DoS 2 won't dissapoint you if you are a fan of BB.
@Sad but True That is very sad to hear, but my best advice is not to compare everything all the time. If you only play a game with the thought that it's not bloodborne, it won't be fun. So just... enjoy things for what they are, judge them for their own content, not how it looks next to bloodborne. And my second advice is: Play Hollow Knight. Like seriously: Hollow Knight has better music than bloodborne imo. worldbuilding and interconnectivety succeeds even DS1, bosses are phenomenal, combat is fresh, animation, lore e.t.c. But other than the fact that Hollow Knight is am amazing game, the true reason i am recommending it to you, because the sheer amount of detail, care and love you can feel throughout the game. It's a bit of different kind of care than bloodborne, but still, you are left in awe the whole time, wondering how one can manage to create something this... good, in the bigger picture and in the small details. (Also Hollow Knight was made by three people). So yeah, PLEASE check Hollow Knight out, a game that, in my opinion, even succeeds bloodborne.

@@joelmartindominguez8273 as i said in my previous answer; Play Hollow Knight. It's an Metroidvania-Souls Like, and it surpasses so many other games i know who i have considered untouchable before. (Dark Souls 1, Shadow of the Colossus, Bloodborne) It's a world that feels alive, more so than any other video game world i know. When exploring Hollow Knight you feel a sense of wonder, that i have only felt before when playing minecraft the first time as a 9 year old. that's a weird comparison, but the sense of aw and just amazment that the game inflict turns you into a child again. It has more "flaws" than a game like bloodborne, but it's made by only three (3) people, and still, the detail and especially the care and love in this game rival blodborne, if not even succeeding it.
There is a theory that the chapel dweller is just oedon using him as a vessel to communicate with the player and that the umbilical cord found from arianna is oedons kid who.

It's stuff like this that keeps me from leaving bloodborne and why I love it. Also, here's an insight for you. If you make contact at a winter lantern they won't attack you(note that you will still get frenzied from looking at them)
On the Micolash bridge detail, there’s a cutscene dedicated to it moving up to another floor, also to get around the now missing bridge you go left and there is a small corridor that will still get you to the other side. You can also see the Moon Presence if you die to it from that same spot as where you spotted Gehrman. Master’s Iron Helm is also more valuable. Fun mechanic for those not in the know: If you have a rapid or slow gem on your weapon, you don't even need to hit your enemy to inflict the poison. ROLLING against them can also inflict poison (make sure you're rolling while not locked on as when you ARE locked on, you only "scoot" left and right). This even works on invaders ✌️😈

“Lone survivor from a lost hamlet” could also refer to Old Yharnam, since hunters burnt it to the ground after its residents became beasts. I believe Gehrman refers to it as an abandoned hamlet in a line of dialogue. Anyway, great video!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who caught that too!! Interestingly enough, anytime a hamlet is mentioned in game, it involves Gerhman. I wonder if in his mania, he was making parallels to his sins and those of burned Old Yharnam. It's vague enough, that it can probably refer to either, or what you want your Hunter to originate from.

@@Paulito-ym4qc not your favorite? Can you please tell me the best ones you've played? I'm just curious because it's not often that I find somebody that values detailed games like this one
@@joelmartindominguez8273 as i said in my previous answer; Play Hollow Knight. It's an Metroidvania-Souls Like, and it surpasses so many other games i know who i have considered untouchable before. (Dark Souls 1, Shadow of the Colossus, Bloodborne)
It's a world that feels alive, more so than any other video game world i know.

I teared up a little whe I realized the photograph that is missing from the workshop is with Maria on her little table :(
The doll moving her finger like that actually makes me a bit sad, and the moon appearing in front of the clouds is the first thing that I found disconcerting and creepy when I played this game.
When Adella got snatched up to start the dlc I went “Oh, shit”

I’ve watched so many bloodborne vids over the years it’s shameful lol.
My point is though you actually have several things that I’ve never heard of. What a great vid and stellar attention to detail from beginning to end. Good job fellow Hoonter!!!
Nothing shameful about loving a game my brother.
Similar video for Dark Souls 1 is in the works. If you have any discoveries you'd like to see included, please put them in the replies to this comment!

It's stuff like this that keeps me from leaving bloodborne and why I love it. Also, here's an insight for you. If you make contact at a winter lantern they won't attack you(note that you will still get frenzied from looking at them)
@Just a Banana If you want to see it in action before trying it there's a video calling testing "make contact" gesture on winter lanterns
Sometimes Ritekeepers will stay upright when moving around and fighting.
I actually learned quite a lot from this video, thank you for posting!
You can even lock-on and attack Gehrman/MP from that spot too with A Call Beyond, but it does no damage until you enter the fog.
This is honestly the best bloodborne video i've seen. Videos like this are what keep me coming back to this masterpiece.
Exactly. How i have not seen this so far is beyond me

I gained some serious Insight from all this. Let's hope I don't start seeing things... anyway, great work on this! Seriously, it's fantastic that the Bloodborne community is still kicking even after Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro took the spotlight. A wondrous game, and the extreme attention to detail is partly why. Thank you for displaying it so the world can see!

Well the Death Star is a one eye symbolism so it's not surprising.
So Ooden is a concept? Huh that's such amazing attention to detail cause that's how the Great Old Ones are portrayed in Lovecraftian horror lol
Yeah it's really cool, Oedon exists only in voice form as far as we mortals can tell.
I remember Oedon being the biggest mystery of the game when it first released, and that we would see it/him in the dlc....
Oedon still remains the biggest mystery of Bloodborne to this day.
I can confirm this is true.

When the face of Kos is shown, the timing of the music is perfect. Just chills. Nice work.

gehrman absolutely does not deserve the bullshit he's gone through
From what I can tell it's an extremely rare event. After almost 1000 hours into the game I've only had it happen for me once on my first playthrough, and I don't even know what I did to trigger it. Maybe it isn't rare and I'm not triggering it as much but it's weird I've only had it happen to me once.
