Tonya's bodyguard was the only one with knowledge of it, having hired to loonies to do it in order to bring in more clients and money. Tonya was roommates with Nancy, and even admitted to being friends with Nancy. When Tonya's husband found out he was furious with the bodyguard, who said that the husband did it. Tonya was blamed for something she shouldn't be blamed for.
Natalia Romozany the thing I love about the film is that everyone has their side of the story, and it was shown in such a way that you don't know who to believe.
