- In this Mazunte Oaxaca Mexico travel vlog we show you what to do in Mazunte. We take you on a walk to Playa Mazunte and through the town of Mazunte and then hop on the scooter and head to La Ventanilla where we take a boat ride through the lagoon and get close and personal with some crocodiles! After that we head back to Mazunte and hike Punta Cometa for the best sunset in Oaxaca! We love Mexico and Oaxaca in particular has some of Mexico’s best beaches. Thanks for the advice there. Currently in Chelem near Progreso. By the way, when I first saw drones on sale, I couldn't understand what was the point of them but seeing your shore drone wave and whale shots, now I do! Fortunately, my city of Oxford, one doesn't need a drone to see the view from above as all one needs to do is watch the opening minutes of any Inspector Morse Lewis Endeavour TV episodes! If you ever visit Oxford,I have a spare room which you are most welcome to stay in.

As a former 5 year full time resident of Mazunte ( from Canada 1999-2004) I will complement you on this video...a job well done as usual. Mazunte certainly has changed from when we were the only full time foreign couple! It was a great way to learn Spanish!

Really beautiful little town. So much to see and so much you can explore. Seem like such a cool small town. You are one hundred percent correct the sodas are just so much better. I never drink soda but in mexico it's so much better. Also Fresca is so underrated especially with some tequila and Jamaica "jamikey" lol.

Wow so cool to see it today! I was there 20 years ago and just camped. It was just palapas for camping and food stands. I love that it has more to offer but still rustic. It has the charm that I miss seeing in busy Mayan Riviera now.
