I bought a peace dollar from jm bullion for around 34 bucks. I looked into VAMs and discovered it's a 1923 vam 1-0 wing bar. Worth anywhere from $75 to $400. Im still amazed.
I finally convinced my friend to always check the coinstar machine everytime she sees one for returned coins in the bottle tray and the area where you feed in coins. A few months ago she called me crazy excited when she found an incredible coin sitting ontop of the coinstar ledge where you feed the coins in it was a 1926 S peace dollar in unbelievable condition in addition to its crazy incredible condition it has beautiful purple toning on the front...i think its worth 5 figures but she needs to send it for grading.
I have a liberty silver dollar 1924 it's 68 or higher grade it's uncirculated and u are saying they are selling for 15,000 or more I just started coin collecting and want to know the best way to sell this coin or grade it without getting ripped off do u have any advice?
I have an MS 63 1923 peace coin, mint errors on both sides uncirculated condition no D or other marking it has a v for a u in trust also...where would I sell it?
I got alot of silver peace dollars and they have been sitting in my closet since the day i got them so i might pull them out and check them because i know i bought a few errors for cheap off of someone
I went to a place to have my coins graded but they were not intrested, how can i get them graded and can you come up with someone that will atleast tell me there worth if any like a dime with flat rim and so many doubles and i need to sale them make quick cash
Worth its wait in silver man, unless you get it graded I keep ‘em in the safe brother. They will only increase in value and if we stop printing physical money you will have yourself something to trade during war times. My grandfather left me several and they bare sentimental as well something to hand down to your children
The more I look at the one I have, it looks very different from the ones you showed in your video for example the letters MER IN America on the reverse side touches the letters UNU in the word UNUM. Also on the reverse side the word dollar is behind those spikes a pared to other coins seems dollars is on the top. Idk if I’m making sense, idk if I can send you a picture of my coin??
You could buy more from the bullion companies online they might be sold out because the beginning of the health scare the price of silver dropped and they sold out. Ebay is another good place to buy them also your local LCS would be a good place if they are open or have any. Sometimes pawn shops might have them also. The 1921 peace dollar is the most saught after and the Carson city CC Morgan's Silver dollar is one of the most saught after and retains a lot of the value.
Just go into ebay you can buy them on there for around 30 35 bucks in 1922 23 24 all the time . Even in mint state as well .sorry for the double whammy loss . But I know how you feel .been there . It's not fun.
I had a whole collection stolen you just got to start over again .remember what you learned from it and keep the that experience in the back of your mind Hang out with positive friends not negative. Ebay sells coins cheap . It's a start Sorry for your loss . It sucks I know .I loss my dad not long ago .take care.
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I only wish it was possible to go back in time. But all I can do is move forward. And also sorry about your collection being stolen. I would of freaked out so bad. One was bad enough let alone a whole collection.
I have a “BEAUTIFUL “ 1923 Morgan dollar no mint mark and it’s starting to tone very well plus it’s a DDO AND I do believe this coin was printed over another coin because of the various numbers and letters in the feathers and in various places on this coin.
I have a 1923 peace dollar identical to the one you just showed, also what about a 1926 peace dollar with a S ment mark, What can you tell me about the 1926 coin?

I just bought a 1922 peace that has a lamination hole that is about a 1/8th inch in diameter it looks like a copper tone inside of it and it has a snake coming off of it that looks like a mettalic price of angel hair spaghetti. Major error. Paid 30$. Looks like au 55
All 1921 peace dollar coins are high relief. So it's the width of the rim of these particular coins in the following year that tell plenty. It's written that many of the 3200 peace dollar coins produced by George Morgan were melted after several were sent to congress for approval. However if one was to be totally honest and the first several and last were kept and the rest melted makes little to no sense. So the 1922 Philadelphia peace dollars were without doubt kept. They were pressed by George himself on a different press and on the 3200 coin total die failure certainly happened. Unacceptable to coins founded to die failure is most certainly applicable. So again it seem most certain after those George again worked on the dies and inasmuch the relief stayed with all changes that George Morgan made stayed till they were done in 1935

I have a 1923 D peace dollar in pretty good shape that I found in my coin collection. Just may have to get it graded.
I have one too!
Mine is uncirculated and I'm mint condition
Where did you find the values because i have 1923 d mintmark uncirculated and i saw prises not more than 43 dollars?
Its because they most likely got auctioned off. They get a set price and people get a little stupid with their bids. And the price keeps rising.
