  • Hi, this is Karen. I am a huge fan of crystal and healing stones and I make handmade jewelry. In this video, I showed you a simple way of making elastic cords bracelets with two cords, three cords, and four cords, and how to tie the knots correctly and tug the strings into the bead hole.

    I am grateful 🙏 you filmed this video. I recently bought a bracelet that came in with a broken cord and was going to take it into a jeweler to be repaired. Now, with this video I will try rereading it myself and learn a new craft in the process do doing that. I think that's wonderfully AWESOME! Thank you 😊 💓 so very much. Oh, and now I can resize some beaded bracelets that have stretched out from wearing them over time too! Simply Perfect new skill to learn.

    Hey! I just want to warn all of you guys who love natural stones (like myself) to be careful with a certain type that is often called "zebra jasper". It's actually pure chrysotile asbestos and is not a hard stone that can be easily damaged and therefore can release asbestos particles into the air that you or your kids may then inhale. The problem is that many sellers have no idea what they are selling as most opaque stones are simply labelled jasper so the best thing you can do is Google what it looks like and avoid stones that resemble it in the future.       Thank you. But sorry I can't tell you exactly how long the cord should be, every bracelet is made to order. It depends on the wrist size of the customer, bead size, how long you need to tie the knot. :)

    Great video and great idea for the needle :) Thanks for sharing.
    For the nodes, I came naturally to the same system as yours by myself with experience. Much easy to maintain tension while you close the node and to make nodes easy to hide in the beads as well.

      @@KarenHuiCrystals do you mostly use black and white elastic or do you use a variety of colored elastic? I have noticed with some bracelets you can see the elastic due to the light color of the beads so maybe clear elastic would be an option. I am having a hard time finding a variety of good elastic. Thanks!
