It will be interesting to see how things shake out for them in the long run. They've been struggling majorly since they took over. Largely due to the GFL fleet being severely neglected. But they're also the only real option anymore. WM no-bids everything, Republic exited residential here too.

@@mtr82952 I heard a bunch of GFL employees were putting in their two weeks, and yeah republic did sell their residential contracts to priority as well, WM is focused on landfills and commercial I believe. Stevens is still around, but the only city they got over here is riverview and Monroe. Maybe tringail could expand on residential and make their way down here

@@mtr82952 Yeah I saw a couple news stories with the usual 'customer hasn't had trash picked up in weeks' and interviewing Priority saying they were handed a fleet of junkers with several unfit for operation. IIRC a good chunk of the fleet was old Rizzo stuff so I can imagine they've had some poor maintenance over their lifespan. Locally St. Paul has finalized their new contracts with FCC and Eureka! for the coming periods. FCC will takeover 90% of the city April 1st 2025. SP Public Works will commence hauling the other 10% then as well. FCC is working on building a new facility in the city and will get a brand new fleet of CNG trucks for the contract. Hopefully everything switches over without too many issues. WM has been fine for trash collection but they've already missed my YW once this season and twice had to delay pickup due to staffing or equipment. Eureka will continue with the recycling, they've gotten a little better lately but still get the cart left in the street sometimes or super late pickup time like they're shortstaffed.

@@DavidKott I remember those subscriptions routes. I had a big ass neighborhood on Thursdays and the rest was subscription. I would start that neighborhood at 7am and be done by 10am I believe once I finished it all by 9:50am

Both are impressive for sure. They both could have retired and be chilling on a beach but are too driven for that life. There aren't a lot of guys like that anymore

Just LR Curotto’s Pete 320 side arms, LR Labrie a few leaches I believe the 1992 for leach is still around most of everything is newer standard heil’s and Mcneilus’s though I took the winter off so idk if we have any newer trucks. Oh bucket trucks and the Frightliner side arms as well. That LR side arm runs in Lincoln park btw!

I remember this day it was a fucked day I was out In Liviona, running trash, punched in at 3 am didn’t punch out till 10 at night, three trucks running to make sure shit wasn’t sitting. Compost was sitting still recycle and trash, it was pretty much just mix it all together. We were basically loaded out again by the time we were done we had a rental heil truck
