I started doing the stretching first thing this morning, and was really surprised at my stiffness and reduced range of motion. I stopped, had a coffee, then went back to it, slow down the video speed and I was able to follow along… with a little adaption to some of the moves for now…it was great. I certainly will be doing this each morning because I realize after doing it ,how much need to. Thanks again for another wonderful video.

Oh yes, Rajio Taiso! You made me all nostalgic about growing up in Japan in the 70s. I can still hear the piano accompaniment in my head. During the summer break, they had us do this in each community early in the morning, with the music from a radio piped in loud. And you got a stamp on your card afterwards. The goal was to fill up your card without any missed days.

I sit down most of my day and it is starting to take its toll I was looking for a quick and easy exercise I could do every 1/2 or so and this hits the spot, it really wakes you up without straining yourself and you get to move all your body. The moves are easy, I memorise them after the first couple of times, but I still watch the video because you're fun 😊 Thank you!

And that I don't have to sit on the floor. I am literally standing on my treadmill about to slow jog (thanks to this channel) while writing this post. (Treadmill instead of outside because it's still dark out where I live) Thought I'd give this stretching routine a try before I begin instead of what I usually do. It will be interesting to see what it does. I'm dealing with an injury from over doing it and pushing myself too hard. I was looking for alternatives to try while waiting for a surgery date and for after. That's how I found this channel. I am so tired of doing the opposite of DSY, lol. Finding this channel was perfect timing for me. I am really looking forward to the upcoming isometric videos! Thanks!

Feel free to modify the postures to suit what you can currently do. In Japan, even people on wheelchairs do it, so obviously the exercises are adapted to their needs. Take care of yourself. Hope everything goes well and you recover fast (and you let yourself recover by not pushing yourself too much too soon). Hard to do for some people. :P
