Thank you for a nice video. Am not a collector but have 9 morgans. Only one that we have from your list is the 1883-O. This was purchased from the Calhoun Collectors Society by Dad back around 1975 or so. Looks like he paid $75 for it. Calhoun graded their own and granted this one a MS 63 BW. Don't think this grade will hold up now and will send 5 coins off for grading. Have watched many videos, etc. You have a favorite grading service?? Thanks again for this timely video..jP in Titusville, Florida.
Thanks for taking the time to show and view the 20 most valuable Morgans. I was shocked to see the condition of the #1 coin. It looked damaged. The coin got a high grade but it didn't look stunning to me. Perhaps it has historical or limited production. Again, thanks for your videos. Keep them coming!
'93-S Morgans are not known for their toning. They pretty much all look drab and stone-grey regardless of condition. I'm honestly confused too as to why. Part of the reason why Morgans are the most popular coin is because of their luster and ability to beautifully tone.
Thanks for the vid, but wish it had been a lot different. It was mostly devoted to these oddball errors coins nobody is ever going to see. Just my 2 cents, but honestly, I don't give a rat's ass about the "Branch Mint Proof" and stuff like that. How about just a vid talking about the "normal" selection of Morgans that are out there that people can actually get their hands on? The ones people are going to see on ebay? The CC's, the more rare S's and O's? That would be far more useful to the average collector. But I do appreciate your passion, and the info is interesting, even if not terribly useful for the average Joe wanting to accumulate some nice Morgans. Thanks for taking the time either way.
Thank you for your knowledge very much appreciated although I don’t understand a lot of it lol. Is there a possibility you could point me in the right direction? I live in a rural area and I have a bunch of coins that I inherited and need to find someone I can trust to help sell them 😢
I was able to cherrypick a 1903-S Micro S from a small group of higher grade 1903-S. I also cherrypicked a 1921-D from a group of Unc 1921-Ds that looks like a PL. ANACS returned it as a straight grade MS-64, telling me that the mirror wasn't deep enough.
@@TreasureTownCoins I got it off eBay. I thought I was seeing things, but I compared it with other 1903-S Morgans for sale. It was a Buy It Now listing so I snapped it up because the price was right. There are bargains to be had on eBay, but you have to be careful and only buy from reputable sellers, or buy from sellers you've bought from before.
Would it be a safe assumption to guess that there are very few rare coins of any type left in bank or lost somewhere my guess is because dealers end up going through all of it before the people can get to it anyway if it even still exists? I have collected Carson City Dollar since I was about 14 years old still haven’t got the two that I need but it’s a nice short set to be in your opinion
I’m having a really hard time understanding the concept of brach proof mint dollars. What exactly are they? How are they different from other DMPL or PL ? I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some insight into the information regarding this.
It would be cool to do another one of just normal dates that are not mint errors or proofs like how the number 1 spot was just a good old hard ass date to get type of list
In terms of color, the fake kislux here looks more colorful, clear and clean! Anyway, I can't tell the difference, maybe I'm too stupid and will never buy it! Haha
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one kislux Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
I got to see an 1895 in PR65CAM in person at a coin shop last year, it was stunning to see one in real life. The shop owner quoted me a price of $120K, and joked with a three-week layaway.
How can i get into these auctions?? I have so many coins i know for sure are real from early dates! I have a few proof sets , different country coins from the 1900s different currency from the early/mid 1900s , ihave a 10$ bill from the 1800s its in a little rough condition its cool though , multiple golden age comics , silver age , i honestly need help lol😅 i have bank notes and legal tender notes , ww2 items , and everything is actually real!! Please if you can send some one my way , i sent the auction an email about my items but im assuming because i dont have them graded in the pics i provided to them , they denied my request . Also i have a few coins from the 1800s if not mistaken the earliest one being the 1882 dollar coin you showed in this video
For the most part the coins are in very good condition , of course it's the ones out of tac and all , if you could help thanks!! And keep the vids coming!!!!!
Hi there buddy I found a variety on a 1953 d nickel with D/D and has a extra chimney with a string around it I can't get no help on it please can you help me
kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kisluxs book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a kislux .
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Hi, I have a Dollar Coin from 1894 mint mark o made in new Orleans. Can you help?
The 1894-O depending on condition can run $55 in G4 to 42K in MS65. Would need to compare with PGCS coin facts to find condition

Congratulations, though - that is a great find! I'm sure it was a thrill to see the small S!
