  • To determine your archery draw length, you can follow these steps:
    1. **Wall Measurement Method**:
    - Stand with your back against a wall and stretch your arms out to both sides like a T-pose.
    - Have someone measure the distance from the tip of one middle finger to the tip of the other middle finger, and then divide that measurement by 2.5.
    - This result will give you an estimated draw length.
    2. **Arrow Measurement Method**:
    - If you have an arrow, you can draw it to a full anchor point and have someone mark the arrow right at the front of the bow's riser.
    - Then measure the distance from the nock groove to the mark on the arrow.
    - This measurement will indicate your draw length.
Having an accurate draw length is crucial for ensuring that your bow can be properly set up and that you can shoot comfortably and effectively.

You didn't show where or how to hold the end of the tape...

LOL, makes perfect sense. Funny bow shops normally measure from fingertips and while standing on your head, followed by dividing by the square root.

For me it’s been different from bow to bow. My draw length on a diamond infinite edge was set to 28” but we had to add twists to the string to shorten it a little bit for to be perfect, so maybe 27.75” or so…in the bowtech bt-mag I had it set at 28” but always felt a hair too stretched out when shooting on a decline…now on my new elite ethos it’s set just under 28.75” and feels perfect…all the wingspan math tricks to determine draw length seem to say I should be 28” draw on the button…was a good starting point but 28” has never felt perfect to me haha

This is more or less perfect. Keep in mind that if you are getting a bow like Mathews you will have to test the bow because there is no adjustment on the draw length. For every thing else this is perfect.

Come on this needs context. Compound bow should be mentioned

Wow that's simple enough, probably put the end of the tape in the circle of the thumb and pointer finger?
