Glad to hear I'm not the only one struggling around here in the Vette. I'm a couple tenths behind your time and looks like I need to cut more grass to find those missing fractions. Thanks for the guide and good luck in the race.
Being BoP is implemented this time we should be seeing a lot more close finishes. I signed with Nissan so it’s GT-R time! Deep forest is a perfect match for the GT-R me thinks.
Nice! I decided to go for Dodge, since I feel like not so many people in Europe might pick it and I like to use something different from the rest of the grid. I was considering Chevrolet as well. I guess in the America region some of the European manufacturers might be more rare.
I chose Citroen for the manufacturer’s series, was that a mistake? So far the GT feels alright, just especially "slippery" through the first section until the sharp left turn onto the straight. idk! any help would be appreciated! Great video btw!
I find a lot of these naturally aspirated cars to be a real pain to drive, at least on controller. For some reason it feels like even the tiniest bit of throttle will induce wheelspin in most cars (looking at you, Lexus and Genesis), but it's at such a degree that even I find it a bit over the top.
Yea, it seems like you can get away with some more aggression with the turbo cars, but the NA front engine cars bite you pretty badly for not being super precise. Getting much quicker than this lap proved to be nothing but an exercise in frustration. lol
@@Harmonic14 Ye I didn't mean for this race specifically, just in general. Just thought there was hope, because as it stands now this car is not fast, not easy to drive and not good on tyres unfortunately.
Wonder how Mazda will play out, that’s who I went with , after using the vision for the Daytona daily race figured why not use something I’ve used in the past.
@harmonic didn't you have a transmission running video? If yes, I was looking at it this morning and it just disappeared.. now i can't find it in my history
Make sure you're hitting the cambered part of the circuit on the inside, and control the throttle until you're almost straight again on the exit. If you go full throttle too early, you'll get bad wheelspin
It's the system used to balance cars in a class over the course of a season. Each car will have weight and/or horsepower added or taken away to bring it in line with the others. Some cars will suffer at some tracks and excel at others because of this.

Balance of Power. The game auto adjusts the cars to be more competitive with one another. But as the week progresses, you'll see more and more of the same car at the top of the leaderboard when they fastest car is found.
I'm representing Nissan, my favorite manufacturer. So with the GT-R it'll be great on the two straights, but with it being 4WD, it'll definitely be a bit understeery on turns, worries me about the hairpin. Hopefully I'll be able to pull it off decently well.
This isn't the C7.R GTLM - it's just a similar car that Gran Turismo designed. Also, if they end up adding the C8.R, the latest GTD Pro car does have ABS.
Dont like bop the way it is . You should still be able to adjust down force etc . They should make all the cars have the same power to weight then let the players set the rest up.
Ugh! I love it! Real racers share everything in hopes to get a better challenge! Keep it up sir!!
Your actually making really helpfull videos rather than just complaining about the game, thanks
Nice work on all the vids lately mate! I think you've got a winning formula, tune guides for pp/hp races and track guides for BOP races, perfect 👌
This is high quality. I definitely dig a guide this detailed. 👍

Yea it's tricky for sure - all about the throttle control. I don't think anyone can hit a 25 in this car, but I'd love to be proven wrong!
A very insightful and informative track guide.
Great video! I could watch a entire series of these on every track in the game.
Great stuff, so glad I found your channel. A GT7 paradise, thank you 🙏
I appreciate these as well as the tuning videos - both are informative and interesting - and helpful!

Got 17th place with nissan, globally
This was perfect. Thanks for the help. Look forward to more of these
Great video man, I picked Chevrolet this morning before I saw your vid but think I can still do alright with the ‘vette, especially with this guide.
Great content and very well explained. Thank you!!
Thanks for covering this so quickly! 💪🏻
New subscriber here. Good videos man.
Went with Lexus, didn't want to pick the meta so I could have an excuse for being bad.
I don’t see a meta car? What you mean? Lol
bro, your voice is asmr.
thanks for your content tho!
Nice job keep them coming bud

A lot of American drivers seem to go for the Japanese stuff. American manufacturers aren't too common here, either
@@Harmonic14 Interesting. I am thinking Hyundai might also be a rare pick this time, since a lot of Hyundai fans might go for Genesis.
great vid man and for sure more track guides
I chose the Jaguar F-Type, very difficult to drive as well, I find the MR cars are much easier to drive. I also use PS5 controller.

I haven't driven the Citroen with BoP, but it's MR so it should be quite good as long as it has decent straight line speed
Good lap 👍
Thanks for the video
If you choose a manufacturer do you need to own a gr3 and gr4 car from that brand or do you get to use them?
You get to borrow those cars for the season. No need to buy them
@@Harmonic14 for real? That’s great!
I'm starting and you videos are very useful. Keep going 👌🏼
Just wondering, does your replays save? I can't find my replays. Thanks for the video

Have you tested fuel consumption on the Corvette? Might be real nice to save fuel while not losing any time shortshifting.
I haven't tested it, but I've heard it's a pretty thirsty car. I don't think it'll be an issue for this race though - I'm pretty sure it's only 5 laps

Mazda is great but the g4 atenza has understeer, so very different, but still a great car
@harmonic didn't you have a transmission running video? If yes, I was looking at it this morning and it just disappeared.. now i can't find it in my history
Yes, I took it down to correct a few things. It's back up now
Are you driving in third person view or is it just because of the replay?
I drive in 3rd person on controller. I'd go with the hood cam at the end of the video as my 2nd choice
Really struggling with the lexus here, poor traction and low straight line speed not a great combo for this track. Best I can do so far is a 27.3
27.2. This car is sooooo bad
How can I prevent a loss of traction on the final hairpin left.

AWD is actually super helpful out of the hairpin, but the Gr.3 GT-R is actually RWD! The Gr.4 car is 4WD though
I wish the car didn't have ABS like in real life.
