue with your TV if you turn off certain features, or plug the PS5 HDMI into a port that isn't (ARC). Mines is plugged into this port because it provides 120Hz.
If every button on my TV remote didn't feel exactly the same, I would've never figured this out. I naturally reach for the Portal because its closer. That's how i found out you cant log in if the Portal wasn't the last device logged in.
I’m in the hospital with my son for a month so I thought this portal would be amazing. Not the case, I have yet to get it connect one time. Now we live two hours away from hospital so they haven’t been paired yet, but I did pair it through the app. It recognizes my ps5 but will not connect. I’ve turned on remote play, internet while rest, auto login in, etc but no go. It is a great idea but doesn’t do what I thought it would do.
Can I ask a question for anyone that had a portal can you find this on the keyboard ($) symbol or am I bugging
I know I shouldn't say it, but I had to substitute it for a different symbol until I found out its really there.. I think I clicked everything on the left until it popped up. I literally didn't wanna change my password 😒
Just unplug the HDMI from your PS5 console and go into settings and shut off the hdmi feature that wakes up the smart TV

The solution is as easy as deactivating the option that wakes up the PS5 when the screen turns on!
