Chad Baker So then you probably started shorter, had trims, and/or have slow hair growth, but it looks like it grew about 6”.
In ancient Greece, long male hair was a symbol of wealth and power, while a shaven head was appropriate for a slave. The ancient Greeks had several gods and heroes who wore their hair long, including Zeus, Achilles, Apollo, and Poseidon. Greek soldiers are said to have worn their hair long in battle. Such warriors considered it a sign of aristocracy and are said to have combed it openly to show off. Also, in order to keep enemies from getting hold of it in battle, they were known to cut the front short, but leave it long in the back, where it was more out of reach (mullet).

@@user-ok8gg1zt6w no. Exposing your hair to the sun too long will make your hair very thin and it will get frizzy. I suggest you put on a cap or some live-in conditioner with sun protection.
I grew a excellent mesh of beard.. Thought of Trimming it today... But that bloody trimmer was half charged and beard was half shaved..... I had to clean shave it today😭😭😭

Long hair definitely elevates looks. I'm growing as well but, they're growing upwards(hate them lol). I think they'll be alright once they grow enough, I mean long enough to get close to my neck.

I have curly hair myself when its on the longer side (if short, it's wavy) and can confirm the hair does grow downwards after a couple of months due to gravity, just hang in there.

@@hashimali7111 I KNOWWWWWW RIGHT, THE INBETWEEN STAGE OF short and long hair is the single hardest thing ive ever had to endure. It was a lot easier during covid when everyone was always in doors. My only advice would be to get trimmed up so you look respectable enough. It might make it take a bit longer but you wont snap and end up shaving your head lol
I just reached the 20 month mark and my hair is resting at my color bones, this hair growth journey so far has been a ton of fun, keep growing bro!

@@lollolliii just trim it on the sides a very lil bit, when the sides irritate you or you get split ends.
I'm currently 8 months almost 9 months into my hair growing journey. It's looking really good so far!

I grew out my hair for about a year and one of the hardest parts is the six month mark. I was in that awkward stage and it sucked, I looked like Justin Bieber for a while but then it started to look good again. I’m glad I did this and hope you try growing out your hair at least once in your life, trust me it changes the way you look in a good way.

Shaved my head today. Day 0. Glorious mane here I come… eventually. These kind of videos get me crazy excited and motivated for this, especially since I’ve never grown my hair longer than 4 inches
How long is it now. I have been growing since 1st April 2021. The front reaching my mouth(just the tip). The back and sides are getting longer. They reaches my neck since last month and covering my ears when I don't tuck it back.

@@kasumi9015 im not an expert so I recommend you research it yourself but I’m pretty secure it depends on how oily or dry your hair is. How oily your scalp is can also be a factor in what products you should use so. Look up trav whites channel he’s one of the most informative youtubers when it comes to growing out men’s hair
@@vicrattlehead8665 Everytime I use a shampoo, my hair becomes super rough and dry. So I decided to not shampoo since last month and my hair becomes super oily. I guess I will do my own research after this. Thanks btw

@@pantasama Honestly, I don't remember exactly, but at least 4-5 cm. Now its length is about 19-20 if I make my hair straight (I've got curly hair so it doesn't look quite long)

That's not true. Male pattern baldness doesn't affect everyone. It doesn't mean you'll go bald once you hit your 20's

I am 19 and my hair does not grow at all, I can spend three months letting it grow and my sides are still glued to my head. I'm going to try one more time before I resign myself to having bad genes.

Your hair looks amazing and healthy. What products are you using? Like what routine do you have? I’ve been growing my hair out since February of last year but my hair started from almost a buzz cut
So I don’t use much protein but I drink a lot of water, eat a lot of protein and exercise often. As well as massaging my scalp. That helps it grow faster. Keep growing it out bro!
