Upgrading rings is so wonderful! My gran wears all 5 of hers and although she has Alzheimer’s she can tell you when she got each one 😍

I've upgraded rings on each big anniversary, as my husband earned more money he wanted to upgrade until he gave the ring he always wanted to give me, but couldn't afford ♥️ it's not unusual to do this, don't know why women get bent out of shape about it.. I think it's lovely my hubby keeps us fresh, we've been married 35 years. You guys are long timers in the making xx
Dachshunds are "burrowers". It is in their nature to do so. Please, please read up on this and inform yourself. I have "blanket beds" all over my home and even when the weather is 30 degrees my daschund will burrow herself in a blanket. Please, please let Porter do what is in his breeds nature. A beautiful home means nothing if the people/animals can't enjoy it.

Please don’t apologize for upgrading your ring. My husband of 34 years and I have changed wedding bands as well as my engagement ring three times now. It makes him happy that he is able to. As we age and get more arthritis in our fingers, (I have had to have one cut off from my finger), we will probably have to change again. We look at it as…”We still do!” To be truthful, the best part is when he comes home from the jewelry store, we find a special place and he proposes once more. We kept our other rings and when I wear the gold setting, it reminds me of our first 10 years of marriage. The silver settings reminds me of the years that followed and finally, since platinum is now the fashion, I have my present ring and upgraded diamond. He has recently lost his band and was so happy to have a spare!!! You both are lovely together. Happy New Year to The Millen-Gordon Family!

Happy New Year. Upgrade away, I got engaged when I was 18, married at 19 and have had two children, so my finger size has changed so much and changes when the weather is hot or cold. My husband bought me a new wedding and engagement ring for hot days and one for cold and they are different styles as well. Nothing wrong with doing that as it's not the actual ring but the sentiment behind it that matters. My original ring cost 50 pounds, couldn't tell what the newer ones cost but it's never been about money, we'll be celebrating 32 years of marriage this year.
So glad you and Ali had a happy holiday and rest. I missed you! I really appreciate your channel. Blessing for a wonderful New Year!

My husband upgraded my engagement ring for our 25th wedding anniversary and at 40 years he added 2 eternity bands to wear along side the upgraded ring. Love them all and still wear my original diamond engagement ring for every day.

Zereshk Polo is my fav too, my hubby is Iranian and I cook loads of Persian foods. I love rice in the rice cooker and I cook it in a good non-stick saucepan too.

Lydia, this is wonderful and not what I expected. Most influencers at your level share an abundance of luxury items that most people can’t afford. It can really make people feel that their gifts don’t live up or they go buy things they can’t afford. I went overboard this year on my family and closest friends probably because of last year and how terrible it is. I can afford what I spent but I looked at it afterwards and started thinking that I want to revamp Christmas. I thought about doing the whole “Something you want, something you need, something to wear and something to read (something ‘fun’ for non readers) for the adults along with stockings. What I LOVE about your gifts is that everything was so personal and special and treasured by you. Gift tags for your homemade items, saffron and rice cooker, books, wine, jam, etc. not one really mainstream thing! I felt so refreshed. I’m sending to my adult children and parents. This is what we are doing from now on. Thank you so much for sharing! It made my day. And I love how you gifted the special things like ring and car. I don’t put those in the category of over abundance of luxury giving. You planned it together, can afford it and you don’t make a big deal of it. Can’t explain this well but it just comes across differently.

Lydia i have been using rice cooker for about 15y my inlaws were living in iran for while my husband was born there and i absolutly love some of the food, hence rice cooker was my present when we moved into our house and with my coffee machine it is the most used kitchen gadget . Enjoy !
