You look fabulous and truly one of those women who does not look older with the gray hair. I have been trying to do the same in growing the gray. I looked older with the gray. I just had it colored 2 days ago! I can't believe the timing! Your tips may make me re-think this process! One of the reasons is I have been going thru some health issues that have required a hospital stay three times since July, every time I'm asked if I need my walker or cane and they always put a "fall risk" tag on me! I'm thinking the gray influenced the younger nurses, I even had one treat me like I need "bed sore" protection! One dr even tried to get a physical therapist come to my home, when she called she said I don't qualify because I'm not "home bound"! At any rate, your hair and skin look wonderful! You go girl!

*Thanks for sharing your hair journey* . I experienced dramatic hair loss during menopause. I also chose to stop coloring my hair. My hair is baby fine and low density. Dealing with the gray growing in created some textural issues. I use a mixture of green tea made with distilled water and rosemary, peppermint and cedarwood oil. I spray this on the scalp at night. I have had regrowth results and no oily residue like Minoxidil. I use Pacifica's Rosemary Purify shampoo and conditioner and Pureology's Color Fanactic Leave In. The Pureology has been great for strengthening, increasing shine and providing a silky texture. I wash 3x/per week and agree that a water filter is extremely beneficial.

Your hair is gorgeous and the gray looks so good on you!! I'm wondering if you use the Revive oils to cleanse your hair and scalp or if the jojoba and rosemary oils are used for conditioning only. I'm at the awkward stage of mostly dark auburn hair with some gray. It's not very pretty, but I'm looking forward to when the gray is more predominant. I think you look great with grey hair! I used to follow another You Tuber who actually started her channel based on stopping coloring her hair and letting it go grey at a "young" age. She looked great, too. I, on the other hand, look horrible! I have very pale skin and my hair is patches if white and a very pale grey and not in a pretty silvery way. Think battleship that's been exposed to a lot of sunlight and you're on the right track. That grey reflects onto my face and I just end up looking all one color - blah, lifeless grey. 😢
I just tried it again and had it all grown out except the end of my ponytail and saw a neighbor I hadn't seen in a couple of years. She started talking and stopped cold and gave me a long hard look and asked, "Oh my gosh, I haven't asked how you are. Are you doing okay?" with true concern in her voice. So it isn't my imagination! 😂
Oh, how I wish I was lucky enough to have a great grey.

Sick, couldn’t ever afford to ever pay to color my hair, but now to me it looks horrible, but my arms are so weak, I can’t hold them up to do my hair, and a person needs to have a good hair cutter ,
Which I don’t have. I’m so afraid I’m gonna mess it up bad, I’ve done my own hair for years, but

Tanya, you inspired me to think about letting my color grow off - and I thought about it for yrs. The retirement of my 30 year hairdresser cinched the decision. I had a backup gal picked out and had been seeing her for trims and such for 5 yrs, but when the time came she'd switched to dental assistant during cv outbreak.
I'm almost done, just have a little pony tail of blond left. L'Oreal spray tint was a life saver when my silvery, white roots glistened. I used a light spritz of Dark Blond to mask over the white, which then blended with the blond.
I'm afraid to use flat and curling irons after watching youtube video of a woman who scorched the white hairs in her Salt & Pepper natural color after undergoing the whole ordeal of growing her color off. I'd be devastated if that happened to me. There are days I'd go back blond in a heartbeat, but thankfully I'm 70 miles and 3 weeks to get in to see a real pro hair dresser.
My favorite benefit is the natural wave is returning since my colored hair is mostly gone. The weather is quite windy here, and I love seeing my silver mane flying in the wind, then falling right back into place. Colored hair would never do that.
