Dwayne McDuffie is a writer, a maestro, and above all else a super hero. While fans can no longer meet him and praise him in person for his work we can still live by his example. Mr. McDuffie we miss you 🥺😢😭
The big thing that made me realize how bad we have it without Dwayne McDuffie was the Contumelia. A joke only really lands if it's playing second fiddle to something or if the situation is already following what potential it has. 5 dimensional caretakers of universes that can only appear to you as whatever you connect with the most? It was our one and only true chance to see who Ben was as a character, and they turned it into a joke. They turned Ben. Into a joke. Literally. Mr. McDuffie would be disappointed.
The TV show *Ultimate Spider-Man,* which also worked on by Man of Action, also honoured Dwayne McDuffie in the episode featuring the *Damaged Control* which Dwayne is the real life creator and a cartoon version of him is the leader.
I wasn't aware that he passed back in 2011. In fact, I only found out last year since I hadn't touched ben 10 after the amazing show that was ultimate alien. It's shocking to find out that the man who created my fav show when I was a kid had passed away 1 whole decade ago. Rest in peace Dwayne Mcduffie
Ben 10 was my world growing up, especially UAF, and I still watch the show to this day, when I had say a bad day at school, or upset about something, the show would be there. Its funny, some random guy actually tried roast me about watching the show, just the other day, saying it was for babies, and I shouldn't be watching it. I'm just glad there are other ben 10/justiceleague fans that enjoyed and grew up with the brilliant writing of dwayne mcduffie. And that's i love this channel, because I know I'm not the only one that loves this great franchise. Keep up the good work Kuro 🙂. People like you are the reason why I'm still a Ben 10 fan😁

I watched the film for the first time the other day while working on the WDB script, and WOW was it just absolutely brilliant. I was sitting there with my jaw on the floor in silence for a while after the credits finished.
RIP Dwayne McDuffie, a writer, friend, and loved one. His amazing writing helped shape and influence the childhoods, and lives of so many people and he's truly left an impact and legacy on the world. It is a shame that we lost him, but we can still enjoy the works that he put so much time, love and care into.
dwayne mcduffy, the legend who directed classic and amazing shows like justice league action, static shock and much more. he successfully revived ben and made it's way into the shows golden age. he will forever be remember in our heart.
A decade already? Still feels like yesterday, the drop in my stomach as i read "in memory of". I've binging Dwayne's work for the past week, so to see this video today, is like the climatic summary to a great story, one that I wish never ended.
May Dwayne McDuffie rest in piece, he made my childhood a lot better, same with Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, may these legends rest in peace, also I couldn't help but notice Kuros voice tone in the end, like he was sad, now I feel sad knowing that he's sad
A true legend of storytelling I was also introduced to him because of his work on Ben 10 I still think to this day that if he was alive what Ben 10, DC would have been like. He was an absolute genius I still consider all the things about Ben 10 lore he said canon even though they might have been contradicted by other writers in later series. It breaks my heart that the Ben 10 fandom has soured so much on the UAF era of Ben 10 but to me it'll always be my favourite largely because of this man. May his soul rest in peace.
Dwayne gave us a completely new experience of the show through UAF Era, it's a sad thing that I didn't have the access to internet at the time when he was alive or I would've asked him some questions of mine and tell him that his work on the show is Awesome
The movie All Star Superman is my favorite Superman movie. And it is the difference in Luthor is what makes it. Especially the ending. I never realized it was Dwayne who made all those things I loved
Rest assured that Dwayne is smiling down at you, realising that those simple conversations with one of thousands of usernames led to this franchise he worked so hard on to remain strong and passionate so long after his passing.
I miss him so much and I'm so grateful for his work, especially on Ben 10 cause that was one of the shows from my childhood that made me wanna become a story writer myself He was truly a one in 7 billion type of guy and is and will always be surly missed
Dwayne, above all, was my inspiration for getting into writing and storytelling. He's the reason I took a leap of faith in writing and producing my own stories. But it was you, Rob, that inspired me to join my storytelling with artistic flavor. Forging my own art style out of several different artists that inspired me throughout the years. And while I have you to thank for setting me on my own artistic journey, I am grateful to join you and all these other passionate fans, dare I say friends, in honoring the legacy of the Maestro, Dwayne McDuffie. Rest in power. I'll never be able to repay you for all you've done to inspire me, Dwayne; but, I'll damn well try to honor you through my work and all that I do as my first and main inspiration. I could never thank you, or Rob, enough for being the reason I'm chasing my dreams today.
He was a huge inspiration for me, his works, and writing set a high standard for what it means to be a writer. I loved his works in justice league, superman all-star, and ben 10 AF and UA, his faithfulness to the characters, accompanied by his new takes on the universe the show exists in, really brought life to a lot of stories. It's really awesome to see you giving him the credit he truly deserves, and it's really awesome to see you holding the fandom together!
I loved Dwayne's work it on Alien Force and U.A it had a solid plot, character development, arcs, characters were serious and overall it was the best animated tv show one you watch and wonder that's gonna happen next moments like Ben attacking gwen, moments like Ben going to kill Kevin that's great television for both teenagers and adults Ben 10 is never gonna reach those heights but back in the day when it did I enjoyed every second of it.
He was a true inspiration to alot of people, including me. I'm still getting used to him being gone. But I am glad that from that point my new inspiration Kuro came along. Goodbye Dwayne. And thank you Kuro for giving me a new hero to look up to. Thank you.
He really shaped my childhood, UAF was when I watched Ben 10 constantly. I remember the premiere night of Alien Force and being so excited to see Ben be 15 and all the new aliens he had. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't be big into cartoons or found my friends on the internet. He gave me a childhood I wouldn't forget, from watching each episode either with my dad or my mom, to the times in the playground of me and my friends pretending we were the characters and fought over who was Ben. Hell even to now when in 2019 I met one of my best friends on the internet by chance and we're close as friends can be. All I can say is thank you Dwayne McDuffie, for creating a hero I never knew I needed.
Man i still miss Dwayne he’s forever one of the best writers and creators. He’s one the strongest pillars of the writing, comics and cartoon community. May he rest easy.

By the time i did and learned that he already passed away i felt little disheartened, but i know for sure it wasn’t as much for the older fans. I can see that he had a genuine impact on older and newer fans alike especially you Kuro when i noticed your voice shaked a bit at the end.
