I really really wanted to learn the FOSS alternative instead of whatever paid software but it's getting very tiring. On the 1.0rc2 flatpak release there where all kinds of UI bugs so I tried the AppImage and it hard-crashed twice by minute 6:30 of the video simply by following the instruccions; and on both versions the offset tool wasn't working properly from the start so I gave up 😢 Perhaps it's more stable on other platforms? I don't know but I will try again when the final release comes out. Anyway, thanks for the video, very few starting guides updated at the moment.

Does it finally store the position of the tool bars? Or is the official statement still "that's too much work to implement"?

I can’t get the plane on top of the model
It seems I am unable to add dimensions when trying to make the rectangles. Is this a know problem?
Are you using 1.0 beta? It should let you add dims

Getting stuck on the pocket part 7:00, Pocket: Wire is not closed 5 times error.
Unfortunately this is now out of date. The new version of FreeCad doesn't match the tutorial at all.
Are you using 1.0 beta?
