I'm going as a clicker for Halloween. I'm going to be a dead SWAT patrolman... I am a girl, but I'll just say patrolman because that's the technical term... I think. Oh well, as long as you look realistic!
I live up at school and have the mask at home since I dont need it for college lol. But it's a very durable head-piece and looks the exact same since I made it.
I used liquid paint, but using an air brush will make it 1000000000x more realistic. I looked into them actually and they're not too expensive actually, so if you have the option, def air brush. Hope you checked out the spoof we made using the mask and subscribed! :)
That's f-ing radical! I mean, and the way the foam collects just... LOOKS like fungus without doing much to it. That's so cool. Totally going as a clicker next Halloween!

i can make a really good clicker sound which i use to scare the shboozle out of my cousin

So I just put on the stuff and it turned out great so far. I actually learned that spreading it around will give a better texture when dry then when it just comes out of the can which forms rounder smoother shapes. Just sayin', so I'll experiment with carving it and putting more on, just thinned and spread out to get the texture I want. Also have a torch and spray paint. Trying to find someone that's good at airbrushing.
To answer about eyes, it's fine. Left holes, looks good.

Does anyone have an idea about how to make a clicker mask that you can actually see through?
Just leave an area open for the eyes
You don't, you rely just on sound to move around XD
mr box Clickers are blind, they see through the echolation, so the mask makes sense :p
Have the "Plate" on the clickers head over lapping the eyes, but leave eye holes. Pros you can see, people looking at you can't see your eyes. Cons can only look on the ground
+mr box If you look up freakmo or Ellimacs they both have pretty good tutorials and they show you a way to be able to see out of it without it being obvious that there's eye holes in the mask because in the game clickers are blind.
Gonna wear this for Halloween.

scissors and a knife, it's not too hard to carve, you just need to have an ideal image in your head

Hey so quick question: I followed the instructions in the video but my base mask ended up being crushed in on itself by the foam. Perhaps I used too much foam? Or perhaps maybe I should use a stiffer base mask so that it won’t crush the mask?
Started my own mask today. My foam was shitty and a bitch to work with, but it looks like I won't have to do much carving once it's dry because I like the look of as it is. I'm looking forward to painting the mask - the paint was expensive though, but I honestly think I'll be using it for other projects as well, so it's cool.

One fatal question remains: Are the clicker's extra "faces" soft and spongy or rock hard and crisp? I feel sick just thinking of it now :P
well it's a mushoom so it's more spongy, but there is skull fragments inside it so some places can be hard i guess ^^

well its a fungus and mushrooms are a fungus and they are spongy so i think its soft but alittle hard

This is a very usefull video, thanks! how heavy does your mask weigh? and does that bother you? I wanted to make an clicker mask, but I've bought plaster bondage, to fit it perfectly to my head. But I don't wan't to make it to heavy because I'll have to wear it a whole day.

Where can I buy cheap expanding foam from? I looked on Ebay and it's like $300.
go to ace hardware and a single bottle should be like 6.99 if its like 30.00 then it might be a 12 pack just read the description carefully, or checkout home depot or a smaller company ran hardware store. have fun :)
