Very nice! Since I have both arthritis and neuropathy my fingers don't always want to work with clasps (though the magnetic ones are very easy to use). I find that elastic bracelets are the easiest of all -- just roll them on. I think that elastic bracelets, by and large, don't get the love that they deserve. They can be just as fancy and elegant as a bracelet with a clasp, and will last a very long time if cared for the same as fine jewelry. Thanks for this video to remind the seasoned beaders of and awaken the new beaders to the joy of elastic jewelry.
I love all of your work. You explain things in a way that I can understand easily. Sometimes, my fingers fumble and I am impressed at your accuracy. Sometimes, mine isnt as good as yours and I speak out and say, "Yes, of course hers is perfect, again." LoL! But overall, I love your work and think you are great. I need to go through and make sure I give you a thumbs up on all of your videos. Thank you for sharing all of your expertise in jewelry making. 😉 💟

Great bracelet and perfect timing as I needed a last minute gift! Thanks for sharing. Btw could not hear any construction sounds. May you and your family be safe & healthy throughout the new year!
Oh my! I've been waiting for this, I have taken a new look at stretchy bracelets and I love making them, but, I either make them to loose or to small. I think it's how I'm tying the knot. Love ya Kellie. 🤨 how do you know how many beads to use? I know it sounds like a really dumb question, but, I also have trouble with that because of the many different sizes.
There is no correct answer on that. There is a bracelet sizing mandrel that I’m going to talk about in a video and it would be a great idea for you. Stay tuned!
First time here. Want to learn to make jewelry. How about showing earings with a long end with no backing. My hands are numb and I can't put backs on. Love this video.
Kellie I just made this bracelet with my findings I had in my stash. Just love it. But the issue i found is that when I went to do the knot it was too big to fit into the hole at the last bead. How could I remedy the knot to fit into the hole that is not big like yours. I am knew so this is my first bracelet I have tried to do. Thanks. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Love!!! I have a question about silk knitting and using hardware on real silk;in particular, crimps before and after last knots before clasp and o rings...is it okay? Will the metal cut the silk? Is there a better technique? You are amazing! , Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
@@KelliesBeadBoutique oh, okay-I am using 1) waxed Irish linen 2) genuine silk silk cord Sterling & | or gold fill crimps with crimp covers. I was a little worried the metal would wear through the silk or linen so wondered if I should just knot directly to the o rings *(then, I can worry THOSE ends will come undone 😂)... I typically wire and rarely silk knot but am starting to restring a bunch of my turquoise onto the more organic feeling *(and moving) natural mediums like the linen and or silks~ Thank you for your input. You are an absolute delight!!
I'm just starting out and this is very helpful! I feel though, that if I don't pull it real tight, I can still see the thread between de beads when I put in on....When I just made it and I leave the glue on the knot to dry and it's just lying on the table then it looks okay, but when I put it on I see bits of thread showing...…or could that possibly be the weight of the charm?
@@floatingisland544 Bummer. I had the same problem on my first attempt. It was fixed by using a few more beads. I was hoping it was an easy fix for you. Good luck. I’m sure you will figure out how to make it work.
I have been leary about doing stretchy jewlery. Every stretchy bracelet I ever had broke. How do you all feel about this? When I make jewelry w wire, crimp beads, etc. I know it will last. I have necklaces I made 20 years ago. I am so leary about this . Do you make them fully aware they might break at anytime?
Elastic will wear out at some point. I would suggest reminding them that they shouldn’t over stretch it or be too rough with it. Elastic is easier for some so it’s still worth making bracelets using it.

@@floatingisland544Is it possible that you need to add a few more beads? I’m guessing that it stretches a bit past the beads to fit the wrist.

Easy. Great for beginners. I noticed that you didn’t go back inside a bead and then tie it off!
Once before you suggested using opelon - stretch jewelry fiber. Do you prefer this cord better?
It’s hard to say. I like them both. Now that I can get the knots to hold on Elasticity I love it.

Hi, How do I hide the knots in 4 mm gems. Thank you so much
It’s hard with such small beads. I would use a small bead of some sort that had a large hole. Perhaps a metal spacer bead.
How long do your let the glue dry before trimming the knot?
Just a few minutes.
Beautiful, thank you
Thanks Kelllie.
