The Beauty Of ....1917??? Here's an idea 😂
The Beauty of Lost pls or Mr. Robot
@@eduard7987 Mr robot already available, but blocked in US and Canada
The glass scene is one of the most beautiful scene ever
For sure!
Fax
One of the best monologues ever.. melts my lonely heart :')))
Each frame could be an Edward hopper painting
Probably the best, most concise description of the film.
Jacques Tati is like hopper but non cynical
I saw this film at a cinema in 1984 in Soviet Lithuania.
You lucky prick
Awesome!
I saw it in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1984.
Wow.. Incredible movie
I saw this in my home
The photography of this movie is so beautiful, every scene looks like a painting
I thought I'd cry at the booth scene but I actually cried more when I saw the mother-son reunion. The way she leaned lovingly over him... Oh, man, my eyes are soaking in tears.
me too, i think it’s cause it was easier to empathize with jane than with travis i found her side of things more tragic
I cried harder at the projector scene than either of these scenes tbh... The whole film is beautiful though
Both, i can't control the teara when i see those two scenes, the reunion and the projector just kills me.
The line that has stayed with me since I first saw Paris, Texas at the age of 14. "I knew these two people".
can you please help, when was that line?
@@gladness7871 He had found her, working behind the glass at Peep Show. Here's the actual scene. ruclips.net/video/1Y3FXclXvo8/видео.html
My all time favourite movie. Cannot recommend it enough. I remember the first time I watched it like it was yesterday. No film has ever left an impression on me like this one. I had no idea where it was going in the first half an hour of the movie but, by the end, my jaw was on the floor. Stunning, beautiful movie.
You put it into words better than I ever could. The film left me with a feeling I've never felt before. True masterpiece
This is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen. Every frame is a literal painting.
Me and my father's favorite movie. I miss Harry Dean Stanton.
Me too!
we all do! :(
mine too.its also kurt cobains favourite movie
1:18 One of my favorite scenes ever!!
Agreed. The tracking shot is amazing.
The work on photography and lighting in this movie, IMO, is magnificent, one of the best ones if not the best I've ever seen.
I've been waiting for this one! This film is a masterpiece!
4:25 The billboard:
“Together we make it happen.”
3:17
I never tire of saying it.
The mirror scene is one of the best scenes of all time.
I would dare to say that it is the best scene I have seen in a movie
I'm on the spectrum and have ADHD and this movie is like therapy for me. I usually can't watch anything without simultaneously doing something on my phone or thinking of something else, not able to concentrate. This is the first movie that has me so captivated and glued to the screen with my thoughts only on what's happening in this special little world of solitude. It takes its time with each moment but never ever gets boring and that's a testament to everyone's talent that was involved in the making. Of course Harry Dean Stanton is a big reason why this is masterpiece too. I can't put into words how much it means to me and how perfect of a movie this really is. I could speak a thousand words on why it's so beautiful but I try to live more like Travis and let that beauty speak for itself. I don't think I have to use many words because everyone who loves this movie too can understand what I'm feeling. I'm German so it's extra awesome that my favorite movie ever is made by a German director :)
Quit being a bitch.
@@billysunday7507 I'm working on it :)
I hear you mate, each and every word is relatable to my ADHD brain. Thank you for saying this.
This would belong in the Louvre if it could accept movies. Gorgeous cinematography! Definitely a moving painting
Long live independent cinema, i love your edit 😉
Imagery as a storyline.
Colors as emotions.
Brilliant.
No Country for Paris Texas
My second favourite movie ever
First being Mulholland Drive, would love to see that one next to this
Lol, same that me
same here
This movie is truly a masterpiece! And every frame is a god damn ART.
I'd heard a lot about this movie, people saying how sad and emotionally strong it is.
I can confirm the huge feeling that evokes. I've been feeling quite likely to cry the whole day
i just found two themes or art styles that blow my mind about this movie , the color scheme and how the life is shown through the windows and mirrors, i saw this movie a few months ago, but it is still growing on me
The Beauty Of The Florida Project
What do you mean?
@@Oceansta there's a movie called literally "The Florida Project" ;-)
This film is the reason I went into filmmaking
RIP Dean Stockwell...
2:00 increíble imagen. Excelente fotografía.
This film completely blew me away
Me too. I like to watch movies without knowing anything about them.
@@ktongmm Same, I had no idea what Paris, Texas was about before watching it.
These videos give me life.
The Beauty of Mulholland Dr. I believe its cinematography is stunning.
Loved the use of Red, like a do not cross line everytime appear or something bad it's happening
every shot feels like a painting.
so so good, one of my favourite movies. the scene between the glass is one of the most beautiful pieces of dialogue ever written
One of the most beautiful film ever made ! R.I.P Harry Dean Stanton
This movie is inter-temporal. It does not matter the grainy looks, but the authenticity of the character drifting into unmarked space, bordered by nostalgia and sadness, in pursuit of his own self.
One of the best shots, not appearing in this video, is Dean Stockwell character at the gas station on sunset, when he's going to get is brother.
Thank you, Wim Wenders.
An absolute masterpiece
I wish they still made movies like this one..
RIP both Harry Dean Stanton and Sam Shephard.
If someone could only watch ten films in their entire life, I would urge them to dedicate a spot to Paris, Texas.
This should just be the entire movie .
A masterwork of a film.
Thanks mate!
What about:
Werner Herzog’s Stroszek
Polanski’s Frantic
Wender’s Ripley’s Game?
I need to watch so many cool and beautiful movies because of you...
Thank you!!!)))
I'm glad!!!
You will not be disappointed by Paris, Texas. Best fricken movie eva
The beauty of Spiderman trilogy! I've been waiting like 4 months
Would love to see one for Wings of Desire!
Yessir
Now this guy…I like this guy
My favorite film of all time
Colores y escenarios perfectos, totalmente reminiscente.... back to the 80's
Now i can say with all security that this is a masterpiece
This is the best film ever made.
The beauty of Master of none, the cinematography is stunning
Greatest movie ever made!
Beauty of Buffalo 66 please !!!
Your channel reminds me of the other channel called "Other Places" which is using atmospheric imagery and soundtracks in his videos based on various video games in a similar way. I like your work and i recommend you to do a video on a series called "The Terror", because it is full of arctic tundras, polar landscapes and has a good soundtrack, which would perfectly fit in your collection.
Best film in history.
Wow, beautiful selection; thanks
This film is BRILLIANT!
Thanks for sharing this. Memories 💌

I really want to know how to achieve this look. And a lot of the looks on your channel really but something about this one in-particular.
You should do The Night of the Hunter, some of the best black and white cinematography I've seen
Hopper, H. D. Stanton, Ry Cooder, La Canción Mixteca... Just soooooooo beautiful.
Great video, please do "you were never really here".
I need “the beauty of The OA” please! I truly recommend it if you haven’t seen it yet :)
