Thanks so much, beat it by .006. I went from 2:03 to 1:58.494 in about 6-7h. I still messed up the big ramp of section 4. I was 0:01.325 behind you entering section 4 but ended up losing just under 5 seconds but by a miracle, I beat your section 5 by 0:01.951 and came out with the win no tc or anything except the line and brake area but I used your landmarks so I didn't even notice the line and brake area. I was screaming YEEESSSS!!!! And watched my replay twice haha. Thanks again

Thank you for the track guide as with the pointers you gave us, I managed to get a constant 1:58:70 average lap time in the Ferrari 458 GT3. Barely winning with 1 second ahead of the A.I. with all four of my tires completely worn out due to the new tire physics in update 1.31.

This was super helpful, buy I still haven't beaten it (gold everything but the full track), maybe it's because im on controller but it just doesn't seem possible 😅. The gold was set with a wheel, you can tell by the way the steering moves on the demonstration example. I've now spent hours trying to gold this track, the difficulty just doesn't seem fair when I could just spend $250 and get the gold. If they waned wheel user to be challenged they should have just added another reward with a compatible time requirement instead of forcing contractor users to spend hours on a single boring trial

hi there i have bmw m4 at 350 bhp nurberg 24 hour and it snap oversteer a lot mostly middle of the apex and on the exit of the corners me and my friend always have tuned cars our self but for some reason gt 7 some of the street cars have the same snap out oversteer issue it seems. i have tested m4 setup from few of my friends and we all suffer from same ishue and we never try m4 anymore its a shame cos i loved m4 so i could use some help with setup and hopping you could make a setup guide/ video about it thanks in advance
Hey I understand that most of ur settings are based around Manual shifts but how bout any input for the ones that play with Automatic shifts? And also you are my go to content creator for videos about car tunes … i would like more details on tuning even if some races are bob because alot of cars have horrible turns, maybe just a brief few secs screenshot of tunes u are using before the video starts….Thanks
For automatic, braking points will be slightly earlier, and throttle will vary depending on what gear the game chooses for you. It's always best to run in manual, so I recommend practicing that when you can. I might do something like a default setup guide in the future though - I agree that some of the base setups aren't very good!

Could you also maybe do another video explaining the different tire options, because I don’t understand why people use racing hard or comfort soft over the racing soft tire on 5 lap races?
Manual is definitely faster, but the amount varies by car and track. If a race is that short and tire wear isn't set crazy high, then you should usually use the softest compound available. For endurance races, you'd have to compare how much slower a harder compound is and see if it's worth running slower to save a pit stop. Keep in mind that a lot of events have mandated tire compounds though.
Why do you think it is that polyphony won't let you control the boost system in the porsche 919 hybrid? Why is it that the hybrid boost is deployed automatically and the push to pass button is disabled for this vehicle which isn't the case in real life?

Watch the weather, use the largest radar radius to plan ahead. He is fast, but AI in general makes bad decisions on dry/wet tyre changes. I finished 1 lap ahead of him while doing slower lap times.

It's definitely doable on controller! The lap time in the video was set on a controller
I probably spent 4-5 hours to earn gold for this CE. I wish I had this video. Probably would have cut that time in half.
I was like I like this track why does this seem more complicated than my runs. Then I see the finish and beating gold by over 3 seconds 👀😱
Try the Subaru BRZ I did a 1:55 and average 1:57-1:58. It’s a fast and easy car to drive. That’s with a 730 car not max HP.
