Dougie's Disposal - Mack LE / McNeilus Tag Axle Rear Loader

With Dougie himself behind the wheel! Dougie launched his company 12 years ago, but had been in the industry long before that. Since launching he has built a great reputation by providing outstanding service, being involved in the community, and being a hands-on owner. All of which have helped build a great business. Certainly a refreshing look with most of the competition being faceless corporates, or rehashed companies who's only goal is to get big fast by lowballing, sellout, and do it again. Dougie is in it for the long haul and his pride in ownership certainly shows.
With a fleet of over 12 unique and well maintained trucks mostly painted in his trademarked blue and equipped with Lots-O'-Huggin' bears on the grilles there is great appreciation from an enthusiast like myself. Dougie's fleet is made up mostly of pre-emission Mack and CCC which is certainly hard to find these days. GFL and Tringali (more on that later) both got rid of their last Mack MRs in 2022. At this point Dougie is almost single handedly keeping Pre-emission Macks in SE Michigan, and with how they're maintained they will last for years to come too.
l want to give a huge thanks to Dougie for letting me follow around for a while and also getting me route info for a few other trucks that will be featured at a later date.

I remember seeing these trucks at the arbor hills landfill each truck I saw was pretty cool

They still come I see out on the subscription routes a lot always try to get em to honk a few of em do lmao

@@DavidKott I remember those subscriptions routes. I had a big ass neighborhood on Thursdays and the rest was subscription. I would start that neighborhood at 7am and be done by 10am I believe once I finished it all by 9:50am
