Some fantastic photos there, brings back a lot of memories for an old retired tanker driver.

    Another fantastic video!
The Butler’s Marathon looked a bit grim on the back of that trailer. I hope the driver was ok .Not a job I would have fancied recovering that , especially if a work mate had come to grief in it !

Hi,at 13:42 you can just see part of losers nucoline they also ran out Greenock before it became van den Berghs Jürgen it was British oil cake mills, the raw palm kernals were stored in a old bus depot at port Glasgow road in Greenock the main contractor was Smith of Madison but occasionally they would use local haulage companies like McIntyres Rapid Road, my late father worked for both of them, regards again keep on trucking ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

Ex Tate and Lyle tanker driver. The transport is contracted to Turners now. All in Turners livery. Great days but glad I’m out. Turners is a terrible company to work for.

Absolutely right. It's more about cost than quality in some cases. Anyway great video really enjoyed it. Many thanks.
