I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at the same time when I was 18 or 20. It's not a bad procedure at all. I would rather get the tooth removed than rely on pain meds to deal with the discomfort. Love your vlogmas videos 🤗
I just browsed through the Karen Millen website and noticed that some of the items in your collection are available in bigger sizes?!?! I almost cried when I found that out. That black dress you wore in London is an absolute dream. Though quite reasonably prized i still won't be able to afford something like it until I finish my degree but a girl can dream 🥰
I’m so sorry about your headaches and toothaches! But I am so impressed at how positive you stay even through the discomfort! I’ll be praying for you 😊🙏
I can empathise with you on the wisdom teeth pain and inflammation. I had 4 of mine removed when i was in my 30s after suffering from an abcess. Worst pain ever! Im so glad i had them removed. My advice to you is to go for it, you wont regret it x
Hi Lydia, as a dental nurse i would highly recommend making sure you clean your wisdom tooth with your toothbrush, and use the corsodyl gel with it. It's often because you get food trapped in a partially erupted wisdom tooth, so when it starts getting sore we clean it less, which makes the pain and swelling worse. It hurts like hell, but really helps
My dentist told me this, I went in with pain and he said it just needed irrigating. So I’ve bought myself a water flosser so I can kind of irrigate it myself 😂
@@gracethompson6926 My mum keeps badgering me about buying a Water floss as I have have a partially erupted wisdom tooth like Lydia which is prone to infection too. I have a mini toothbrush which is great but would you recommend the water one? X
Hey Lydia, I've been through Invisalign and getting all of my wisdom teeth out. I would highly recommend getting them taken out. I used to have the same symptoms and I don't get the pain or headaches any more from impacted wisdom teeth. Invisalign and switching trays, this hurts only on certain trays for me but would die down after 24-48hrs. Hope this helps :)
Omg I can totaaly relate to the 'picking me up from the station". on my first day at uni my mom came and picked me up and she brought our sweet dog with her, and it was the most amazing thing ever! Have a nice day xxx
People try and pull Lydia personally and her career down so much. But in this video she is sat working with karen millen on multiple collections. Sitting next to her is her best friend who she works with and has been friends with for years. I think both of these prove her career is more than fine lol and her personality has stayed the same. I think their friendship is so amazing. Helping each other grow in every possible way. Sad that some people choose to hate instead of being inspired. I mean a hot husband, amazing best friend and making a fortune with her job. Who wouldn't want that.... Side note would be cool to keep seeing more of the business side. :)
If the dentist suggests you need your wisdom tooth pulled, take care of it. I had mine pulled when I was about 12. No problem. Easy Peasy. If your throat hurts that may be infection draining down from your tooth. It can only get worse. Get it done . Your overall health is important. Our body relies on EVERY part being healthy and in working order. Ok mom. 😊❤️
You mean a partially erupted wisdom tooth not ruptured. I have the same thing and the gum swells (periodontitis), food can get trapped in there. Using a good mouthwash and even a waterpik to clean around the tooth may help. The only way to stop the issue is to have your tooth extracted.
Please Lydia can you ask the Karen Millen team to improve the quality of fabrics and buttons etc like their clothes used to be. They have great design still but the quality lets them down.
Karen Millen is owned by boohoo now unfortunately. The quality will never be good as the clothes are made in sweatshops for as cheap as possible with terrible work conditions.
Have your wisdom teeth taken out, you’ll feel so much better and it’ll be done with. I had all 4 of mine taken out at once and I did not have any issues.
I’m concurring with everyone else in this comment section - I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at once and after a week I looked and felt normal! A week is nothing compared to being in pain!! Hope you feel better soon!
Lydia, it's really not so bad having a wisdom tooth removed! It's so easy- you go in and wake up an hour later and all's well and done. I've had all of mine removed and its helped with my jaw issues and ill bet it will help with headaches as well. They don't get uncomfortable for no reason and its normal for it to get overcrowded and need to remove. It's probably why you are getting headaches. Don't put off and get an infection - it's truly not that bad. 💚
My dentist suggested for me to take out my wisdom tooth as well, because it caused me swelling. The reason is because there is gam partially covering the tooth, the food could go under the gum and create bacteria. When he explained the cause I said to simple remove that part of the gum. And that was it. The tooth wasn't fully exposed, causing all the problems
I’m guessing she means that if she films in “real time” and is traveling somewhere, for example, it could mean that people who have found her address will go rob her house more freely or people will intentionally try to find her wherever she’s gone and harass her. It’s good practice for everyone to delay any type of social posting, but I would imagine even more so for someone in the public eye (of sorts)

You had said at the beginning of the year on your IG stories that your teeth were perfect and ready for bonding or something and they looked super straight in the picture. Was is photoshopped?
About your invisalign and headaches: ask your dentist about an OrthoPulse device! It's a painless near-infrared light you hold in your mouth (it's got a little rubber tray to bite down on) for something like 10 minutes a day. My dentist gave me one as part of my invisalign package - it works by speeding up cell turnover, and (at least for me) it _massively_ reduced inflammation and cut my treatment time in half. I suffer from chronic migraine, badly enough that I'm treated by a pain specialist at a local hospital, and having that device made it possible for me to get through my invisalign treatments with no problems. The only day they really felt like anything was the first day on a new tray: after that, no discomfort! As an aside: I've also had my wisdom teeth out, and I asked to be asleep for it so the process would be less awful. Afterward, it was just a few days of looking like a chipmunk and the frequency and location/strength of my headaches was reduced by quite a bit. I definitely understand the hesitation, but if you think you can get through it, it might be worth doing too ❤️✨
Sorry to hear you suffer headaches. I started getting botox in my head which helped 70%. Now I inject Emgality once a month into my stomach. It has changed my life. No more migraines! I hate needles but this doesn't hurt. The applicator is similar to what a diabetic uses to test their sugar.
Lyd - I had the same issue with one of wisdom teeth and in the end had to have to removed and it was sooooo much better! So I would recommend you look at that option as once its gone you never get pain again!
Oh Lydia tooth pain is awful. I had all my partially erupted wisdom teeth out, they’d started to decay 😯 Best thing I ever did. I love it when my hubby picks me up too.. it’s a special feeling is t it☺️ Love that Bulgari bag ❤️
I remember those vlogs where Ali and Lumi picked you up from the station in his Audi TT . It was so sweet! I’ve been wearing Invisalign for 2.5 years now, instead of 6 months so totally understand your pain. I think you can buy BareMinerals in Boots next to Bond Station ( where you had your Elizabeth Arden makeup bag launch I believe 🥰). I love how Portelini is the guardian of the MG house! His barking is truly ferocious!😄❤️
I hate it when people give me advice sometimes but here I go...get the wisdom tooth taken out, when you mentioned the throat hurting and the pain going down the neck...that was me. You'll be sooooooo glad you had it removed, you'll wonder why you didn't have it done sooner and for myself, I found out it was contributing to other health issues that I was having. All the best...I love your channel.
Hi Lydia - I'm sorry to hear that your wisdom teeth are bothering you like this. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I struggled with mine for almost 5 years, it was quiet for a while, and then suddenly they started to reverberate and the pain and discomfort were horrible - migraines, swollen glands, etc. The year before last I finally took the plunge and had them removed - not going to lie, the healing wasn't easy as I had quite a complicated procedure but it was worth it - I've had peace of mind ever since! So for me, I can definitely recommend having them removed...And they can also push for the other teeth so it is not easy to make teeth straight if you have these little fellas at the end
If you do have to get your wisdom tooth taken out - I highly suggest you have them put you under. I had my wisdom tooth and molar taken out at the same time and I was put to sleep. The recovery is slightly longer because you do go under anesthesia but it's super fast for them to do when you are not awake. And bonus of course, you don't feel anything - Just pain afterward. :)
I really enjoyed this blog. I love watching you going to your meetings and hanging out with Carrie and conducting business. It’s really special that you are giving us insight into your business life as well as your gorgeous personal life. Thank you for taking time for this
Lydia, just a thought, I add a few drops of essential oils (lemongrass) to my cleaning liquid for a stronger smell, so to your Kinfill cleaning solution.

Im only 1:53 in and I have to comment. DO NOT EVER diminish your own pain. I have bad teeth and suffer from ruptured teeth on a regular basis. That pain is unbearable. I am hoping you can get into a dentist and get it removed!!
Please get your wisdom teeth out - the pain!! And you should have it done asap so you can complete Invisalign with your go-forward set of teeth. I was a late thumb sucker too…and just finished Invisalign also! All my wisdom teeth were impacted so they came out when I was 18.
Sorry for your wisdom tooth pain. Let it remove. It‘s a short time of discomfort and you are done with it. I myself procrastinated this faaar to long. And now I‘m happy and without pain.
Love the bag! I sometimes switch the long chain for a silk scarf that I 'braid' and add with bows on both ends. Not to wear it like that but as something extra.
I totally understand the pain your going through, this past month I've been dealing with some painful toothaches and swelling! Wishing you healing and love ♥️✨everything will be ok!
Hi Lydia! I LOVVVVE your channel. I also use Invisalign. I was having such a terribly uncomfortable time. My doctor recently prescribed to me a VPRO vibration device. What a game changer! I use the device 5 minutes a day. No more discomfort, at all! It’s $500 in the US. Best of luck to you! BLESSINGS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS 😊
Omg 😱 girl get those wisdom teeth pulled out. I did all four at the same time and it was the best decision I ever made no more pain also no more bacteria trapped under your gums and my cheekbones got even more prominent bonus.

You might have to get it removed. I had a partially impacted wisdom tooth and I had to have it removed. It would cause me so much pain. Like you gum would swell and mine ran into my ear as it was on my upper gum.
Lydia..I suffered with a bad wisdom tooth and once it was pulled..it was such a relief!! I don't miss it at all!! Here in the U.S...some of our shelves are empty, also.

Lydia. I hope that I don't burst your bubble but I think that bows after 12 or 13 years are too prissy and don't do anything as an accessory except distract from your gorgeous clothing.
I have the same issue with my Invisalign!!!! Chronic headaches and the retainers always make it worse. Only have myself to blame for my wonky tooth still being out of place but it’s tough to power thru the headaches. 😣 we will have straight teeth by 2023!

Oh my goodness Lydia! Thank You for taking us through the bits of the process, Carrie is phenomenally professional & Ali is in the truest form of a gentleman picking you up! xo ❤️🎄❄️
I did Invisalign for 5 years. In the 6th year, my orthodontist said I have ran my course with Invisalign and my only option are braces. Thankfully, he didn’t charge me a penny more. But in record time, from January to September 2021 I wore braces and it perfected my teeth. It was awkward but glad it’s finally over. It really was my fault too because I often didn’t wear the liners for 22 hours especially during the 2020 lockdowns. I hope that it works out faster for you than I experienced. Also my teeth were heavily spaced and the liners did the job of closing the gaps but the braces made it near perfect. Also, I was told I would wear Invisalign for about 2 years.
@@equatorialjourney4478 I am happy that you feel that way. Thankfully for me, my teeth looked a thousand times better after Invisalign. Again if not worn exactly prescribed you’ll get varying results. I am happy with my outcome before braces and even happier with it after wearing braces for a few months. It’s my journey that I shared and really wasn’t interested in reading your thought on it being “overrated”. Often times on social media people enjoy putting others down. What may work best for you may not work best for someone else. My only reason for sharing is Lydia mentioned it is taking her longer than expected and I shared my experience. If I had to do it all over again I will choose Invisalign. I’d very much prefer to wear braces for only a short time than a two year typically prescribed period. All the best to you.
@@equatorialjourney4478 I do have one more item I would like to address. I am so weary of sharing my lived experience online and for someone to attack it with their “I think”. When we go online and make comments, we need to be thoughtful of others. Please, share your lived experience with Invisalign. Have you used Invisalign? If you didn’t, why make a passing remark with your “I think”? I didn’t say one negative thing about braces and Invisalign, no one asked the question if you think Invisalign is overrated. I shared my lived experience. Please, people need to stop sharing their “I think” and more of their lived experiences. That is how we connect better online.
@@equatorialjourney4478 that’s the issue, you haven’t tried it but have so much to say on it. I would do it the way I did all over again. I did write in my first comment that my orthodontist hadn’t charged a penny more for the braces, that is so gracious of him. He was also very professional and an expert at explaining to me the process at the very begging and throughout. But what you failed to understand is that without wearing it 22 hours per day, you’ll have varying results. It’s not the orthodontist, it’s not Invisalign, it’s the patient. So if your friends hadn’t had the best experience, leave it to them to speak their lived experience because at this point it’s considered gossip and hear say coming from you.
@@equatorialjourney4478 in my experience, the cost for Invisalign and braces were the same. My teeth were getting really horrible after pregnancies. It had nothing to do with what I was born with. In fact, my dentist told me when I was a teenager, I only needed retainers and therefore decided against it. Your “sociological commentary” is dripping in self loath. Who are you tell someone what they should or shouldn’t have done to their body? Are you Lydia’s husband? Mother, father, best friend or even a friend to her? No. You are just a person telling another woman she is not good enough based on her life choices. You need help. It takes courage for people to share their lived experience, for people like you to come with your snarky, unnecessary “I think” or “i personally believe” comments is unuseful and shameful. When people say “trust me”, it means trust them even less. ✌🏾

Watching the time laps of the meeting’ I just can’t take my eyes of the Green aviator jacket! 😍😍😍😍
Im only 1:53 in and I have to comment. DO NOT EVER diminish your own pain. I have bad teeth and suffer from ruptured teeth on a regular basis. That pain is unbearable. I am hoping you can get into a dentist and get it removed!!
Thank you, I was just thinking that. Our problems differ, they’re still problems nevertheless ❤️❤️
Hahahhahhaha the comedy that came with the red wine 🍷….
I Love your husband’s comments. He is the funniest 😂❤️
Love your style! Great job! Thank you for making your designs modest and beautiful!
The bag is just beautiful. That is going to be my next luxurt purchase for sure.
There’s a bare minerals boutique in Covent Garden x
Porter trotting off with the packaging whilst you were saying he needs to be better behaved was such a moment 😂😂😂
Hi Lydia - wonderful vlog as always!! Can I just confirm - is the fur coat actually faux fur? X
Yes that’s confirmed it’s part of my collection with Karen millen x
Oh thank goodness 💜
WOW! Love seeing the creative process when collaborating in the office! So cool to see
Love the bag! I sometimes switch the long chain for a silk scarf that I 'braid' and add with bows on both ends. Not to wear it like that but as something extra.
What about that Mini Kelly, is it a dupe🤔.
Me staring at that green coat while they are in a meeting. Trying so hard to zoom in. haha
Beautiful handbag! And I also really liked the top you “brought home” … I’ll be looking for that one when the collection launches
I’m loving these Ali spoiling the animals segments 😂😂
Have you tried clove oil, it really helps to numb toothache. Bless you, I really enjoy drifting away watch you live the dream lifestyle.
I totally understand the pain your going through, this past month I've been dealing with some painful toothaches and swelling! Wishing you healing and love ♥️✨everything will be ok!
“There is no way I’m making dinner” then runs around with dog. ME! Hahahah me with my toddler. I hate cooking dinner after a long day
Hope your feeling better soon … every time I watch your vlog intro.. it gives me a warm feeling of Christmas 🎄!!! Thank you for giving a funny … fashionable… heartfelt vlogs … give my hugs to Porter/ Lume 🥰🥰
Here's a bit of advice for the toothache take some cloves boil in water as a tea and enjoy a few cups the pain will go right away. Season greetings 🎄
I love how carrie is eating throughout most of the meeting 😁😂 i can relate lol
I put off getting my wisdom teeth out and after 3 bouts of antibiotics my dentists insisted on removal. It's worth it. Good luck❤️
Dear Lydia, often headaches are associated to dental problems, pls take out wisdom tooth, it's painless and you will feel new person once it's out. Painkillers are heavy and not a treatment.
Love love love how candid you are in your Christmas vlogs 💛
Lydia this happened to me with my wisdom tooth. I ended up having it removed. It was fine, no problem. Nothing to worry about. Great vlog! Xxx
Lydia. I hope that I don't burst your bubble but I think that bows after 12 or 13 years are too prissy and don't do anything as an accessory except distract from your gorgeous clothing.
It's def a look and vibe; sometimes it's fun to play with your style and change things up
The bows 😂
I have the same issue with my Invisalign!!!! Chronic headaches and the retainers always make it worse. Only have myself to blame for my wonky tooth still being out of place but it’s tough to power thru the headaches. 😣 we will have straight teeth by 2023!
I’m literally just rewatching your older vlogmas videos and ones from around that time, so many have Lumi in the car waiting to pick you up 🥰 loved those videos! ✨
that's a cute way to start the vlog by taking abt ur teethache, I really felt as if I'm speaking to my sis
Great vlog .....but best at the end ....always love a handbag ...but Porter trotting off with the dust bag was sooooo cute and funny bless him 😂😂😂😂
Thank you Lidya as always the vlog is so amazing, please tell Karen Millen to ship to Malaysia, They used to have their outlet here, but the close them two years ago, I can’t buy their pieces now, and been sadly only able to see their collection from the website and not able to buy them. ♥️♥️
Your look with a fur coat and a bow reminds me Gala Dali style so much. I didn’t know it is fashion again 😂
@@BClanBeauty . See ya ! Enjoy your straight teeth . I’m out .... you sound like my daughters old primary teacher
My son has the same with a wisdom tooth. He uses a water machine that squirts water around the gum. Really has worked, I'll ask him the name.x
I'm so sorry about your headaches and toothaches. I also had trouble with my invisalign and had to get a new set of trays that moved my teeth slower.
Loving your vlogmas this year, especially. I feel like it's such a great glimpse into your real life in such a fun and casual way. Like we are just friends having a day together, as I watch your vlogs while I'm working and puttering about with my christmas decorations.
LMAO the wine pour, haha! "**** What are you playing at!"
