Great variety there Chris, I enjoyed the MAN's especially. Last Friday I found a classic British truck abandoned on a vacant block of land, a Leyland "Marathon-2" bogie drive, done a video walk around it, been sitting there for years. The old ERF at 4:03 is my pick, a real gem that one. Don't see any bonneted trucks much in the UK, all cab overs, is there a reason for this Chris?
@adrian parkin.Goodday..Your dad was Gerry Parkin.Methinks.!!!An Old Skool lorry driver...I am extremely old skool and still at it ...I think your dad worked for Parfitts of EbbwVale also???...Cheltenham was a ""Crossroads"" as Severn bridges did not exist.!!!!!.Keep Em Lit Boys!!!!!!
Great pics,,👍,I remember London Brick trucks near Bletchley Milton Keynes years ago, going to school, the quarry was vast, they shifted huge amounts of bricks . Like everything today,I bet it's all gone now.
More Trucks ,More Memories. Remember quite afew companies in this one Chris, wondering what happened to most of them. Probably swallowed up by a bigger company. Keep up the great work my mate.👍👍👋
Jack Richards & Son ERF at 5 seconds, The wife and I were driving back from the West country today, (15th July) and we were stuck in a massive queue on the M5 North of Taunton, there was a Jack Richards vehicle stuck with us.
