Today, i recorded a video about how to stay with Five Pebbles, possibly forever, as Saint

The only ending that is fair for pebbles is the eternal death and ascension

fun fact the blizzard doesnt outright kill you, the rate at which cold increases and the number of lanters youd need after a certain time
increase, so its possible, youd just need more lanterns
also great video, very bittersweet and very rainworld of you
use beastmaster and just spawn so many laterns the cold cant even touch you

I did somthing similar I was hunter and I was trying to finish that game but I had 3 cycles left and it didn’t matter so I decided to stay with moon and spend my last 3 with her, I brought her pearls to read me and in my last cycle I layed with her as the water roused and everything went black 🥺

Fun Fact: If you grab a Time Machine and travel to the times of Artificer and kidnaps her then you can make her stay with pebbs for forever, since she is naturally inmune to cold
PD: I forgot, you can also stay since Artificer's inmunity is shared to any creature around her

I am taking it more as a hobby, so my upload schedule will be erratic because i dont always have ideas, motivation or time to record and edit a video such as this
I do find editing really fun tho, so i will keep making videos if i have ideas
Alternate: GIVE PEBBLES ALL THE LANTERNS YOU CAN HAVE, 1000000 LANTERNS, 200000 LANTERNS, EVEN 300000

the freakin parkour in this game is amazing
ngl I didn't know the there was a force kill from the cold.
This also means that saint cycles can last for 20+ minutes while holding 3 lanterns
@@nomihabo9752 Sorry for not being clear in the video, didn't find a spot for expaining as to why 4 lanterns are needed, but what you said is a bit false
even during the blizzard, the cold still ramps up. After 5 mins of the blizzard starting, you will begin to freeze even indoors with 3 lanterns, but for some reason you are just fine with 4. 3 still majorly extend as to how long you can stay alive though
Ofc outdoors you will freeze rapidly no matter what after the blizzard starts, 3 and more lanterns do not help that much

Ah, good to know that you die after 15 minutes. I got stuck under a raindeer once and since they warm you up too was completely unable to die until I managed to break free after quite a long while.
i almost always had 3 lamps on me at any time in my saint playthrough... If only i had one more...
Ah, I first thought when Saint was starting to turn pale and then black that he was actually starting to be burnt up inside because of the lanterns.
they made hypothermia relatively close to how it is irl
Everyone who died of hypothermia experienced a huge wave of warmth right before death, it's the last attempt of your body to warm itself
Many other changes to creatures, most notably lizard noses being bigger, also reflects on the temperature change
saint overheats and burns
The story of the Five Pebbles tears my heart so much from the inside that I can barely hold on not to get depressed. On the one hand, I desperately want to stay with him, and on the other, I want to end his torments at the expense of the Saint's karma and send the Moon after him so that these torments end for them and they become their mechanical family. I'm crying. QwQ
I completed most part of Saint's campaign with 3 lanterns on me. It was fun to go through 4 regions in one cycle, while mostly everything is in the shelter
Lol nice. When I played saint the first time, I had no idea the lanterns could be used for warmth, beat the entire campaign without using them

Ir is annoying that it kills you now matter what after 15 minutes. I mean, what is even the point of making a difference between it and the rain then? Rather than this I'd say it should be like a reverse rain where instead of the underground flooding the surface becomes buried in snow and rendered inaccessible. If they really want a set limit then all they'd need is for the heating lamps to have time limits as they lose energy and become increasingly ineffective.

huh I thought that background objects and closed rooms make you completely immune to blizzard efffect, and so we can see they doesn't
I haven't gotten downpour yet, but from what i've seen, it looks fun! I honestly cant wait to buy downpour.
someone needs to make a mod that allows you to not die only in Iterator chambers, so you can do this with moon or pebbs

What interests me is that five pebbles is a selfish narcissist, and we all know that. He brought the destruction to Rain World, a lot of bad things that happen can be attributed to him. And yet, we all pity him, and sympathize with him

what if you steal all the lanterns several cycles and ferry them to pebs in one cycle instead of just 4
i believe each shelter has a maximum capacity of 12 items, so you might need more than one shelter
i tested it, and no matter how many lanterns you have, after 15 minutes of the blizzard starting, you are getting killed regardless, so why bother with more than 4

Technically you can ascend both him and Moon, and they will be together. In hell, but together nontheless
Pros:

Tip: get saint anti freeze it completely removes your ability to die of weather in the saint campaign
Pebbles DOES deserve to have no friends, never to ascend. He'll be trapped like he trapped Moon all those cycles ago.

Well… I’m not really sure I would call pebble’s a “friend”
I got trapped by a tamed Carmel. Even with just 2 lanterns. You live so friggin long it’s not even funny. I had to wait i assume that full 15 minutes in a cramped box to die.
you can actually do this. just get beastmaster and spawn in like 10 lanterns

I've seen people try with the beastmaster mod (lets you spawn any creature), it doesn't work...
