You dear Sir are the perfect teacher for everything I was looking for. I have seen A LOT of tutorial videos for blender, but this one explained literally EVERYTHING I had questions about.
I have watched nearly an hour of Blender tutorials and unfortunately it led me down a path of artistic creation. I was interested in functional. In the first half for your video I learned everything I was looking for. And then after a brief interlude of more artistic Blender, kind of LOL, you added more in depth functionality. You have been bookmarked in my watch again list 😃
Honestly very easy to follow. I like that you didn't skip over anything while keeping the pace of the video high to keep attention. Thanks for the help!
Thank you so much for making this tutorial. There is so much in this tutorial I definitely will need to rewatch it a few times while using blender to get used to the interface.
Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge, advice and tips for using Blender. Recently purchased a 'starter' 3D filament printer (MINGDA Magician X) and now learning to create with Blender. Thank you for the time and effort you've put into making these videos.
Just starting and this is the best video I have found along with another of yours that I just watched. Time to play with it and feel like I even now have a clue. Thankyou.
Thanks for this video. I am plugging away and learning it. I did notice that you say press "Shift-R" to bring up the Remesh: Voxelsize grid at 20:05, where I found that just pressing "R" did this. No biggie just wanted to let you know and others who maybe confused when trying to bring the grid up.
1: Great video! 2: There is actually an even more convenient way to see edge lengths while modelling. When in edit mode, go to the overlay menu in the top right and under Measurements select edge length. You can also enable edge angle when useful for your model. This is super nice when manually extruding and moving and scaling and much easier than the MeasureIt plugin.
Question: when joining objects should you always use the Boolean or can you use the join (the command you used to join the three hole cutters)? Will it mess up a 3d print if you’ve used the join rather than Boolean?
Hellow. Thank you for this video. I got a problem with bending my obgect, wich is not just a cube. Some 'faces' I can not 'loop cut' for a reason I dont know and a bending doesnt works like it have to. Could you please make a video to explane how to bend some obgects, and a especially some not filled in objects, with a steps up and down :-). Thanks forward to you and have a good day!!!
Almost got setup, but about 2:15 I realized my cube's center origin is 1/2 into the grid. and not resting on top of the plane, where your's appears to be. Is there a way to adjust this setting for my template setup?
Is there a way to save the initial set up from meters to millimeters as a template or have Blender open with those settings each time instead of doing it manually for every new project?
Hello, I'm a model railroader, n I want to design a tender(n scale 1/160). I was told resin was the way to go. Is Blender a good app for designing this? Thanks for responding. 😊
Have you ran into the sculpture mode not working? Did some seraches and no results help my issues. The tool seem like they are working but you can't see what they are doing.
I followed along with the video and could not get the sculpting tools to work. They don't do anything. I tried to fix the scale to mm (in your earlier example) without any impact on getting the sculpting tools to work. Any advice? I've been googling and can't quite find the answer.
27:18 When I try to check the normals the option isn’t there. I’m using blender 4.1 if anyone knows how else I can check them! I tried playing around and looking at different settings and searching up on the menu search but it’s not working 😅
After you set all your desired settings (units ect) go to File -> Defaults -> Save Startup File This will save all your settings (including the default starting scene)
12 minutes in - when I’m clicking the 2 points it’s selecting the whole one side of the whole highlighting it in orange and then giving me 12000 different measurements for each point? What have I don’t wrong please!!!
you DEFINTLY earned a sub

Great tutorial, your pace is spot on, I pause and rewind when needed, while you video remains packed with information. Thanks.
I needed this! I had no idea where to begin. Definitely going to be watching the rest of your videos
Great job bud, is love to see more! Just starting my journey in blender and this has helped tons
Thank you so much for making this tutorial. There is so much in this tutorial I definitely will need to rewatch it a few times while using blender to get used to the interface.
For me as an absolute beginner in this program, I applaud you for this easy to understand tutorial!
Thank you!

What a Great Help this was for me. Trying to cut a hole with 2 known objects I already had. Thank you!
That was just the exact amount of what I needed to get started, thank you very much gentlemen
Im getting a printer and i was scared of 3d modeling cus it sounded impossible but your videos shows that its not,
Thanks Keep it up!
Awesome dude I have K1c 2 days first time print and model elec parts perfect because of your videos keep going 🎉
Really nice and easy tutorial for 3d printing, thanks :)
Thank you, Steven...very helpful.
Great video, simply and very well explained!
New Sub!
Nice technique. Some things for the CAD users and the Drawing users.
Awesome video, thank you
This tutorial is amazing! I am documenting my journey on my channel which turns out to be a ton of fun even though my designs are horrible xD
Simple and straight to the point. I use Shapr3D for modeling and it can be painful to fit myself in blender without proper measurements.

thank you so much! this is exactly what i was looking for!! “Shift + R” wasn’t working for me 😅

maybe im doing something wrong but its not showing the right measurement. its showing 2mm even though its a 60mm cube. what am i doing wrong?
Thanks real helpful .👍
I do not get the same options on the Transform panel when I press N. No dimensions. I get Median, Vertices Data and Edge Data. Any suggestions?
Super helpful

Transform isn't showing location, rotation, scale, or dimensions on mine
my blender does not have the hole cutter object
Will I need to manually set the units to mm every time I start a new project or is there a way to set it as the default units?

shift R to change voxel didnt work
11:30 useful adoon
Thinking about learning this because apparently it's free for commercial use, but damn it's way too damn complicated. Fusion 360 is so much easier
Now I'm hungry for meatballs.
Just came because of the title.
Blender + easy = good joke 😂😂
It’s like SAP in business… never easy
19:00 :O
Hey, What happened with "3d printing a 3d printed 3d printer? Please upload a vid!!! Everyone is waiting :(
