You need absolutely nothing for this workout but your badass ninja self! I'll be taking you through 4, 3-minute kickboxing rounds with 90 second full body, body weight burnouts between! Feeling a little spicy? Then grab a set of light hand weights for some extra burn. DO YOU and modify accordingly. Enjoy and happy sweating!
*Please make sure to properly warm up prior to this workout and also cool down. My B&B program has separate warm ups and cool downs so you can mix and match to create your own workout adventure! *

I’m so glad to be a B and B member. Joined early during the Pandemic which at the time I thought would be short term until my gym opened. A year and a half later, my gym is open and I still prefer to workout with Christa every morning!

Hi Neta! These are just teaser videos for my B&B program. Once a member you have access to all my warm ups and cool downs that you set up in a custom playlist that play back to back for variety. So essentially you're getting a different workout experience each time you push play! Hope that helps answer your question.

I'd recommend adding in a brief cooldown afterwards, even if you go over time. Cooling down and stretching is so important to prevent injuries and make coming back the next day easier. Otherwise, this was one of your more challenging free workouts! Loved the spinning back kick. It brought me back to tae kwon do classes I took when I was younger.
Easy way to consider teaching the spinning back kick:
- Start in fighting stance
- Rotate your hips so your rear end is to the target
- Bring the back knee up to 90 degrees
- Lean forward and extend the kick back, looking over the shoulder of the kicking leg
- Control the kick to full extension, pushing through the heel
- Bend the knee back to 90 degrees
- Step back to fighting stance
4 commands: turn, knee up, kick, recover.
2 command version once the balance and muscle memory are established: turn & kick, recover.

Christa! I'm from Russia and I love your workouts, I do them constantly on your channel and on Popsugar. I have one question that keeps me awake. Are you somehow connected with Russia? You have frequent mentions of "Russian twist", "orthodoxal stance", in one of the videos you had leggings in the color of the Russian flag. Besides, you look like a Russian! Tell me honestly, are you a Russian spy or am I just making it up?😅🤣
Ha! Good question but believe it or not, in the US we just call a lot of things names that indicate another culture. (Ex., German chocolate cake… not actually German 😂) Russian twists are a pretty common core workout, and for some reason (Christa could probably tell you, I don’t know myself) Orthodox and Southpaw are just widely recognized names for the boxing/kickboxing stances 🤔😆🤷♀️
