- A peek into the deVOL Haberdasher's workshop in Leicestershire, England.
This collection of handmade furniture has proved to be a great option for both kitchens and living spaces too. Much of this is due to its beauty from every angle and the attention to detail in everything from the hinges to the mottled copper end panels. These details are so important to us and our customers; we all talk about and want to know the provenance of the things we buy, but this is more than that, it’s seeing genuinely caring people, working together to get all the pieces of the design to work perfectly, look beautiful, function with ease and last, because they are made from exceptional materials, by exceptional people.

Absolutely beautiful, but I'm not sure it is practical for a family. The open cabinets have very little in them and the same for the glass front cabinets. I LOVE it.....but in a dream!!
Thank you so much Brenda. This is our showroom at Cotes Mill so we don't have too many things but we'd recommend including some cupboards with the beautiful tambour-style solid doors to hide away the inevitable family clutter.

Love the island. I noticed you sell them separately on your website. Are those drawers on the haberdasher island? Just wondering why the handles are placed at the bottom. Thanks
Thank you, we'd be very happy to design and make one of these islands for you rather than a whole kitchen. This collection is inspired by haberdasheries so we decided to place the handles on the bottom of the drawers to look like the lift up cubby holes in these old English shops but they function just the same as a normal drawer. Hope this helps!
