- Almost two months ago I decided to take a trip down to the city of Taylor to film the refuse trucks used there. The city is collected by MidWestern Sanitation, however the trucks are branded specifically for the city. Garbage and Recycling are automated and are collected by a fleet of six Heil MultiTasks, all mounted on Mack LEU chassis. Yard Waste however is still collected manually with rear loaders. Unfortunately I was unable to catch that though.
Anyway... After nearly an hour of looking for a truck I finally managed to find truck 306, which I was told is a spare truck. However it had jut broken down a few minutes before I had shown up. So I only was able to get a walk-around video since the driver was waiting on the mechanic to show up. Afterwards, I found truck 303 collecting garbage. The driver was very friendly and even cool enough to let me know what streets he was collecting next so I could keep up with him easier. Both of the drivers tole me I was not the first RUclipsr to film them either, both have been filmed previously by Garbageproductions1, who actually lives in Taylor and has a many great videos of their trucks. Excellent video dude! These Multi-tasks are really cool trucks, and I really enjoyed the tri-pod footage. On the Left side of the cab, is that a camera attached to it on the side sticking out? Noticed it around 6:10. Fast driver too!
