It's been brought to my attention that the audio is in mono in this video and I apologize for that. @@williamsheehan1144 Well, i’m not him/her, but I will say i have not been disappointed with my printer, although printer fails can happen simply change up some settings and you’re all good to go. i’ve printed characters like Luffy, Killer Queen, Yuta Okkotsu and they all look great. so definitely a great investment if you’re not paying too much for a beginner printer
IMHO the best starter printer bang for the buck is the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. I've had nothing but success with it from the first test print. Setup was easy, it's not blazing fast but for churning out entire tables worth of wargaming terrain cheap it saves buckets of money. I am using Lychee slicer and it's been easy as pie, and isn't a printer that needs a bunch of upgrades. Self levelling, offset was super easy to set, direct drive filament feeder that is easy to load. As someone who wanted to print more than fiddle around with the printer it's been a good purchase.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. AS TIME, MONEY, AND SPACE ALLOW. I NEED TO INVEST IN A 3D PRINTER. IT IS THE FUTURE OF HOT RODDING. GREAT VIDEO AND EDUCATION. THANKS FOR SHARING. I LEARNED SO MUCH.
So much I don't understand - let's start with this: I make over dolls and need to print accessories...I have basic 'models' which I can use as the base, but would like to add features (shapes for detail). Is this possible or do I need to start everything from scratch?
I'm not sure what kind of 3D printer to get to print heads, hats and accessories for Funko pops. I also don't know what kind of material it needs and how much that costs. Any recommendations would be fantastic! Thank you in advance!
I see printers where the results are very granular and others that are nice and smooth. Which 3d printer is the smooth result type? I want to create clear structures to either shine light through or paint. Or if I want to print a windshield to a model car. So I need clear results.
What about workspace, venting, etc. I don’t have an extra room to print in and I e read that you should use a respirator and not to print near furniture you won’t want covered with excess dust or filament. I was looking to purchase the mars 3 pro for my 8 year old and of course learn along with him. Is resin harder to use than what is discussed in this video, and is resin the reason to need a respirator? It is indeed overwhelming.
Hi! Yes, resin is a different monster. It is much more messy and toxic if not done right. Ventilation is a must along with gloves, saftey glasses and something to protect the work surface. There is also more of a smell. I really would start with an FDM filament printer! I think you would both love it! Filament is much easier to controll the mess and you don't have to wash and cure it either.
